This is an excellent place to get costumes. They rent, but I liked my costume so much I bought it because it was reasonalby priced. Their rental prices are reasonalbe too. Anyway, highly recommended.

The best place to go for any of your Halloween or dress up needs. My wife and I have been going there for years. Whether you are piecing your costume together or need to buy or rent the whole thing they have everything you need.

Employees and manager was very rude and wouldn't refund the order even though it was extenuating circumstances. I never even took the costumes from the store and there were about 10 other costumes that were exactly the same. Definitely won't be going back ever.

This is one of my favorite stores in all of Austin, and definitely what makes it eclectic. No matter what item I'm looking for, whether it be trench coats, male boots, accessories, or full, high-quality costumes, Lucy in Disguise with Diamonds always comes through.

This place is a cosplayers dream and a Halloween lover's favorite area. If you haven't visited yet, definitely check out their stock. Their staff is insanely friendly and helpful, and everyone really seems to love what they do. Overall, there is a lot of reason to visit and you definitely should if you're ever in the area for a real quality costume.

this store kind of creeps me out. maybe its the dank smell of thousands of used costumes that were probably sweated through and through on halloween. maybe its the darkish atmosphere. i'll just make my own costumes, thanks.

Probably the most popular costume store in austin located on south congress. you can by and rent almost anything that you could want. everything's really stuffed in there and some of it's kinda gross though.

Great selection on a wide variety of costumes including well-made, unique, and one of a kind pieces for any event. The staff is diverse which gives the shopper lots of different tastes, opinions, and perspectives. They were all very helpful! I was looking for a last minute Victorian/Steampunk outfit for The Edwardian Ball in San Francisco and I only had about 30 minutes to get it figured out and the entire staff came together to help me select, size, try on, and check out. You can rent or purchase at this store. I chose to buy, which is a little on the pricey side but the item I bought was well made with high quality materials. I spent $160 for an outfit, but the same outfit could be rented for $35, which is a reasonable price for the item. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a specific, unusual, or unique ensemble, or if you have no idea what you want it is also a fantastic place to browse through and there are plenty of wonderful staff members that are willing to help you!

There is a costume for everyone in this place. The staff was attentive but not pushy and very helpful with ideas and tips. I would live taking the whole day just to try on all the uber cool costumes and imagine being that persona!! Gotta visit thus place. Amaze-balls!!!

This is THE place to go for costumes!! I was so impressed by their selection, it really blow me away. Their service is super friendly and attentive. They always check on you and help you find exactly what you need. Ended up spending a lot more than I expected there, and very happy with my purchase. Totally worth it! =)

Wow, what a place! It is impossible to put this "costume store" into words - Austin staple - must see! The staff were extremely helpful, helping customers to put together custom outfits. I thought the prices were extremely reasonable for the quality.

This seems like a go-to if you have an event requiring costumes. I didn't even buy anything but the staff is very friendly and they have LOTS of stuff.

The biggest costume shop we've ever seen, and it's open all year round... Not just on Halloween. We asked the staff if they were always sold out on the day after Halloween, but they told us... And I believe them... That they have such warehouse space that the shelves are still well stocked even on the big day. That's impressive.

This is the best costume store that I ve been to in years. The selection here is much better than the ones at the grocery store or thrift stores. I ve come here a couple times to browse before, but for Halloween, this was my first choice to go to.

There s a wide selection of costumes, accessories, and jewelry to choose from. Many of the items there are available to rent / buy. They have dressing rooms with staff to assist you. From Dracula to Santa Claus, I think you can probably find what you re looking for.

My only only complaint is sizing. I couldn t always find my size in certain costumes. Someone probably got to it first, but I made do with what I could find. :)

There is a LOT here... it's almost overwheleming, but if you're looking for it- they probably have it. My other biggest issue, besides my own anxiety about being surrounded by so much stuff, is that it's kind of expensive.

Yes! I love this place. I love the selection, always helpful staff and even adore the funky old-slightly moldy BO costume smell. I wish that I was a man, so that I could become a drag queen so that I could strut around this store for unreasonable periods of time without having to have an excuse, or relative sanity and bodily shame. Either the perfect or most tragic place to have an acid trip - I still haven't decided.

SO MUCH FUN! They even give you the option to keep your rental if you can't live without it.

Just a big old bundle of holiday fun. These costumes are home-made, high-quality, and ready to mingle. They are fun-loving, passionate, and at times a bit sassy, but they are more than redeemed by their eagerness to try new things. For example, I once got a cat in the hat hat, cowboy chaps, and a bumblebee suit all at once and they worked great together. 5/5, would call again.

I was truly amazed at the amount and large assortment of vintage clothing and costumes to choose from. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a welcome and a smile. Told them what I was looking for and right away we were taken to the 70's area and we're given lots of assistance and advice. We were truly satisfied and plan to return again.
