A beautiful building and auditorium for a Panto. Jack and the beanstalk was brilliant, laugh a minute good family entertainment. I have already booked up for next new year panto. The cast were amazing and very very funny. Being their on Hogmanay was the icing on the cake,with the cast and audience all holding hands singing Auld Lang Syne. Money well spent.

Love coming to the King's. The shows are always brilliant and the ATG App makes getting snacks pre-ordered for the interval so much easier! Only downfall is the queuing outside to get in. Always turns into a rabble of people trying to push about to get in, which is uncomfortable for my disabled husband.

Was here recently to see la cage aux folles and then the steamie. Both shows were excellent; funny and heartwarming. The venue itself is beautiful inside. All the original cornicing and gilding on the ceiling is lovely to look at. There's a bar but didn't go so don't know what the selection or prices are like. Only downside is that the seats are very close together so not much leg room if you've got longer legs.

Really good show, no parking around the theatre but taxis in Glasgow city centre are quite cheap and you'd pay more in an NCP that what a taxi would cost. Staff in the theatre are friendly and helpful. If you're booking seats try and get ones in the middle, modern shows tend to use the full stage (not just the front as would have been the norm when the theatre was built), seating at the sides of the auditorium may have a restricted view of things happening at the back corners of the stage, but this in no way spoils the atmosphere or enjoyment of the shows. Please be aware that it can get very warm in the grand circle (and probably the other areas too) particularly when shows move into the second act or towards curtain down. Use of mobile phones while the show is on is not allowed (much to the annoyance of the idiot woman in front of us when she got caught videoing one of the routines), people who are considerate and know how to behave in society will have no problem keeping their phones in their pockets while the shows are on, as it can really annoy people behind you when you spend a third of the show either videoing it of taking selfies with a trout pout to send to your boyfriend.
Generally (taking the idiots out of the equation) the Kings is an excellent place to enjoy a show, would have been 5 stars but the heat got a bit to much.

Went to see Let it Be last night, what a great show, fantastic musicians {all 5 of them}
But management get a grip and stop the people holding up mobile phones and filming
for whole songs very distracting, there was even an idiot with a large tablet. These people
have no regard for the persons sitting behind them. That's my moan over ,we still had a great night

The building inside and out is worth seeing... Performance of Rocky Horror was excellent, customer service from staff was first class... 'Price of drinks, was beyond expensive, I could understand if it's to put people off going overboard (which works for me), the cost of ice-cream at the interval was shockingly high though

Went to see Amelie and it was very good. Theatre is huge and I was sitting in the stalls for the first time ever. Sound was pretty good and seats were comfortable. There's a bar for pre and half time drinks,and ice cream sellers at half time too. Theatre is looking a little tired but doesn't matter when the show is so good. All in all an enjoyable experience.

Left the theatre at interval due to very poor sound and performance. Tickets given as present for a show that I have always wanted to see. some 50% of gallery did likewise due to performance that lacked any quality!

Toilets are flithy and really in need of some tlc, purchased drinks vouchers couldn't used them during the show or after meaning we had five drinks each sitting at our feet. Was told to either use them or lose them! Staff however as excellent one many with a larger beard was extremely helpful and even carried our drinks for my fiancee so he didn't miss the show!

Cracking venue but wow, it was unbearably hot in the gallery. Must ve been around 35C.....everyone was fanning themselves with whatever bit paper they had and unfortunately, it was that bad, it ruined the show
(It was only about 10C outside so it would be even worse on a hot day!!)

The theatre is a very nice and beautiful place, I would recommend buying seats in the stalls circle and balcony. We went to see Jack and the beanstalk and we were in the gallery, it's very cramped and warm. Although it was a good veiw. The production was great.
