What a nice hotel it was! I was fascinated and delighted with this five-star hotel that I went with during my two days' leave. All of their furniture and amenities were classy and elegant. I felt like I was a one-day billionaire living in a place full of happiness and calmness. The valet that was meant for me happened to be so loyal and humorous. Also, the housekeeper was showing the curved on their lips even if they had a busy day. Because of my satisfaction and contentment, I would book in their hotel again sooner. Thanks!

It is a very well located hotel! Easy access to all points of interest. The reception staff is wonderful, super attentive and helpful !! Deserve note 10. But the hotel leaves something to be desired for breakfast !! It is very different. It even deviates from American standards. At that point they need to know that they don't like guests.

What a treasure in the middle of downtown. The hotel is excellent, with cute decor in the rooms and nice views of downtown. The bathrooms aren't fancy, but they're totally functional. Breakfast was excellent: standard continental, but of high quality. Chilaquiles, fruit and yogurt, oatmeal, pastries, along with bacon, sausage, homefries, eggs, and pancakes. The space was gorgeous as a wedding venue, and all of the athletic facilities were beautiful. The pool and track really feel special up on the 6th and 7th floor, and it is nice to find quality squash and racquetball courts. The only tricky but is that parking is separate from the main hotel, so if you need to grab something from the car, you have to take to elevator trips and go over a couple small flights of stairs.

This place was absolutely wonderful to stay! The staff was absolutely amazing and so willing to help. Our room key stopped working so we used the hall phone to call down to the front desk and they sent someone up with new keys! The brakefast was also absolutely amazing and in and amazing restaurant atmosphere. This place was extreamly elegant and was a joy to be there! They upper deck looked over downtown L.A. which was amazing at night! We spent a lot of our time up there just enjoying the view. I would most definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others you will not be disappointed!

New staff sucks. I love all the old staff. It makes the place more enjoyable and flow better. I spoke to this blonde woman close to olive for assistance and she was extremely arrogant and rude. Plus she had no right to. She was a bimbo. I have no idea how she acquired that job

I absolutely love this place & I'm so thankful for hearing about them & becoming a member. Katrina is our go to person as she's all knowing & amazing! Mo's group classes are awesome & I'm becoming so much stronger because of him. I highly recommend his 6am kettlebells class! Benita is also a wonderful instructor & her Thursday morning stretch class on the rooftop brings me so much peace of mind; it's like meditating, but better. Besides the gym aspect, LAAC has so many useful & awesome features to offer its members; I can't wait until they're fully operational like they used to be. If you're thinking about joining, stop & just do. You won't regret it & you can thank me later.

Well located hotel in downtown LA. Good fitness facilities and buffet breakfast. We were in the cheapest room which was a bit small compared to other US hotel rooms but it was clean and comfortable.

WOW-what a place. The rooms are well appointed. There is a lot of parking and the price is reasonable ($12 per day). The resterraunt and bar and very good. Plus all the athletic stuff (Olympic sized pool, basketball/vball court.squash courts, handball/raquetball courts, spinning classes, etc, etc). I love staying here and the price is right.

Stellar service which started before I checked in. I was called by a young lady I failed to get the name of and she arranged for my rooms to be near each other and gave us an upgrade. The bellman were outstanding helping us move our rented table clothes from one car to another and storing i them overnight. Thank-you!

We got a suite on the top floor. It was a constant 78 degrees in there. We were told they recently renovated the top floor and messed up on the insulation. It's a shame I really wanted to love it.

Stayed better for two nights. The place is fabulous. Staff is so friendly , breakfast is superb and the room is clean and well stocked and the bed was super comfy. Its on the pricey side but if you're a member or have a family member who is the rates are the best in down town LA for the amenities you get here. Three gym kokks great and comes with a stay but I didn't use it. Definitely my go to place when in Los Angeles.

The LAAC is always a preference. Whether you choose to stay in for a night of solitude, relax and get lost on a bed of pillowy extacy , enjoy the many amenities, be accommodated by pleasantly helpful staff or enjoy a night out and about the lovely Down Town Los Angeles to enjoy the diversity and eclecticness

LAAC is now so much better than a few years ago! I was a member here until about 5 years ago when it was dilapidated, in a sorry state: the jacuzzi in the men's side was not working and the lockers were gross. Now, the lockers are new and the jacuzzi is hot with strong jets. Some of the older workers were still there, and they actually remembered us. My only suggestion is to get better towels because they can easily replace sand papers.

4 stars because of the weight room. The weight room is small with old equipment, mediocre at best. The rest of the club is great. The bathroom is spacious and accommodating. The spa is also very nice. I came here as a guest, but wouldn't pay the membership fee they are asking for because of the weight room.

The building itself is so so cool. There's so much to explore here and so many offerings - restaurants, cafe, gym, bar... All nestled into a very cool looking building with different aesthetics on each floor. Staff is nice here and the room I'm staying in is... Fine. The bed is very cozy but the appliances and general maintenance of the whole room feels very old and unkempt. Not dirty or anything, just meh.

The LAAC is a fantastic hotel and athletic club that allows non members to stay at the hotel and use their facilities. The indoor pool, basketball court, training facilities were a hit. The hote room I stayed in was nice, though the bathrooms could use a bit of a renovation. Also the bar/restaurants on site were great. If you are staying there on a Friday be sure to check out the speakeasy. They let me check it out for photos even though the bar was not open. Note that this is located in downtown LA; it can be a bit rough outside in the evenings, but it is in close proximity to the convention center and Staples center.

This is my home away from home when I m in Los Angeles, which is a lot given my work. The staff is chill, hip, and overall very attentive. The rooms are really well put together. They have that old school charm with new school comforts like STUPID comfortable beds. I would come back just for the beds. Not gonna lie.

I am also a member of the fitness club which has to be the best workout experience downtown LA.

The only downside is downtown is a dump, but that s not LAAC s fault. In fact, they are a beacon fabulous amidst the madness of those nasty streets.
