Horrible time management. They re always late with their patients appointments. Like ALWAYS late. They would book me at 11am but the doctor actually sees me at 1pm. They would also delay my appointment for days. I would say never come back to this place again. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Every irresponsible with their patients and patients time. Buying the worst service ever.
They forgot about me for a month. I was supposed to have my ob check every 2 weeks because I m on my 8th months pregnant already. The doctor stopped seeing me for a whole month. And I m about to due. I paid 800 dollars plus insurance, they just easily missed a whole months appointments for me. The doctor sent me to a lab for blood work. They said it should be included in the insurance, but they tried to charge me another 300 dollars for the blood work afterwards. I m about to due in weeks, and still haven t seen doctor Alwan. I hope this place can be more responsible with their patients!
I am completely disgusted by his lack of professionalism. This is my first pregnancy, I went to him because I was really early and I started to bleed. I was nervous of miscarriage. As soon as I got into the room he greeted himself, and then I started explaining my concerns such as bleeding, cramping, etc. He then started explaining that I need to stop worrying about it, and that I can't tell him how to do his job.
Like what??? When did I tell you to do your job? The ER told me to get my hormone levels checked from blood 24hrs after, and that's what I told him. He was very disrespectful.
He then went on to do the exam and without warning or ANYTHING. He shoved his hand to examine my area and it was LITERAL pain. Like I've never been so uncomfortable with anyone ever. That was my first and last visit.
Never again. I switched doctors immediately. Disgusting.
Best doctor EVER I took my mom to Tijuana for the laser eye surgery worse experience ever! I took my mom (Ofelia Resendez) to Dr. Mark I could not be more thankful best results and after care is great. I highly recommend him !!!
Blown away with the disrespect! Received this letter in the mail after ALREADY paying my balance over the phone! Being called an embarrassment is beyond unprofessional. Not to mention the service and wait time here is horrendous. Two months to see the doctor. Complete lack of empathy. Don t waste your time or money here.
Dr alwan delivered my daughter 2019! He helped me deliver a 10 lb baby naturally! He had so paitence! The Staff are always so helpful and always ready to help me !!!! Now im currently seeing him for my second pregnancy!
I couldn't have asked for a better OBGYN, Dr. Alwan is amazing, intelligent, caring, compassionate, and always takes his time to explain things, and doesn't seem rushed like many other doctors. Thank you to Dr. Alwan for making me feel valued as your patient.
Always respectful and caring! Dr. Alwan and his staff have taken care of me through two deliveries and over 18 years, and I would recommend them to anyone who asks. He is always patient, kind and considerate of both mine and my husband's feelings. Most times I am in and out of the office for my appointments, but I do try to give the staff some grace because I understand that emergencies are unexpected and having your OB/Gyn there taking his time to care for you is what we're all looking for.
Dr. Alwan was great years ago but I agree with others about appointment times being off and his PA in Upland has no regard for patients. I am a working mother of two boys, one with autism. I have to make special arrangements with respite or family, or I have to leave work early when I plan appointments because my son needs constant specialized care. I'm also careful about asking for time off because I have so many appointments for my son. I got a missed call just under three hours prior to my appointment cancelling on me. I figured it was a reminder as no message was left. I showed up and the front desk says the PA decided to go home early. I questioned this thinking there must be some mistake. Again and again I was told that she wanted to go home early. I'm now scrambling trying to figure something out to be seen and have care for my son. No regard for patient needs.
I will be forever grateful wirh Dr. Alwan. He is amazing. I'll never forget what he did for me during my high risk pregnancy. My daughter is now 24 years old. Thank Dr Alwan
