Many thanks to the Lyons Wilson team for the excellent service we had in our Conveyancing process, special mention to Kate and Gill . We always received fast replies and clear answers to our questions.
Throughout the process we experienced professional support and the result of their top-quality job is a straight forward buy. The agreed dates we always respected, this is just what is needed when buying a new property.

Had to change to another solicitor mid way through the conveyancing process because LW had done such a bad job. The employee handling my case confirmed to me multiple times that he had begun the work. I called one day for a progress update to find that this employee had left the firm (and I wasn't told), and on a review of my file none of the work had even been started!! When I called up to complain, I as told quite clearly that they currently have NO EMPLOYEES in the conveyancing department. At this point, I changed to another solicitor, who have been great. I have been told that they are now using locum/contractors in the conveyancing department. Overall, terrible communication, work delayed for no reason, no sincere apology received. (Although to their credit they did refund me). AVOID. I won't mention who I am using now, but they are a more established local firm with a strong online presence.

Michael from Lyons Wilson carried out the conveyancing on the purchase of our property. He was very professional, incredibly experienced and efficient. Thanks for all your hard work. The service I received was excellent, gave me a friendly and efficient experience during the whole process. Highly recommended.

I was recommended this solicitors by someone who used them a few years ago and looking at the reviews they seemed decent... Got a quote from Mike back in June - very quick speedy response when they wanted our money of course. A few weeks later, after I had paid a deposit, I still didn't receive a response back and when I did - it was from someone called Julie telling me that Mike had left and that she would now be dealing with us. Again, a week passed and I was not receiving a response from Julie. I called the office and I was told someone would call me back soon (never received calls back). Umer was then apparently dealing but in the words of my estate agent "It seems he doesn't know what he is doing". Every time I spoke with him, he said he would do something by a certain date... that date came and it would be extended until the week after. VERY FRUSTRATING. Umer was also sending me emails from "Kate's" email address (very professional). I was then passed onto a new person called Adnan who was just as awful as the rest and communication was POOR to the point myself and my estate agent were hounding them with calls trying to get a date for exchange and chasing things. So, we finally moved into the house in October and then in November received an email from Nathan (the 5th person we have now been passed along to) raising issues with our mortgage deed and sending it back out to us to be re-signed and questioning the ownership type ect.. something that we sorted a couple of months back now?! (clearly been lost somewhere). Anyway, thank god we don't have that stress anymore... but just in case you are thinking of paying these guys . DON'T.

I instructed Michael Judge to draw up some commercial leases for me and not only did it cost thousands for three identical leases, each one was so badly written that the other side had to keep sending back corrections from his copy and paste job. He incorrectly sent the wrong lease to one of the tenants with another tenant's information which was professionally embarrassing for me because they paid different rental amounts. It took months and months for the leases to actually be finalised, losing me thousands in rent. Even now I don't have copies of the tenants' signed leases and it's been 18mths since we moved in. I've been chasing these leases for months and he won't even reply to my emails. I've complained once and nothing came of it. Absolutely appalling service AVOID AVOID AVOID

Recently used the firm to arrange the sale of a property & Kate Lloyd from the firm was excellent throughout. She kept me updated throughout & assisted with queries I had completing of forms required & what was needed to be done to get the move completed quickly. Would recommend using & would use them again.

I have used Lyons Wilson Solicitors on several occasions now for house sales and purchases, I have always found Mike Judd and Kate Lloyd very fast, professional and efficient in the service they provide. I would highly recommend the services they offer, I also completed a new house purchase with Mike doing the conveyancing which took 7 days to exchange & completion which was done in amazing time.
