Stayed in a Wilderness Suite in August of 2020. The rooms are clean considering they're just big tents and most of the Suites have amazing views of the surrounding forest from their decks. The staff here are great and really want to make your experience memorable. Each Wilderness Suite comes with heated blankets and a floor heater which helped as we had a few rare chilly August nights. The hiking trails on the site are very well maintained and there's a brewery, apiary, bistro-type restaurant, zip line, observatory & ax throwing on site! The restaurant patio has an incredible view of the marshlands. There's also the Burning Kiln Winery & restaurant within walking distance to check out. I would highly recommend staying at Long Point for those looking to spend some quiet time in nature without the "roughing it" experience (having a full bathroom, shower, kettle, fridge, electricity, etc. was great)

I needed an outlet during family holidays and so rented a bike from these folks and had a great ride around them at Turkey point. The bike was a great option for the terrain (Rocky Mountain hardtail 29er) and was well tuned and ready to go, though the cockpit setup was way off for me...oh well. They even had an XL for me. Maybe a tad pricy at $50ish for a few hours. Included a good helmet, which came in very necessary once!
Trails around it in the Turkey Point area are fun. Ones at the West region by the Long Point hub I feel are better, but there are not as many. They are in perfect condition though; not rooty or sandy, etc. I did a good sampling of the NE ones as well, and they're fun too, but more sandy spots (sent me OTB once), and there is so much winding back and forth in these trails that it gets disorienting and annoying. They really pack them in to get maximum trail. Nothing here deserves a black rating in my mind, and I'm an average ability rider, but I didn't ride all the blacks. The trail ratings seem like they're a good measure for parents taking their kids out, but not for experienced riders. I feel however that even veteran riders can have some fun ripping around in here at higher speeds.

We stayed 2 nights in the beautifully appointed wilderness suites with our 2 kids and had an amazing time. We aren't camping people and found the suites are very comfortable, with private bathrooms and showers, there is a mini fridge, fan, heated blankets for cool nights and a tea kettle and french press plus they give you lovely locally made soap, shampoo and conditioner. The suites lock up so your belongings are kept safe. There is a beautiful patio with views of the Marsh and they have BBQs you can use and activities such as axe throwing, mountain biking, kayaking and zip lining ( which was closed due to COVID ) plus there are tons of great hiking trails all around and Turkey Point beach is a short 5 -10 min drive away. The Burning Kiln Winery is right across the street and they have great wine and a fantastic restaurant.
The staff are absolutely fantastic. They are welcoming, friendly and do everything they can to accommodate their guests. Shout out to Ben for setting up our camp fire and giving us a great explanation of the stars and Shout out to Dave for giving us the history of the marsh!
Would definitely go back! Great vacation spot for families.

Long Point Eco Adventures offers the ultimate glamping experience. It is nice to enjoy the beach and outdoor activities in the area and return to a hot shower and king size bed in the evening! The private outdoor shower offered a neat experience of being able to shower under the stars. The tent came equipped with a mini fridge as well as a fan so it wasn't too hot, at night when it cools down the bed featured heated blankets. It also featured a winery across the road (5 min walk) that offered incredible wine. In the morning breakfast was provided which tasted good but more importantly the view from the building is surreal.

Went here as a work retreat with the company I work for.. and let me tell you, I am not really a nature type of person, I hate bugs and I usually like to do activities that are inside..minus water activities, I love kayaking and boating.
But I absolutely LOVED it here. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The wine tour was very nice and kayaking was amazing (even though it rained on us).
I stayed in the king suite which in my opinion was nicer than any hotel room Ive ever been in. The sheets are heated and with the cool breeze throughout the night, I quite possibly had one of the best sleeps of my life.
The outdoor shower that you get with a king suite was so nice and really quite an experience in the morning.
The food was not bad, better than I expected but not 5 star resort type...but it exceeded my expectations.
The staff were AMAZING, everyone was super friendly and very helpful.
Overall my experience here was 10/10!

