I had an absolutely fantastic day with Louisa. We had the chance to choose between a bangle or a ring and a wide choice of finishes/effects. It was a really hands-on experience with the opportunity to complete every stage of the process. It was a really great introduction to all of the techniques involved. The whole day was a really enjoyable experience with a delicious lunch included and I came away with a gorgeous bangle.
Had a wonderful day at one of Louisa s workshops before Christmas. Completed a lovely silver bracelet and really enjoyed making it. Louisa was always on hand to help and made us a delicious lunch as well! Totally recommend doing a workshop...you will not be disappointed! Can t wait to do another day myself!
I have had a selection of bracelets made by Louisa - re-using an old piece of jewelry that i never wore but treasured. Louisa had a enthusiastic and creative approach which made the whole experience a total joy.
Lousia's work is terrific - she made me a wedding ring and hit the brief spot on. I wanted a simple, understated piece with the quality of craftsmanship that is difficult/impossible to find on the high street/online market. She has a great studio to visit with a good selection of pieces to help you decide on what you want. Excellent communication throughout. I thoroughly recommend.
Louisa is super helpful and I really enjoyed the ring making workshop I attended just before Christmas. Every stage of the process was explained really clearly and you had a lot of options to make it your own. I loved the different techniques we were shown and I came away with a ring I love and wear every day. Also the lunch was delicious which is always a plus!
I am more than delighted with the beautiful set of three stacking rings that Louisa has made for me. I took her a collection of bits and pieces that I knew I would never wear again and she turned them in to exactly what I would have imagined. I love knowing that the gold and stones all have history whilst I now have a contemporary set that I will wear and wear. The whole process was simple and exciting, from our initial meeting to discuss the possibilities through the design and provision of three hand painted designs to collection last week. I would highly recommend Louisa who is obviously very talented. Definitely a case of new treasures from old!!!
Thoroughly enjoyable time spent with Louisa making silver rings and bracelets as an introduction into jewelry making. Great facilities, patient tuition, delicious lunch. Very rewarding experience
