Maybe we went on a bad night. Service was terrible and food was sub par. It took FOREVER just to get water and bread. Atleast 30 minutes to an hour. One of my friends order was completely wrong (chicken instead of salmon). When it came, the salmon wasn t even good, he barely ate. I changed the reservation from 5 to 7 people. Somehow it got changed to 7p. Definitely not the same restaurant I visited pre pandemic. Reservation was for 6:30, we didn t leave until atleast 9 because of all the mishaps. People who were their after us, left before us. All of this on my husbands birthday. Very disappointed.

Food was great, we didn't had that great Italian in Cary accept for long time. It was very bust so the service was little slow but it was understandable.
But overall we loved it it made my Mothers day special.thanks

A really nice space, light jazz in the background. My wife had the pork chops and I had the scallops; both were excellent. The bread was great! Prices were standard for a good dinner. Staff friendly and capable.

A little more upscale Italian dining with friendly and attentive staff. I ordered the chicken Parmesean which was very tasty but the bed of pasta was comically small. Considering the extremely cheap price of pasta for restaurants, it seemed a strange thing to skimp on. Other than that very small issue, great experience

Worth writing a review just finishing dinner so I don't miss telling about our experience. Service outstanding! The Manager (Tim) i guess that's the name the waitress said is surely hands on. You could know he is in charge as soon as you walk in, present on the floor ensuring everyone is well taken care of. Food was great, my daughter finally preferred something more than Olive Garden. Give it a try, you won't regret!

Fantastic food, great environment and drinks. Great place to bring the family for something special. Or if you have they money to spend.

Cons: literally only the prices of food.

Squid ink pasta with Lobster was delicious! Our server was very attentive, very efficient. Whole experience was delightful!

Had a birthday celebration here a few weeks ago. This is the first time I ve been to a Lugano s since November 2019. I had a WONDERFUL experience on that occasion another family event. This time was very disappointing.

We waited for 40 minutes to get WATER!!! Our waitperson was either inexperienced or overwhelmed. It took forever to place our order, get cocktails and our food. When the food arrived, the order of one of the people in our party was wrong despite the fact that she repeated everyone s orders.

I spoke with the manager and he intervened by sending a couple of people to help. They were pleasant, but not much better than the waitperson. It took about 10 minutes to get requested ground pepper and grated Parmesan cheese.

And the food. The bread was GREAT! My tortellini? Not so much.

Perhaps this was an off night all around. I m not rushing back though to try again.

Lugano Ristorante was fantastic. Food was delicious and we loved the atmosphere. Very professional staff. Will go again!

Well I must say the good was amazing!!! My only issue was the service was a little slow. But all in all we enjoyed the experience and will be coming back again soon!!!
