Excellent buffet, clean casino, great if you like some quiet without the hustle of the strip. Always professional here, and they treat you like you're important. My favorite place to stay in Vegas.

Magnificent hotel and casino, primarily due to its level of friendliness towards locals. Pool is open in the summer to locals if you show your ID before 12pm. The staff are spectacular and make being at home a vacation.

IF what you're looking for is a quiet, get away wi...

IF what you're looking for is a quiet, get away with a "vegas-like" feel, M Resort may be just the place for you. I struggled with the highly generalized rating categories on this one. Appeal - it's a very nice hotel. Well designed, well decorated (aside of the lack of furniture in the main lobby. Seating for 10, in a lobby the size of a basketball court? Seriously??) If you plan on staying here, thinking that they will accommodate your desire to go hit the Strip, think again. The M Resort does offer a free shuttle service, but it only runs every 4 hours ("but it's free", I was reminded by one particularly rude staff member) - shuttle to the airport is about every 2 hours. It's realistically a 20 minute drive to the Strip, or the airport - by cab it cost around $40-$50.

The facilities were good... when they were open. It felt like there were barriers everywhere we looked. Nothing was ever open. The pool opens very late (10:00am every day we were there) and closed at 6:00 every night. The "adult" pool wasn't even open while we were there. The crowd at the pool seemed like mostly locals that bought a day-pass to the pool. Not sure why, but that bothered us. I hear there are some nice restaurants at M Resort - I wouldn't know, because it seemed that none of them were ever open. I know that's an exaggeration, but it really felt that way when we were hungry and went from restaurant to restaurant searching for food, only to find our choice limited to the beer bar, with school cafeteria style food. Not good. This was just how the whole place felt - empty, nothing open. Like a hotel that will be cool when it finally has it's grand opening.

Service - this was spotty. Most of the staff were very courteous and seemed (almost too) appreciative of our staying there. There were a few stand-outs when it came to poor service, however. I won't name names, but suffice it to say there were several staff members that were just downright rude, and one in particular that made the last day of our visit just that - that last day that we will ever visit the M Resort.

Last, but certainly not least - for the love of all things holy, GET RID OF WHATEVER "FRAGRANCE" IT IS THAT YOU ARE PUMPING INTO THIS PLACE!!! Every time we walked through the doors it was like needles straight to the headache zone in our brains. Whe we were inside the hotel, we would have constant sinus headaches, as soon as we walked outside, it would clear up. It honestly makes me gag just thinking of that smell...

Bottom line - it's a beautiful hotel that I will never again visit.

Very luxurious casino, great air quality!

Very luxurious casino, great air quality!
Choosing to eat the buffet here is a great enjoyment. There is no time limit for eating. It is no problem to eat and drink for a few hours. It is to enjoy the delicious time without pressure!
There are seafood special dishes on Fridays and Sundays. I just met the supply of seafood crab feet. It s sweeter and more delicious than going to Hokkaido!

Great Resort just stayed last week great buffet and restraunts but the only problem is they gave us a room on the opposite side that I wanted. I wanted a perfect view of the strip which I had to wait a day and when I got the new room there was a blown out speaker for the TV and the bathroom door knob was broken so I had to call the repair man which had only taken 15 minutes luckily and besides that everything was great

Excellent customer service in booking a room, dinn...

Excellent customer service in booking a room, dinner reservations, friendly/accommodating hotel staff and an amazing spa experience on top of all of that. Spa Mio was a birthday present for my mother and we had the absolute best time there all day. Very relaxing from start to finish with tons of options for types of treatments to get, plenty of complimentary beverages, and we were always within the reach of a fresh towel as they have them everywhere. Their steam room was one of my favorite features with beautiful color changing lights in the ceiling and what I believe was eucalyptus mixed in with the steam.

Anthony's steak house was absolutely killer with how good the food was. Best cut of meat I've had in a long time as well as the side dishes which were DELICIOUS. Out waiter was very accommodating in helping me surprise my mom with a birthday desert which i'm thankful for. :)

I would easily stay here again and if you've got the money to spend on a hotel stay but don't want to battle traffic along the strip, then this is a great option when coming into Vegas. Very easy to travel too and not too far away from the city.

