Lutron Electronics Review

In my 20+ years working as a Lighting and Controls guy, no other solution comes close to Lutron. Nothing.

I work in the ELECTRIC field, you can not beat this product.

Lutron is a fantastic company to work with! Customer service is top notch and they are always looking for ways to improve their products!

I called with a question about which dimmers were compatible with which LED lamps. The support person was very courteous, patient, and helpful. She spent 10 minutes on the phone with me explaining various options and considerations. She emailed me all the information so I didn't have to copy down various model numbers. Top notch service.

Awful experience with a sales supervisor (Leslie Pope) during an interview with Lutron for its sales engineering program. She talked down to me by making comments such as "Do you even realize that all of the interviewers and I have to sit in a room and vote for you to get this position?" and blantly saying to my face that she did not think I can handle sales. I have no idea how her condescending comments were supposed to come off as helpful in any way or form. She also made the unwarranted comment that I talked too quickly which she said comes off as aggressive. Finally, she made negative comments about a candidate that she interviewed the day before and said he isn't getting a job with Lutron. It was really unprofessional to bring that up during an interview and says a lot about the kind of supervisor she is, as well as the kind of work environment a person would be involved in with her on your team. It's a shame because I actually really liked Lutron's products, especially its automated shades. I was going to buy these shades for my apartment no matter the outcome of my candidacy but after my conversation with Leslie Pope, I won't be pursuing this product further because of her poor and unprofessional attitude. I recommend looking for job opportunities elsewhere, as all my other final interviews with other companies have been pleasant and offer higher benefits along with none of the unprofessional comments made by Leslie Pope noted above. Overall, this was not my first bad experience with this woman and company but I can promise you that it will be my last.

Absolutely one of the best training facilitys I have ever visited. Lutron brings the world of Lighting and Shade Control into a true reality. They truly immurse you with the Lutron experience center and spend a lot of one on one time explaining who Lutron is, where they came from, how they started, and their future goals. Ansolutely a wonderful experience with almost museum type vibes.

Wage Theft. They aren't paying their contract tech workers.

I called asking which Lutron dimmers in the Diva line had a night light built in. The service rep was very knowledgeable and set me on track right away and gave me the model number, where to buy it, etc. Very helpful!
