Many films, reasonable price only they pay very strict attention to the age restriction

the prices for popcorn and drinks are simply too expensive as well as for the seats

The staff was friendly and helpful. Admission prices are reasonable, but the prices especially for the drinks are rather high. I saw a film in the "Crown" room, unfortunately the projection only covered half of the screen and the sound was also poorly implemented. Should that be so? When the trailers and the advertisements were running, it was different and the screen was fully used. For a small picture and bad sound, it is unfortunately not worth driving here, so rather no recommendation for this cinema.

I have visited it twice.
Expensive, fee for buying tickets online, screens are tiny. The rooms upstairs are horrible, there is a hole between the floor and the wall causing light pollution and hearing every person walking by, especially amazing when kids movie ends next door.
They never show movies with subtitles, only sparsely in original versions. I literally prefer driving for 600km and avoiding internet for a week (spoilers) to going to this place.

Attention high parking fee, so only a star, in addition to cinema visit too expensive, and thus I remain a loyal customer of Kinopolis Vierheim

Very nice cinema! The prices are reasonable for what is offered there. I am thrilled by the large selection of films - even in English. On each of my visits, the young staff was very friendly and even responded to special requests as far as possible. Everything is right here and I would love to come back :)!

In the evening there doesn't seem to be a ticket office, just a machine. I consider the aquarium with the shark etc. to be cruelty to animals. That doesn't have to be the case in a cinema and it impairs the cinema experience.

Actually really ok, but there are also shortcomings that the city of Heidelberg does not seem to be entirely innocent of, as it seems to exert enormous structural and temporal pressure on the operator, who could probably let the whole project fail financially, although that Cinema is now at least partially open.

The cinema halls are very tastefully decorated, but there is no such thing in the lobby. Relatively cold and concrete-like ambience.
Unfortunately, the Atmossound is extremely restrained in its capabilities, but this is generally due to Dolby and the mixing of the films.

But what honestly does not work (especially not for families) are the horrendous prices.
I feel sick even as a high earner.
10% advance booking fee of the total price, what for? But that the operator has planning security and needs fewer staff thanks to online bookings?
Then all the additional prices for every invented little thing to make the ticket even more expensive. Honestly, make the effort and download the price list as a PDF from the site. You fall down! You can even add 2.50 as you like, depending on the film, in addition to a number of other surcharges.
No, it can be real that the operator is in financial problems (I can understand, given the circumstances) but he won't get out if nobody goes into his palace, because it's just too expensive. 60 as a family with 2 children is simply way too much to watch a movie once.
Then it's better to collect less and get the house full, because that's zero. Apart from that, nobody needs a gondola lift, which is not opened, in a cinema and 8 parking fee for 2 hours of film, which I am supposed to pay at the machine in the dark (light does not work) either.

However, I still go there sometimes so as not to break the last HD cinema, even though it has just been rebuilt. But not as often as I would go if it were cheaper.

By the way: finally turn on the light in the pool for the poor fish, they are not cave animals!

So, take criticism to heart and implement it, then something will happen

Incredibly expensive entrance fees, hardly any child discounts. Extremely loud sound in the hall. Next time I'll take earplugs with me, otherwise I will suffer hearing damage! Otherwise it has worked out quite well in the meantime. The seats are comfortable and there is plenty of room for the legs.

Is a really great cinema only the staff are not so great

Beautifully decorated. Nice staff and always the latest films. The only drawback is that it is a bit expensive.

Online ticket, 11pm show, 2 people - -> 27.50 popcorn not yet included in the price. Then we saved ourselves. For a cinema in a student city, really violent in my opinion. I prefer to wait until the films are on DVD.

The staff is friendly and the cinema itself is also friendly and nicely decorated.

I'm curious how it will be when the upper floors are open. There are currently two cash registers, both of which are always staffed with long lines. Booking and paying for tickets online and picking them up at the terminal costs extra. So you can't get around in line.
In addition, parking costs something and there is no discount for cinema-goers.
I would like to see more light installed in the aquarium.
Unfortunately, the staff were very overwhelmed and the floor / carpet was a bit dirty, well after the performance was clean again
PS: WiFi would be great and the would-be animal rights activists go in and convince yourself the animals have a lot of space and are kept great !!

Just great :-) Just called the cinema and asked for directions, film reservations etc. The lady on the phone was called Selina. Very very nice, helpful, courteous. Where can you find something like this today, at a time when everyone is just annoyed, stressed and looking for profit. Keep on being Selina. Greetings Thomas

Disappointing dealings with customers! In the morning I had booked and paid for two tickets online for a performance at 3:30 p.m. Unfortunately we were unable to attend the performance at short notice due to a hospital visit. When I called at 3:25 p.m., a friendly member of staff informed me that cancellation and reimbursement of ticket prices was no problem. I should just come over with the online tickets. When I did this in the evening, the employee at the cash register consulted with the company management. Afterwards I was informed that a cancellation could not be made because I should have reported before the performance. I did this! My reference to this was of no use. Result: I still drove to the cinema and had to pay parking fees there - unfortunately, with the promised reimbursement of the ticket prices, it was nothing! See you again at Luxor Heidelberg! Every star is one too many!

