M Crowd Restaurant Group/ MI COCINA Preston Forest Village Review

It was 5:30 _ 6 on a Fri when we arrived. More than one eating establishments in the area. Parking is a premium but found a spot quickly. Looked like valet was available. Checked in to an hour and half.wait. Normally we don't wait like that but not familiar with the area to find someplace else so we stayed. The only negative is strictly personal. We are retired and the clientele is about 1/2 our age with kids. The floor, walls, and ceiling are all hard surfaces so the place has a loud din. Hard to converse. If you want a quiet romantic place Fri nite isn't it.

I came in for dinner this past Sunday and sat in the back room, my server Zaid made my experience amazing! Great customer service and made me enjoy my visit with my family and made it much better! Definitely making sure next time I visit that I will be trying to be seated wherever Zaid is serving for the night!

I had a great experience there especially with one of the workers named Armando. He was very customer friendly when we arrived there. The food was amazing, the restaurant looks great from the inside. Would recommend for anyone to go there if you haven't already.

I went for dinner last week and I enjoyed everything, not just the food was good but what made my visit excellent was the service; our waitress Nelly was such a sweet wonderful person, she was on point with drinks, and always smiling.
If you go to Mi Cocina definitely request Nelly as your waitress for an excellent service.

I just had a great experience with Miguel, he was a very outgoing waiter and very straightforward in explaining the menu and all the options. Overall a great waiter and restaurant, 10/10!!

Omar at this location is THE best server I ve ever had at Mi Cocina (and I go to ALL the mico locations). Five stars for a five star restaurant!!!!!!

It was my first time in Texas and I went w a group of my friends!! Food was amazing and am planning on coming back in the next month :) Armando our server was the BEST!! I love when my servers know the menu and are willing to give their own suggestions when I have questions.

Price little high for some food too. Always so buzy on the weekends, you probably should make reservations first, but in the winter season if you seat inside its too loudly. In the summer time outside much nicer. We got (first photo) shrimp thay was so salty half of those we was not eat, fish (second photo) was smell bad our kid try to eat but it was not good. If you like just drink than it's a great place for you.

The street tacos "Mi Terra" was probably the best taco I've ever had!

I will definitely be visiting this location more often. I couldn t have been more pleased to have Jessica as our bartender, not only did she make sure we were happy and satisfied during our visit she also went the extra mile and suggested new drinks that would fit my diet better than what I usually order. I love a great bartender with knowledge!!!!

After a disappointment from another location, we came to this location and were received with a beautiful smile and a welcoming voice from Nelly, turned our bad taste to a delightful night!

First time at Mi Cocina and it was wonderful! The manager greeted us personally and made sure to check on us during our meal. Chips, salsa, mambos & black bean dip were brought out by Pedro right away. The food was really great and the environment was lively. Will definitely be coming back here for date night

This long established Tex-mex restaurant offers ample parking in a great location. Even on busy nights the staff is efficient in serving and seating in a reasonable time frame. The menu options are varied with something for everybody. The margaritas were excellent. However, on this visit the restaurant seemed carelessly managed. Food on the floor, tables not cleaned, and dirty dishes stacked in sight. Our food was served cold and our waiter was inattentive. We never saw him after our food was served. We received the bill and paid it with dishes stacked on our table (half eaten). Very disappointing.

Took my wife for the first time, she really loved the food. We really appreciated the service by Oscar. He s a great guy, really efficient and polite.

We visited Mi Cocina at Preston Forest Village last Saturday. We were really impressed by the great atmosphere and especially the food was really delicious. Nelly was our server, she was very patient and courteous and was very knowledgeable about the menu. She made us feel at home which made our dining experience the one to remember. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back again.

I recently went with my friend to take him for his first time. The servers Angel and Lorena made sure our needs were met and we were felt at home. My friend loved it! Food was great!

I had the brisket tacos and they're sooooo good . & You have to try their bean soup of course. And drink a Mambo taxi!

Mi Cosina's food is Tex Mex type if food, but the quality and taste of the meals is very good. It's a family style comfortable place to eat for both lunch and dinner.

I love this place! Everything is delicious. This drink is called "The Flight" it's a classic margarita with Sangria, Mango margarita, strawberry margarita and a plain classic...so good.
