I only know the middle school (college), not the other levels of the school. It's a very large school (9 classes per grade) and follows the French curriculum rigorously, with some bonuses around the way languages are taught. We found the teachers to be professional and dedicated to their work. The director of the middle school is exceptionally good and very easy to reach in case of questions. Administration overall is easy to work with. The language program is particularly interesting at the LFB because they provision for Spanish, Catalan, and English at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels for all grades. The native-level English class was especially valuable for our family, but the ability to take the other languages at a high level was also a huge benefit. The only problems we had at the LFB were during the confinement, when online learning wasn't well-organized. Many parents were infuriated by the lack of coordination, and indeed it was quite a mess, but our kids were at the school for years and received an excellent education in my opinion. A couple of months with poor provisioning online doesn't change that. We've moved back to France now and the children have had no difficulty at all transferring back to the system here. If anything, they're a bit ahead. And the poor language courses here in France make us all miss the LFB!

I have been a student at this school since I was 3 years old and I have to say that the teaching staff is excellent and the level of learning is what corresponds to a year of studies in a Catalan or Spanish school. In other words, the school is one year ahead of Catalan and Spanish cabbages.

A shame.

A shame.

Teachers fail continuously. Today of 7 classes that had 5 have been canceled! They have been canceled 24 hours in advance and without explanations. 5 classes that are lost, that are not recovered.

The bad thing about all this is that it is not something punctual, it is every week. Each week several classes that are not taught because they are canceled.

And since they do not put any substitute, the children simply miss the class.

There are many homework assignments and they leave to the parents all the work of reviewing and teaching the children everything they do not learn in class.

It is shameful. And all this for the "modest price" of 700 / month.

If I dropped out of work as much as these teachers would have thrown me out in three days. They show a total lack of respect towards children and parents.

I can't judge whether to learn good French or not because mine already "wear it at home".

By the way, I see that there are very good reviews of people whose last name "curiously" sounds a lot to people close to the center ...
