Christian Kahlau Review of Lyon Bleu Internatinal

In September 2018 I visited Lyon Bleu for the second time, this time unfortunately only for a week (in March 2015 for two weeks). One thing in advance: I am absolutely thrilled with the school - hence my second visit and a third will certainly follow.
Here are the reasons for the 5 stars:
There is a very nice atmosphere in the school. It has the ideal size - not huge, anonymous and confusing, but not too small and bleak. After the written assessment test and a conversation, you are assigned to your group according to your level. From some of the same levels, even two or three groups have been set up so that not too many students are sitting in a classroom.
I was placed in the highest level (C1) and in retrospect I can say that it was a perfect fit.
Everything is very well organized and timed, everything looks well thought out. Above all, many activities and so-called workshops (workshops) are also offered in the afternoons; participation is free.
If you do not like the program "French and Cuisine", I recommend to book a standard course (about 3 hours a day). During my first stay in 2015, I had an intensive class with one-to-one tuition in the afternoon. I would not do that again, because in the afternoon so many activities are offered, in which one can participate. In addition, one would also like to enjoy the city in peace or meet - not only in the evening - with other students away from everyday school life for a coffee or sightseeing.
CONCLUSION: If you want to improve your language skills in a beautiful city and in a great language school, without sacrificing fun, culture and good food, this is the place for you.
