Best bakery in the Jamaica/ fresh meadows area , super clean and quality goods. There is a second location in floral park, never been to that store but know it's as quality as the queens location. This place has been on food network, well someone representing the bakery

I've been a customer of this bakery for several years. In the past four weeks, I've patronized the shop three times spending quite a bit of money. However, this review is not about the cost nor the products, which is obviously good otherwise I wouldn't have returned (which is why I gave 3 stars). But, instead I have to review the quality of customer service, which gets worse everytime. I was EXTREMELY annoyed at these "girls" for blatantly ignoring me and taking 3 other customers who they know came after me while I'm patiently waiting to be served. Everytime I attempted to make eye contact or get someone's attention everyone got "busy" staring at each other or the floor. Trust me I wasn't hard to miss or maybe that was the problem. If my coworkers did not love the cakes so much...but enough is enough! I hope when these girls grow up they never have to experience the immature and rude service they provide to others.

I love Lulu s birthday cakes. We got a birthday cake for my dad s birthday from here and it was so tasty. The cake was moist and creamy. They are open 7 days a week which is great for last minute orders. The cake had a creamy chit filling with a soft sponge like cake. And there were berries on the top.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Lulu's. It forever be my bakery spot until I die! Went there when I was younger, got old enough to work there, worked there for a couple years and still always go back!

Charlie, the owner and pastry chef, puts his heart and soul into every thing that is made in that shop. It is absolutely the best pastries I've ever had. Everything I try at another bakery I will compare to Lulu's. What can I say I'm spoiled! I don't eat canolis anywhere else because they just don't taste as good as Charlies!

The shop itself is small but the variety is HUGE! Now, I go to a bakery and the space is huge but the selection isnt. At Lulu's you're bound to find something you like, whether is the morning pastries, cookies, fruit tarts, whole cakes or cup cakes or bread-- trust me you'll find it!

Be sure to try the seven c's if you're a chocolate lover! It's my all time favorite! The strawberry cheesecake is to die for and all things canoli/canoli cream! Absolutely amazing! Love this place, love Charlie and the awesome girls/guys he has behind the counter!

I have ordered custom cakes from Lulu's few times. They are always baked and prepared to utmost perfection. Taste is immaculate as well. Staff is very professional and friendly. I would recommend their bakery for all occasions. By far it's the top-notch bakery in Tri-state area.

Went to Lulus to order a custom birthday cake for a special friend. The owner Charlie was very professional and very nice and did exactly as I asked and even improved my design. The cake was just amazing in every way, the design, and the filling was just to die for. The receipient of the cake loved it and so did everyone who had a piece. Thank you for making this special cake for a special person.

Love this bakery. I prefer it over buttercooky. The prices are awesome, the size of the cake is awesome! I like how the cakes aren t too sweet. Just the right hint of sugar. & the cakes are so pretty. The buttercream is extra fluffy which I love. Will shop here more often!

Pistachio cake is the number one seller here. All other items, including the cake with the chocolate crunch in the middle, are very good as well. Pastries and coffee also available. Best bakery in the 11423/11432.

My wife and I decided to trust Lulu's with our gender-reveal cake for her baby shower... what a big mistake!! When I went to pick up the cake the morning of the baby shower, the staff had left a sticker on the cake box - A BLUE STICKER clearly revealing the baby's gender when we obviously wanted to keep it a secret.

You had ONE job!! :( They completely ruined my surprise and you would think that a bakery who prides themselves on providing such cakes would be more sensible!!

We ordered the chocolate cake, and overall the taste was very disappointing. It tasted like something you'd get from Stop & Shop or Costco, definitely not rich, creamy, and decadent as you would expect from a good bakery; especially considering their prices!

I'm giving two stars because the appearance of the cake was amazing and exactly how we requested it - they definitely nailed this part!

I would not trust Lulu's for a gender reveal cake and would be very cautious about choosing the cake type!!

I really love there desserts... super yummy. I heard they are moving locations and thought it would such a good idea if they went kosher with their desserts. There are sooo many people in the neighborhood who keep kosher and cannot eat at lulus. (Just a suggestion)

Lulu's is my compromise between having to cross county lines to grab just-OK pastries from Marzullo's, or schlep out of my way up Franny Lew to D'Aquila, which the traffic on Northern rarely allows. I like most of their offerings, but they have their shortcomings.

First, the good: Their cassatina is one of the most authentic that I've had outside Sicily. The hazelnut cannoli and sfogliatelle are unbelievable. Their magic is not limited to pastry, either. When I got the Banana-Nutella tart for a family party I won over the crowd immediately.
The Meh: Rainbow cookies were too cakey, part of it is a matter of preference but they weren't what I'd consider authentic. Also, their croissant/cornetto was just off. The crema pasticceria was right, but the actual pastry was heavy and overly sweet, just felt more American-style.

Despite my critiques, they certainly dominate in quality compared to other bakeries in the area. I don't think that Martha's or Buttercooky could measure up to them.

I usually don t do reviews but after 2 frustrating experience I have too. My most recent ordeal was yesterday. I sent an email on February 15th or 16th for a pricing on a birthday cake for my son, a young lady reached out to me on Tuesday February 20th for more details of my order, she said ok we will get back to you with the price by Wednesday or Thursday so I said ok great. No one reached back out to me so I called on Friday to follow up and was told oh we won t have a price until Saturday because the baker hasn t been here. I said ok but why was I told I would get a call back by Wednesday or Thursday if he is on vacation. I then said ok this is frustrating because I already didn t have a good experience back in January and I was trying to give this place another chance. Then I receive an email Friday evening sorry for the delay we are booked for the week . I saw the email an became very upset I reached out to them almost a month in advance and two week before my sons party they send an email that they are booked. Neither young lady I spoke with said this to me. So I called back and asked to speak with the manager he wasn t there so I spoke with Natalie the Assitant Manager and explained everything to her I did not get an apology nor did she try to rectify the situation she told me I could call or come in to speak to the owner the next day in the morning. So I call and another young lady says Charlie isn t here and he is very busy I don t know when he will be here. This place is very unprofessional, stay away don t try to order from here I m sure anyone can find a place with better customer service. I m disgusted!

For first couple of years the baked goods were literally horrible. When I went back about 6 months ago it was abundantly clear they had changed the formula, probably including a new baker. Now it is excellent. Would have given it 5 stars but I've gotta see if it stays on track.

I go to LuLu's at least every other month. If you just want a cup of coffee or a roll with butter this is the place to go. A small quaint little bakery bistro, LuLu's offers a variety of baked goods, cakes and pies. Their milk chocolate chip cookies are the best and everything is made on the premise! LuLu's is pure comfort food at its best. The staff are so nice and pleasant. I always look forward to going there.

I ordered a cake for my son's 21 birthday. One layer was supposed to be custard and the second layers fresh strawberries and custard. When my son cut into his cake he didn't see no strawberries. Lulu's forgot to put the strawberries. The owner contacted me and told me it was a "small mistake"on my part and his not a "big deal". Because the yellow receipt didn't have fresh strawberries but the printed copy did I assume if one copy had it that was enough. The owner said he would refund me 20 dollars for the fresh strawberries. I only paid nine. The money wasn't the issue they need to be more careful. A cake is a big part in someone's occasion. Imagine if this was my wedding cake. My son was disappointed he did even eat his own cake!!!
