Took 3 brand new skier and 2 moderate skiers. Doug with the ski lesson was great getting us situated. Murph was patient with our big group getting all the rental equipment and Mitchell did a great time teaching our 11yr old, 9yr old and 7yr old new skiers. Thank you so much for making their day great.

This is a great place to ski if you re looking to avoid the annoying ski resort frills and focus on skiing/snowboarding. Parking is close to the lift and if you go into overflow, there s a free shuttle that basically drops you off right at the lift. Loveland has a lot of runs, and a few no-beginner lifts which can be great during a busy weekend.

I went up in April. Super accessible, with a good variety of slopes for all levels of skiers/snowboarders. Awesome views! Affordable prices. The staff was super friendly and chill. I spent the day on the bunny slopes in "The Valley" teaching my buddies how to board, so I couldn't explore much. But I'll definitely be back, explore the whole park, and give the 5th star.

Ever wanted to ski over i70? At Loveland you can rip turns directly over cars rushing through the Eisenhower tunnel.

How about having the tips of your skis on snow destined for the Pacific while your tails rest on frozen water that will eventually join the Atlantic? At this resort you can straddle to continental divide and do just that!

Overall, Loveland is a fantastic locals mountain. But it's also a Colorado classic well worth taking the time to visit from out of town even though it is independent of both Ikon and Epic. A great choice for families and beginners but also not lacking in big and gnarly terrain. In addition to being a great resort, it's proximity to Denver and it's reasonably priced lift tickets make Loveland a smart move

skied at Loveland during Christmas and on February. super friendly staff and very nice snow. during the Christmas visit, there are about 70% of slopes were open but 100% during my February visit. great powder and long runs. rarely had any long line at the lifts, 5 minutes wait at the most.

Loveland is doing a fantastic job with outdoor food served inside a tent during these Pandemic times. Look for Joe in the tent behind the counter to serve your food enthusiastically.. breakfast burritos, homemade green or red chili and perfect salads.... then go up the stairs where you can eat inside at the many spaced tables

First season ever being at Loveland and I am absolutely having a blast exploring Also seems like all the staff on the mountain from lifties, ski patrol, to the guys in the tune / retail spots, are all very happy with their positions as they are all super helpful and kind. Love how easy it is to access this mountain under an hour from Denver where I'm at. No reservations needed this year for covet cheap tickets and season passes. All around I am in love with Loveland!

Loveland ski area is amazing! It is so beautiful and peaceful! Staff are super nice and are very helpful! Food was amazing but now that COVID hit most of the food things are shut down including the deli. Masks are required when in line but guidelines are loose. My family and I always have a blast and it is relatively cheap. But still has the same amazing experience! Lessons are wonderful and the coaches are super calm and ready to help! I would completely recommend this mountain to ski and snowboard! The Loveland pass is also amazing! It has beautiful views and is a great experience! You should definitely try it!!!! Hope this helps!

This is my first season back after MANY moons away from the slopes. I picked Loveland because it was the easiest to get to from where I live, and it was a small non glitzy resort. I could not have made a better choice. I have been out quite a few times, the last time being on the 13-14th of February, 2021. When people say "Loveland has no lift lines," they are talking about days like valentines day. You could literally go anywhere, on any lift, with virtually zero wait. There is enough terrain for people of all levels. Be aware, some of the blue runs here would be black runs at other resorts. My family took lessons back in December and our instructor was great! (I wish I could remember her name, she was from Poland!) I have nothing but good things to say about my experiences so far!
