These cops are idiots. They do not know what the 1st amendment is. Harassing a photographer in public. Also, they think they can just walk up to people and demand ID. That's a 4th amendment violation. Unlawfully detaining people without articulating suspicion of a crime, for the sole purpose of demanding ID. Pathetic police dept.
Sgt rodgers is a stellar example of a untrained or just flat out stupid employee. Too see a representative of your department try to violate the rights of a citizen on public property in this day and age is pathetic. You serve to further the disconnect with actions like that.

The Lubbock Sheriffs officers are always there for the community. They understand everyone is just a human and sometimes things go wrong and they always try to see the full picture, I really appreciate them and everyone in the background too.