Went to M for a little gambling with a freebie promotion. Had lunch there a few weeks ago, first class buffet (pricey), specialty coffees and all you should drink beer and wine and awesome desserts. Technically on the strip, but not- far end south when Californians are coming into town. Heard they have a great pool for a fee to locals.

My wife and I were recently brought here by some friends of ours who live in Vegas while we were out on vacation. Simply put- this casino/hotel blows the socks off of any place I've been on the strip! VERY clean, Very friendly and laid out VERY well. The buffet was the best of the trip! I will be sure to go here if I ever make it out Vegas way again!

Stayed December 2012

There is a security officer named Ivan who went above and beyond to help me out and make my day easier.
He has the right idea on what hospitality is. I wish more people in Las Vegas were as helpful as him. I was freaking out about trying to edit a resume. I could not figure out how to work google docs. He showed me, helped me fix it, while still making sure to do everything he was required to do in his actual job. Showing a guest how to use google docs in not in his job description. But he did it because he wanted to be helpful. He deserves a raise. Promote him please

This place is beautiful. On the outside it is a plain black, glass building. On the inside it is elegantly decorated. The rooms are luxurious rooms. The bathroom was amazing with a large vanity and sunken tub. My view of the beautiful pool and the Las Vegas strip was breat taking. In their resturant they have some crispy fried shrimp that is the best I ever had. Also, angus sliders were mmmm good. Go for happy hour and experience the best 5 star food I have ever had. Small casino but otber amenities are great. Go visit the M you will not regret it.

THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL GUEST. It seems the M casino likes to spray all the customers with perfume. This is running rampant with Las Vegas casinos. Spraying customers to hide the smoke smell. I will never gamble at M anymore and I gamble thousands of dollars every week. I just hope the perfume does not cause cancer.

Tried to go to the buffet many times. Always a way too long wait just to pay. We did get a lunch there some months ago but not worth a 40 plus minute wait to eat. Too many others to go to. This last time we went to green valley and almost walked in and buffet was equal, just no 40 minute wait!!

The resort itself was clean and versatile. When I turned on the water in the room, black sewage overflowed in the bathroom and the smell was so strong I had to leave the room. Management sent a repair team and cleaning service to fix the issue but it took over 3 hours in which I had to be outside of the room (problem started at 11pm).

On certain days, rate for buffet dinner may be tripled without notice because of some 'special' which may just be an additional seafood item.
A diner risks getting trapped in this lonely resort, far away from foregone alternatives on the strip.
My experience was a total regret.

Nice and clean casino. Friendly staff. Free parking. But, trash can was overflowing in the parking garage. First impression was not good.
Seems like older calmer crowd for a Saturday night. Different from The Strip crowd.

I recently visited the M Pool and was very disappointed. The cabana we were in was small for the six adults in attendance. I ended up sitting on the end table. The "music" (more like noise) from the "adult side" was annoyingly loud and hindered our conversation. We ordered food and were again let down. The chicken fingers were luke warm and the french fries were soggy as they were packaged in an air tight container and were "steamed" between packaging and delivery. I ordered a Pina Colada and by the time it was delivered (20 min later) the ice had all melted. Overall, I was very unimpressed with the experience. If you're looking for a club atmosphere at a pool, this is your place. If you're looking for a relaxing afternoon by the pool, keep looking.

It's off strip, so they make up for that in quality, comfort and attention. For the same price as most mid-range, average hotel casinos in Vegas, you'll get 5-star accommodations and be treated like a true guest. We've stayed at most of the casino hotels in Vegas and this stay, by far, has been the favorite.

The rooms are beautiful, with large bathrooms. The slots seem looser than most places we've been, and the food is fantastic.

Great rooms at the M resort with complementary spa access every time I have went. The value and amenities about this place rivals the other hotels. You also have access to the great buffet in the casino.
