While a bit understaffed at times in the office, I'm able to get questions answered in a timely fashion every time. The Scout Shop next door is full of knowledgeable CSRs that are basically an extension to the main office personnel. Always a pleasure to associate with the people here, even though I rarely get out of there without being a little lighter in the wallet.

One of the unique features of the Longhorn Council is its Texas High Adventure Base. This base offers Scouts a chance to experience high-adventure activities such as rock climbing, rappelling, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, and more. The base also provides training for adult leaders who want to lead their own high-adventure trips.
