What a complete and utter joke this company is!!!!! They make $7 sunglasses that they sell for hundreds of dollars and you can't get anyone on the phone to save your life!!! I have 6 pairs of Oakley's, 2 pairs of Ray Ban's and I can't get anyone to pick up a phone!!!!

The brand names and product quality are very good. The ability to actually communicate with someone in "customer service" when you have specific questions is AWFUL !! It's frustrating and a complete WASTE OF YOUR TIME since there is no way to reach "customer service" directly. LUXOTTICA NEEDS TO DO MUCH BETTER !!!
Nice atmosphere to work in as far a scenery but to actually make luxottica into a career is a bad choice. They treat there call center reps like trash and fill them with hopes and dreams of making more money and hopefully becoming higher level management but there is a slim chance of that happening to much pressure for such lil pay 13 an hour. And the company itself needs to be reorganized
Returned flawed sunglasses and never heard back from them. Update: Finally received sunglasses back after 10 weeks. Wrong lenses but who's complaining.
Good service and glasses. I bought glasses from here 4 years ago. Today I was wearing my contacts so my glasses were in the case in my bag and they must've fallen out because they ended up under my car. Needless to say, I ran over my glasses with my car. My car weighs approximately 3,278 lbs according to google. I have the Luxottica Titanium glasses. My case has a scuff mark on it from the concrete, but other than that it works just like new still. My glasses, however, have nothing wrong with them at all. They weren't even bent. I am convinced these glasses are the best glasses to have since you can run them over with your car and they still won't break. Hhowever, if you want your glasses to break so insurance will buy you new ones, these wouldn't be the ones to buy.
Never buy Oakley!!!I called Luxottica to warranty my sons Oakley glasses and they proceeded to tell me he is past his limit of warranty them even though it s with in the warranty time frame. They want to purge out 80.00 dollars more to get them replaced. Because they don t make the parts for them any more.... hummm get another of the same pair and have to pay more money when they break again or go to walmart and have peace of mind that they will replace them if they break no matter how many times in one year!! No brainer!! Oakley your products do not stand the test of time and you not stand behind them either... my mistake never buy Oakley!!!!!!!
Call center sometimes takes up to 30 min to respond, but generally they have been helpful. If your glasses are out of warranty and no parts are available to fix, they offer 40% retail which comes out decent. Could probably find cheaper deals from shady online retailers, I purchased direct.
I developed a rash after wearing Ray Ban glasses. I contacted customer service and was told it if from the acetate in the plastic frame. I have worn RB before, I wear prescription glasss, wear Maui Jim glasses and have even worn dollar store glasses. This has never happened to me before. Management would not let me return or exchange the glasses. I contacted Maui Jim in the past after I broke an arm on my glasses. Customer service at MJ stands behind their products. They no longer had the part required to fix my glasses but offered me half off a new pair. My glasses were not even new. I m disappointed in the lack of empathy or concern at Ray Ban. I will support Maui Jim again instead.
Based on my experiences with Luxottica, Lenscrafters, Pearle Vision, and Sunglass Hut, it appears the communications between upper management and retail employees is extremely disjointed.
I would provide helpful suggestions but for one important fact. Luxottica and their affiliates get paid to care about their customers needs and concerns. No indication of this has been evidenced through my communications with either Luxottica nor any of their affiliated retailers.
Unless drastic measures are employed quickly, as a former stockbroker and doctor, I expect a bankruptcy is in their not to distant future as they appear sold on the notion that they are "too big to fail".
MANAGEMENT LET'S THEIR EMPLOYEES TEXT PERSONAL BUSINESS WHILE ON THE JOB- SOME APPEAR TO BE DRUNKEN RANTS, IN MY OPINION AND EXPERIENXE W/ ONE EMPLOYEE WHEN NOTIFIED SHE MAY HAVE CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS UPCOMING! bad!