The site is in a beautiful location with quick access to activities, beaches, wineries, and outdoor activities. The staff were super polite and quickly attended to your needs and requests. I would give the staff 5 stars! Having a warm fire and shower under the stars was also really enjoyable. Our only major issue was with the tent. We had lots of bugs in the tent (some would be understandable) and we had difficulty sleeping due to being bitten by lots of mosquitos. We realized in the morning that one of the windows was completely separated at the bottom from the tent which allowed so many bugs to enter. We even had a giant millipede on the ceiling which I took out at 3am. A little more has to be done with cleaning as there were spider webs on the ceiling and all over the nice chandelier. We stayed in King Wilderness Suite #7 and were told there was a plan to replace the tents but couldn't yet due to the current health situation. That is understandable but maintenance is needed. I would love to go back but only when the tents are replaced.

We didn t stay but we walked the trails for about an hour to kill some time. The trails are beautiful and will be back to check out the boardwalk.
The two ladies in the information center need to be updated on their information. They told us Hometown Brew Co opened at 4pm when in actual fact it is CLOSED on Thursdays.

Very cool place! The tents are amazing. The outdoor showers are really awesome, nothing like showering under the stars. We did a bee tour which was fun. We were travelling with young kids (4 and under 1) so we didn't get a chance to zip line, but will definitely be back to try it out!

It s a perfect little resort for anyone looking for any exposure to nature. For those who aren t campers will love the wilderness suites. The prices may seem a bit high when compared to camping, but you re booking a private suite. Would have to pay three times the price if booking something similar at most hotels. Definitely add it to your bucket list!

Big Creek paddling was amazing!! The staff is passionate, knowledgeable helpful and amazing!! We took my elderly mother, my highly anxious teen and my autistic child. Everyone loved it! Would do again (and again, and agin...) Leanne and Brian deserve all the praise and admiration they can get. If I had three thumbs I would put up the third.

I was invited to experience glamping at Long Point...

I was invited to experience glamping at Long Point Eco Adventures at the end of August and had a wonderful time! Full disclosure I was there to work with the property to create/publish photographic/promotional social media content. However, I am not required to leave a written review for anything that I did, so what I m sharing is coming directly from the heart!

It was our first ever camping/glamping experience and we were really impressed. Norfolk County is stunning! We had a 2-night stay in one of the Wilderness Suites (CAD200-300/night), which was tented, had a sliding door, a deck and chairs out front, a king bed, a space heater (that looked like a fireplace), a small fridge, a full bathroom and an attached outdoor shower. The bed also had a heated blanket for the cooler temps at night. It was literally everything we needed! I do suggest bringing snacks, candy, water, drinks (only canned), etc. to keep in your fridge for those random bursts of hunger. I really enjoyed the fire pits that were placed around the property. It was really fun to sit by the fire at night with a drink and watch the sky light up with stars (something we can t really do the city). Overall, our room and the property were great! We didn t have to sacrifice any luxuries to enjoy our time in nature. The property offers a variety of accommodation options for those looking for either more or less traditional camping experiences. Do make sure to bring strong bug spray. Whether you spend time outside or indoors, they will get you if you re not protected! The only thing I would suggest improving is the wifi access from the suites. But if you re not there to work, that shouldn t be much of an issue!

We ate all of our meals (except one) at the property s restaurant The Marshview Patio, which offers a scenic view and delicious food options. My favourite dishes were the Burrito Bowl (CAD14) and the Hearty Spring Salad (CAD14), which comes topped with bee pollen (how cool is that!?). I ordered the salad multiple times. The Tempura Cauliflower (CAD12) was also delicious and my partner couldn t get enough of Bacon and Cheese Hamburger (CAD17). They do really good fries too! My favourite drink was the Cherry Bomb, Folkin Hard Cider (CAD11) I basically only ordered this to drink while I was there. So good!

All in all, I definitely recommend this experience and look forward to doing it again myself. If you re interested in booking before the season ends, feel free to send me a message or DM me on Instagram (la_wandereuse). I can give you my 15% discount code (valid until Oct. 19, 2019) and instruct you on how to use it! And if you have any other questions about the property that I didn t answer here, feel free to reach out!

Amazing and super kind staff. We loved the adventures they had for everyone. However, for the price they charge it is definitely way to high for the quality of the tent they give you. We got a suite with 2 queen beds for one night. There were holes all over the tent for all the mosquitoes to come in. Mold and webs all over the top of the tent and they hadnt swept under the beds in probably months. My suggestion is either lower prices, patch the tents or replace them.

