Great place to work out. Great programs for kids, very helpful staff.
My insurance pays for my membership gym is never crowded never have to share machines
I am only giving 1 start because it not allow for 0 stars. I would not send my worse enemy to the camp or the before or after care program. The only good person there is James in the after and before care. Otherwise they do not pay attention to the children it is a big money scan. If you late on any payment they are harassing you for payment. Even though I called and or waited in long line to make payment. But once they owe you money you wait over a month for refund check. I am so grateful for pulling my child out this program. Any other Y is amazing the Fairless hills location is horrid. Zero stars for you YMCA Fairless Hills. Also wanted to put in here that they are trying to get people in by giving free memberships and tickets to the NJ adventure aquarium.
I am pulling my child from the summer camp at Cabrini. From what my child has told me and I have personally witnessed, it appears they are running a child fight club. My child has attended for 3 to 4 years now and the latest group of kids and counselors have made me concerned for my child's safety. Staff is either incapable or unwilling to deal with the children causing the fights. I witnessed a 7-8 year old child held down and punched in the face several times by another child, with a counselor who witnessed it. No signs of concern or outrage and when asked if the counselor witnessed the incident they said, "yeah, happens all day long."
I have always loved this place was like a second home for me. However paying $30-$50 a month for JUST the sauna is ridiculous
Pick up your phone!!! Seriously. Answer your phones so that people can join or ask questions. I've called like 5 times now and no one answers.
Great place to bring the family. My daughter takes swim lessons here allowing use of the other offerings they have. Fitness center is up to date.
Held my daughter's 1st birthday party here and they were very accommodating to the fact that much of our party arrived late and caused us to leave a little late as well. The staff was really nice. The facility could be a little nicer but it is an older building.
It's a freakin great place!!! Everyone knows your name and it feels like family!!!!!!!!!!!
Love this YMCA! Staff always helpful. They are expanding so it's the perfect time to become a member at the YMCA of Bucks County! They offer child care and child watch, classes, pool, gym, pt, camps, support groups, financial aid for gym memberships and camps. I have been a member for almost 14 years.
Always a friendly smile behind the check in counter. Cant wait for the upgrades to begin in 2 years.
Great facility with lots of recreational and fitness possibilities throughout.Great way to connect with people looking to serve similar personal interests in an affordable way.
Has many activities for young and old. Although membership is more costly it has it's advantages Because of so many benefits.
Love the convenience of where it is and all I can do there
They have the most unprofessional staff and the most unorganized staff I have ever seen in my life not sure how people trust their kids with these people
This is a great place for a family to exercise. They have a great pool and programs for seniors as well as kids check it out
Great place. Family friendly. there is room for improvement. Nice staff
I loved going to the Y when I was able, I had to cancel my membership because of a medical issue. When the pandemic came & they closed I was really disappointed that they still charged my husband's credit card for the time they were not open. In my opinion they should have put stop charging everyone because they were closed.
It's a Y, so don't expect an LA Fitness atmosphere, can't really elaborate any further than that. This one is on the older side, could use an update, as you can see the facilities are getting a little crusty.
But then again, it's a Y, so you get what you pay for.
They do have a lot of activities and services to offer, and the cost is reasonable.
The administration staff is a bit young and inexperienced, they mean well, but I don't think they are well versed or trained in the special needs and concerns of parents of small children.
The actual instructors of the classes are great though.
Parking, and getting in and out of this place is a pain in the butt. Get there early if you want to get a spot and not have to spend 20mins looking for one.
Check out YMCA B4 PUTTING MONEY OUT THEY MAY TAKE UR MEDICAL INSURANCE.
