I wanted to like this winery but the wines were not complex and the people there were rather cliquy. That includes the staff. I rated it as a one and that s generous. There are many better wineries out there!

We were told we didn t need a reservation a few days before we planned on showing up, came with 10 people and were told we needed a reservation and they wouldn t accommodate us because of our size. The older woman who met us in the parking lot could not have been more rude to our party, who was celebrating a 30th bday party! We left immediately, don t bother going here!

We stop in during summer and fall for the grown up version of wine slushies! Delicious!

The wines were amazing here and staff was friendly. Plenty of options to choose from.

My wife and I met when we were students at Cornell, and so it was only natural for us to come back and have our wedding in 2015 in Ithaca. When we lived there, we enjoyed wine-tasting, and Lucas was a favorite of both of us. We decided to order our guest favors from them in the form of bottles of Tugboat Red and Tugboat White with personalized labels. It was simple to order online, and the labels came out exactly how we had planned, with the cases ready to pickup on time. The staff was friendly and helpful, and provided us with various discounts based on the amount of wine we purchased. Our guests loved having a bottle to drink in their hotel rooms or to travel back with and enjoy later, and we're still getting compliments on our good taste a year later. Would recommend Lucas to anyone looking for a personal touch for their event.

Terri was amazing! She provided friendly conversation and a great way to tour through the wines. Lucas will always be my favorite winery in the Cayuga Region. It is a must visit!

Stung by a wasp on the patio. Wasp nest in clear view in the top corner right next to the door. Take care of your grounds.

Holiday Shopping Spree 2017 : the mulled cider when we walked in was delicious, and we loved the nautical theme so we expected to have a great time and leave with lots of wine! The food pairing was very good, a spinach artichoke appetizer with their holiday wine. That was where the good experience stopped. The young blonde (she didn't introduce herself so we didn't get her name) doing the actual tastings was very rude from the start. She spoke really fast when we walked up (despite no one being before of after us) and when I couldn't follow and asked for clarification, she said "Ugh, like I JUST said: you can use initials or exes and ohs" to denote whose wine choice was whose. Regardless, her rude, careless and standoffish attitude made our experience awkward and terrible. I wanted to ask for advice on the wines but she was so rude I felt incredibly uncomfortable. The wines were okay, and we would have bought three just because of the nautical theme, but I just wanted to leave after the way we were treated. Awful, don't waste your time.

My wife and I stopped on a trip and had an excellent time. Super friendly staff and great wine.

Lucas puts Finger Lakes wines on the map. They have both great wines and a sense of humor. They have a nautical theme in their products with the "Nautie" series of wines, such as "Miss Chevious" which feature both great wine and the pictures of the ladies on the labels are family. Their TugBoat Red is a great table wine, though somewhat on the sweet side, rather than dry. A consistent quality and reasonable price makes Lucas our go to winery.

Definitely our favorite. We were warmly greeted when we entered. There were separate tasting tables so we received a lot of information on the wines we were trying. We gave high scores to all the wines we tried. We loved the wine slushy.

Best crackers of all the wineries around. Great little spot with a solid wine tasting for just $3!

I love this place! Staff is friendly, and the scenery is beautiful. It may not be right on the lake but it's worth a stop.

Top shelf experience. It always is. Wine tasting is good. Shop has plenty of variety. Service is great. Courtney and Dana made the trip worthwhile. Would recommend Lucas to anyone.

We love Lucas Vineyards! They have great staff and tasty wines. Their gift shop has unique items. The view is gorgeous! I highly recommend a visit.

Called ahead and asked if it was ok if a group of 10 brought outside food. Was told yes. Arrived and was met at the door being told they couldn t accommodate us and that there was no way we called them. I read off their number to her and the girl had nothing to say. Really disappointing.

This winery has a great boat theme with beautiful views. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Tugboat red was our favorite wine.

Came here on my honeymoon. It was very busy due to some outdoor event they were having. We tried twice to get up to a counter for a tasting, but were only able to after another group became frustrated and left. The 'bartenders' were shouting the wine profiles to us over the din of people and were obviously exhausted. Also, the whole nautical theme seemed a bit forced.

I think it would be a bit better if it wasn't so crowded. The wine was really excellent. I think that based on the great views from the winery and the variety of flavor alone, it would get 5 stars but the crazy atmosphere and small wine samples detracted from the overall experience. I would buy a bottle in the store, but I probably wouldn't go back.

Disappointing. Found this winery to be cheap, unkind and unprofessional. Wines taste cheap.
Fun marketing concept and nice property. That s all they have going for them. Don t waste your time here. There are many other wonderful wineries in the Finger Lakes!

The BEST wine slushies in the finger lakes, and for that matter, the planet! We also love their Cabernet Franc...oh! and the Syrah...and now that I'm thinking about it their Riesling is really fantastic...and the Seyval Blanc is fabulous! And then there's...

We love the wine. The Lucas family does a great job. And the case club party is a very generous give back to their loyal customers.

Stopped by to taste some reisling's, have had them before. Ended up buying The Blues and 2 semi-dry reislings. Enjoy the wines. Many types to choose from.

First stop on our Holiday Cayuga wine tour. Tasting room building has beautiful vista like views of Lake from outside venue. Tasting room has a boardwalk/beach appeal to it with decor much might like one would imagine in a lighthouse by the shore. Our wine attendant was fun and bubbly and was very generous with our sampling s. Enjoyed this as a kickstart to our tasting day along Cayuga!
