Hey, I just wanted to write a short review on google because I only saw one review so far, which was pretty bad and which I, therefore, didn't really find accurate. Lyon Bleu was all in all a pretty good school. I did an A2 language course and I'm pretty satisfied so far. I attended 25 h courses for two weeks and paid about 500 more or less, which was actually also the reason why I chose Lyon Bleu. For the product (it should be mentioned that 1 h lesson is actually a 45 min. unit) I was given, this was the best price I could find. As one of the previous reviews says they the weekly courses are divided into different daily categories, i.e. each day focuses on different linguistic areas (like Monday was Vocabulary and Phonetics, Tuesday Oral Atelier and Culture Atelier, Wednesday Writing and Reading, and so on). First I thought this would be a too strict regulation, but eventually I found the lessons really interesting and with this fixed timetables (which were given to the students always one week in advance or, if it was your first week, on your first day after having finished a small interview, which is relevant for your final categorisation. A1, A2, B1, ...) students knew what to expect the next day. I was actually looking forward to the Cultural and Phonetics classes, which proved to be the most interesting from my point of view. Of courses language teaching always depends on the teacher as well. I had three different ones, one was absolutely excellent, another one was still pretty good and we had a lot of fun during our classes and the last was not really bad, but lessons were a bit too organisationally, meaning that there was not much room for general questions like having chit-chat about what to see in Lyon or where to go out and have a beer. Nevertheless, we learned a lot also with this teacher, so all in all Lyon Bleu is really a good choice for learning French, especially when you're a beginner or intermediate. For levels higher than B2 (Lyon Bleu offered also a C1 course) I'd always recommend a higher school, which is to say university. If you want to to know more about Lyon Bleu feel free to contact me, I'm glad to help any other language learner :)