The first day we signed up for a membership I was over impressed with the two ladies that were up front and their positive, happy, go-lucky attitudes. We decided to get a membership to work out at but mostly to use for their pool for our 3 kids. Let me tell you that this YMCA pool area/staff is not suited for kids. They have a tiny area to swim. There is not enough
"family times" offered during the week in order to be able to go. Lastly, when there was literally only 1-2 adult people in the pool they would not let my 3 year old in the pool without a grown up despite her fully equipped with a floatie. I am a parent that is a present parent. My 3 year old has been in many different pools with this same device to swim all by herself and never once a problem. However, I was choosing to overlook it since this is a facility. Regardless, no one was in the pool and this one time they couldn't just at least give her 15 minutes to swim. Their family times are late at night as it is so it would have been too late for me to go back home, get a shower and suited up and then bring her back. She was also very rude to my other kids. They told me that it seemed like she just hates kids since she was nice to the older people. With the size, and amount of rules they have for this pool I would not recommend to anyone with kids. I've been to another YMCA right near Souderton which is AMAZING and does a wonderful job catering to kids. Comparing this to that...it's like night and day.
Love this place. Exercise machines are new and top notch, great pool, but they need to keep the office doir closed to keep the a/c in the office and not blowing across the deep end off the pool. Also could use some heat in the locker rooms. Cold coming out of the pool, showers, etc. Other programs for all ages
Good buy, gym, pool steam, sauna, classes. The building is old and there is NEVER enough parking
I highly recommend not sending your kids hear the staff are absolutely terrible.
Okay! all they have to do is have more for young girls and boys they dont have girls basketball camps boys camp nothing but only adults really:-(
My kind of Happening Place n exercise place to be too
So many amenities to keep active with the family, lots of programs for after school and skill development!A sure win at a fraction of the cost of most clubs!
They offer a lot of different classes. No need to sign up for each class. Sign up to be a member and when the class you want to take is on the schedule go on up! I very much enjoy going. If you have state insurance I recommend going, it covers you
Variety, nice, clean, pool, large/clean ladies locker room...pool could be warmer & wished it was open 24 hrs or would be 5 stars
Nice people all of a sudden they dont guve us goggles to borrow what is the matter wuth that?
O offered me a swimming position I'm in the middle of something right now I will consider
Great place to go swim and work out, however, the pool is over chlorinated, I definitely recommend thoroughly showering and washing hair immediately after swimming here.
The thing that happened to us this Sunday shocked me. A woman who teaches water aerobics is ill-mannered and she is disgusting. She screamed at our children. She does not have the right to do this. However they did nothing wrong. Children have nowhere to swim when doing aerobics classes. I'm not sure if we will return there.
Great people fun instructors and a great place to be able to start the New Year in getting back in shape
The Y is great they are doin all they can to make sure you are safe n give you cleaning spray bottles to wip down the machines...
It has a nice swimming pool & the fitness center is very clean.
Used to be an economical place for people whose budgets weren't big enough for Big gyms like Planet Fitness and crunch but now it's just as expensive as any other gym with a lot less modernization
Love this Y. We re members in VA and they welcome us and our kids whenever we visit. Awesome child care section, old iron weight room, modern machine and cardio room, pool, steam room and sauna.
Love their swimming classes. My very reluctant in the pool granddaughter came away excited about going to the next class. Instructors were patient and kind.
Way to go Betsy. Great Zumba class!! No problems when everyone knows what to do by reading scheduled classes. Yeah!!!! No problems
Great place to swim all year long and it gets everyone in the family getting healthy activity together!
Summer camp was a sham and poorly handled an incident with their own counselors along with not refunding back any money after incident...horrible camp structure setup on the backs of kid counselors to help take off their responsibility.... i would never send my child to their camps but the facility and staff in front are awesome.
Fairless Hills YMCA is a great place to workout and other activities for the whole family! You dont have to deal with all the loud 'craziness' other gyms have! Its definitely more of a family place.I feel extremely comfortable here. They also have super friendly, & very helpful staff.
Great staff and doing the best they can. I hear they have a new location in the works can't wait
Excellent experience and community service throughout the years.
We love this YMCA. My daughter goes to child care here and the staff is wonderful! She loves her "school".
Just got a membership here and only the front desk staff seem nice. The others seem annoyed to be there and will act like you are not there. I don t think I will let staff watch my child in the child room, doesn t give me a good vibe. Maybe after some more time I will update my review.
I go 2 or 3 times week for the aquatic, arthritis sessions....very helpful for my condition
