We had an absolutely wonderful experience from the moment our driver met us at the airport through check-out. The renovation of this historic property was thorough, and the interior is now modern and sleek. The staff at the Hotel Lutetia are outgoing, cheerful, polite and helpful. This property can often be overlooked (since it is the only Grande Dame on the Left Bank), but if you want to experience Paris in all its glory, Hotel Lutetia is the place to be. Ask for a balcony room with an Eiffel Tower view, if it s within your budget. Gorgeous marble bathrooms with rain-head showers, as well as tubs and double sinks carved from single blocks of marble quite extraordinary.

We were in the Saint German restaurant and what can I say? It was fantastic. The food, the wine which was recommended by the waiter, the decoration (of the restaurant and of the dishes), the service. The hotel is beautiful, a clean-elegant style and so was the restaurant. The highlight was the dessert which was a real surprise from the creativity and taste point of view (apple with mushroom sorbet), innovative, beautiful and delicious (never had a dessert with mushroom before). I look forward already to our come back.

It's a nice hotel

It's expensive, the spa is nice, the rooms are nice, it's worth it, blah blah blah

But.... The bar. It looks like standard hotel, nothing exciting really. But the barmen, my god... Incredible. I've seen so many barmen over my years, and these guys are the best. I'm not sure if they actually care, but if they don't, they hide it well. They're awesome. They learn your taste, they adapt to it, they give you what you want without you knowing it. They're awesome, they make the difference between a 5 star hotel a *5* star hotel. I will come back here purely because of the barmen. Truly awesome.

Uh la la ! I was treated with a few nights here and it was an amazing stay. The room was not that big, but thats normal in Paris. I tried a couple of different restaurants in the hotel and they were all great! Worth checking out the library bar/area and I was very impressed by the gym, spacious and many options for your work out.

Hotel is excellent... Newly renovated.. The rooms and the common areas are state of the art in technology and finishes... Water pressure in our room was a bit weak... Great location in St Germain... Only let down was breakfast... Most days staff were slow or completely incompetent (one morning we had to order twice after waiting an hour for food to not arrive) but maybe the good staff were away for Christmas break?

Amazing hotel. Beautifully designed, great restaurants (Lutetia Brasserie is a must visit) and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very well designed and sound proof. Great attention to detail from public areas, to restaurants and bars as well as rooms. Excellent quality, thoughtful features and lovely Hermes amenities.

The food was not only great tasting, but was like eating beautifully crafted art. The service was excellent and I can honestly say this restaurant and chef are one of the best in Paris and truly deserve a Michelin Star!

Vibe is very disappointing, place feels like a hotel lobby, with low sitting and lounge music.
Service was very nice, and a great wine collection.
The food was nice, nothing extraordinary, with a few ups and some downs.
The starters of foie gras and ceviche were both nice, same for the mains of burgers and scallops. Desserts were very disappointing (pear, and apple tart)

Love this hotel!! The spa area is so very relaxing, the library is full of hidden treasures, and in the rooms everything works! Also, this place has the fluffiest freshest towels of anywhere else I have stayed at! And that is sooooo satisfying!

Everywhere also smells of Culti Mediterrannea, and I loved it so much that a few months after staying here for the first time, I bought some for my London apartment. So now when I came back to stay, it was almost like coming home!

Also the service here is impeccable, and people do work hard to make your life easier and more enjoyable and I really really appreciate that they do it, and with a smile! Thank you for many relaxing evenings. I need them after my very long days.

One of my favorite places to stay in Paris! It is the only palace hotel on the left bank with tremendous history and stories. This building has been a landmark for the locals for decades and it is located in the heart of Saint Germain right next to Le Bon Marche and Hermes Flagship. For the luxury elites, this could not be a better location. The property went through a completely makeover and extensive three-year renovation. Now it is part of The Set Hotels group. If you have budget, make sure to splurge yourself in the Josephine Baker suite with the open balcony over looking the Tour Eiffel, every detail in the room is simply divine. There are so many amazing suites to stay and explore. The pool, sauna, spa are also spectacular and it is a true sanctuary in the middle of Paris. The team are extremely attentive and helpful, you could expect the best service and most friendly attitude in town, the staff remember me came in for a drink even before the day I checked in! It is the perfect place for an ultimate luxurious retreat!

Stunning restoration of the hotel. The Bar is spectacular and the art that has been beautifully restored. I had lunch at the restaurant, Saint Germain, and I loved the ambience and the food was excellent. Service was smooth and seamless. Loved the hotel in every way.