The "sharks" is an ambience.
You have no idea, people lagging behind.

Just looked at Tenet 3 times (2 x OV), cinema is very clean, friendly staff, why some complain about the parking garage prices I don't understand you can park free of charge with companies on weekends, ticket prices are normal for a big city cinema come from Munich it is more expensive.

Then don't drive your car to this cinema. There are still trains and buses. A brand new house and off you go with these eternally stupid comments. Better be proud of your city with such a new building.

Have a great selection of films, especially in English which is good. However, in the middle of the movie, the light just went back on and off. In addition, there are no curtains in front of the screens, which takes a bit of Epic out of the movie theater.

The prices are way out of order, the co-workers are slow and not very nice, plus there are not enough parking lots at all ... I would'nt recommend you going there, especially because there are better cinemas near by in Walldorf or Mannheim.

One wonders who has planned such a thing. Everything seems so angled, empty cages (!), On the first floor there are no toilets, but quite a lot of emergency exits. The aquarium looks just scary, the lighting is broken or is that intentionally so dark?

And the biggest joke: you have to walk THROUGH the elevator to get there! And in a new building!
And the biggest impudence at all: for 2.5 hours, which we were in the parking garage for lack of alternative parking, we had to pay 4.80!

I liked very good good connection also parking possibility restaurant integrated ... what I can complain about was the last visit to Sall where we watched the film was very dirty ... it could be that there were staff shortages to this condition ... hopefully it was last times..

Well. I have to admit, the cinema is big, modern and they play a lot of movies. But the prices are too high and it is very loud in the movies. They even have a small underground car park, which you also have to pay ... Will soon go only for a movie that is not going anywhere else ...

A big disappointment. Went here for English OV of Christopher Robin. Tickets are fairly pricey, and the sound was awful in the theatre (scratches, skips, silences). We had to tell the operator several times, but it was only fixed at the last half hour. Apathetic service staff didn't seem to care, nor was compensation offered. On top of this, no free parking for patrons.

Cinema is new, the seats are quite comfortable. But each time you stand for half an hour for popcorn, because only one of 4 switches is open ... And that you have to pay extra for book online, is a joke.

Supplement 02.01.20: catastrophic! Line up outside. 3 cash registers open. One employee is moving in slow-motion, one is standing for 2 minutes at the coffee machine, one has to explain the first to the other the cashier. Had I not got gift vouchers, I would have gone and never returned!

Can't recommend the cinema. Rather drive to Walldorf or Viernheim there you have to pay at least no usury parking fees for a parking garage (from the 2 hours 3.50, despite stamping the parking ticket at the cinema box office).

When ordering an online ticket a mishap happened, but was solved by the staff without great circumstances.

Would like to give zero stars. A cinema in Heidelberg is all well and good, but the needlessness to present sharks in the aquarium is unbeatable

Great cinema, good quality of picture and sound, nice atmosphere. The only thing that is not good is the extreme price. 16 euros plus advance booking fee 1.20 for the Starwars normal in 2D is actually outrageous.

Staff very nice. The interior design convinces all along the line. Especially the big aquarium.

Great cinema prices like everywhere ... no long queues and parking is also outside the parking garage very good.

unhygienic. Probably no one is responsible for temporary workers. The aquarium is cruelty to animals !!! Stairs and hallways dirty. Such a company cannot be run only with temporary workers. Then prefer a small, inexpensive program cinema with atmosphere.

We paid 50.00 for two for a 2D film with food. Parking garage also costs extra!
There are other, cheaper and more pleasant cinemas.

Overall, everything was fine, but you could do a lot better. The picture and sound quality were good.
For the tickets reserved online you have to queue at the normal cash desk. Drinks and snacks are also sold there, so we waited over 30 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. Fortunately we were there early.

Nice new cinema in Heidelberg. The interior is modern.

The integrated underground parking costs extra money. But the operators of the cinema can not do that, because it comes from the city of HD.

The most important thing: the rooms have neat legroom. Otherwise, the cinema is so-so. The fish tank is absolutely superfluous. Nevertheless, all in all better than having to drive to Mannheim or Weinheim.

A huge cinema, only the cleaning and lighting staff seem overwhelmed. We had to look for our seats in total darkness 10 minutes before the performance began

This is for the Cinema not the movie. They played the whole trailer thing with lights on and no sound, then the person next to me told the staff. And next the lights went off but no screen, again he went and said, then the screen was like 3/4 for 45 mins. All the people watching were patient, but then a staff came after 45 mins asking if we are okay watching it like this or do they need to play it from the beginning. This is the first time ever happening to me in my whole life and this is silly.

If you can no longer reserve, paying online should not include fees, then parking fees are unbelievable.

To ask for a 10% surcharge online for the tickets, I think, is quite daring. But then to put the ticket box and the drinks / chips / popcorn box together and then to open only two boxes, then led to the fact that we watched our film in another cinema, since about 5 minutes passed per customer and at least at least 6 people stood in front of us ... We won't come back either :(
