My children were mistreated at the hope space camp this past summer. I pulled them out immediately.
Awesome huge and they have an amazing young man that plays bass that I was most impressed, flowers for mothers day dancers and many more talented people. Huge roomy and just beautiful little knooks for prayer meditation two separate and even possibly more in side had out door.. and waterfalls in one of worship rooms. And a video camera on the longest boom I have ever seen. I must go back.!

We had the opportunity to attend the 9/12/21 9:30 AM service at the Grimes campus. It was a phenomenal compilation of 9/11 events, memories and God s word. Wish it could go viral and everyone see it. Very impressive and highly recommend. I may just have to follow online since I live in SW Iowa
Hope is a very special place. I was introduced to it by my local dentist years ago. He goes weekly, sings in the choir and teaches adult Bible study. It is huge, and has so many features to offer apart from the main worship area. It is thoughtfully built. The main part of the church, for Sunday and other day worshipping is wonderful. It is very "high tech" and modern looking, yet it has an old church feeling still. The huge cross is amazing. There is a very large stage where the terrific pastors and musicians who sing and play in their very talented band are featured.
The sound quality of the auditorium area is great. It has a very good audio-visual and technical staff who not only tape live and televise online every Sunday, but they also control the fantastic special effects and movie screen which can be used for so many things that fit into the weekly sermon or for other reasons. Hope is very popular with all age groups. It is a very friendly place and everyone who goes there exudes a feeling of kindness and peace, as does their head pastor, Mike Housholder. It has something for everyone, but most of all, a sense of belonging and a sense of welcoming and peace and...hope.
Thoroughly enjoyed the 9:30 am online service this morning! Pastor Householder s sermon touched me deeply and I found myself reflecting on how far I have drifted away from my relationship with God & my savior, Jesus. Thank you for a much-needed renewal! I only wish you were closer to my home in Newton...
I tend to avoid mega churches but their is a feeling of comfort and home that you get when you're here.
Very welcoming. Lots to do. Be as involved as you like. High focus on loving all people and following Jesus. Great place to land for people with hurts or hangups (isn't that all of us). What's not to love. I hate crowds and that can be harder during the holidays here but once you get used to the flow, even that works out fine. Also the holidays are celebrations and aren't formatted like and average worship Sunday. I didn't think we'd like it but we really did try a couple of times and decided it was the place for our family!