Long point was our first experience closest to glamping. We arrived early and looked for somewhere to eat in the area. As it was cold, the vineyard across the streets restaurant was closed. After driving around and disappointed with the selection, we went back to long point to eat there. The perch tacos were great. As they close at 4 and with limited dining options around the area, we ordered a chicken wrap to eat for later that night which did not turn out to be tasty. I would recommend anyone coming to pack some snacks or have a good meal before your check in to ensure you aren't starving for the rest of the night. We stayed in the wilderness suite. The bed was comfortable and I appreciated the heated blanket. Unfortunately the room was quite dusty including the chandelier where we also noticed cobwebs. For the price we paid, we expected cleanliness to be on top priority, which unfortunately was not. Our best part of the trip was the campfire that was lit by the staff who were quite attentive. Lastly breakfast is continental true to the name. Nothing spectacular but we did enjoy the coffee overlooking the marsh.

This place was absolutely AMAZING! 4 of us went for 3 days and 2 nights ,and we got a package deal that included 2 breakfasts, 2 incredible dinners, nighttime ziplining, mountain biking, and kayaking. Everything went smoothly and there were no glaring issues - in fact, any issues that we had were fixed very quickly by all staff. Everyone was very friendly and we had a great time! I 100% recommend it.

This was a fantastic glamping experience. We stayed in a Wildnerness Suite (facing the Marsh/woods) and it was fantastic. Spacious tent, great private bathrooms and showering under the stars after our private bonfire (which was started every night by our concierge). Beds were very comfortable and appreciated their dual heating function and the infrared heater in tent. We were so warm and cozy. We were a 4 minute drive to beach and the cute town. We would pick up lunch at fast food places and eat on the beach and ate dinner in our tent or on our veranda. Continental breakfast was okay (I think due to pandemic no hot breakfast which would have been perfect), grateful for their gluten-free options and pet-friendly patio to eat breakfast facing the beautiful surrounds. Staff was beyond helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

We went here for a work event. It was great. A very nice place to visit abs have a weekend getaway. With the location at long point, it is a little over an hour from London. The zip-lining is the parks main event, but there are tons of trails, fishing spots, axe throwing, and the second largest telescope in Ontario.

If you want ALL THE FUN and NATURE of camping, but...

If you want ALL THE FUN and NATURE of camping, but NONE of the work or discomforts, this is the place for you! In addition to various choices for Glamping, one of the pleasant surprise services included getting a CAMPFIRE going for you in the evening. Also conveniently located across the road is a winery and restaurant. In addition, there is a beer garden on site. The breakfast was Excellent 2 out of 3 days of my stay. On the day that the breakfast was not nice, it was recooked for me, no hassle.
The Accommodations are very comfortable & clean. The elite pod that I was staying in DID NOT HAVE HOT WATER in the shower. The outdoor showers did have, so I would be inclined to get the deluxe pod next time which has a flushing toilet plus sink but not a shower. The pod also had a little cooling fan, a heater fan and a regular fan. You cannot drink the running water in the pod, but they provide drinking water stations in the office and restaurant where you can fill up your water bottles.
All the Staff there are very service-oriented and friendly. A special kudos to Chloe, their marketing specialist who makes a point of eliciting feedback from customers. Mackenzie in the front office really makes a point of making sure you get what you need. Bobby and Lucas are some next-level professionals when it came to the zipline adventure. They were extremely safe but at the same time made it really fun and put people at ease. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ACTIVITY!
Unfortunately my observatory night was too cloudy for looking at stars. However, they gave us the option of rebooking OR staying for the informative presentation. I stayed for the presentation and glad I did. I learned some very interesting things.
Be aware if you go in the offseason, many of the activities are unavailable or limited. There are other things to do in the area however.
All-in-all you will probably pay about the same to stay in a nice hotel.
However, it was really WORTH WHILE to have this COMPLETELY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE!

A great two days at Long Point Eco Adventures with our family of four. We did it all! Zip Line Tour - first time I ever zip lined and it was great. Very little physical effort and don't be scared by the 40' rappel at the end, really not much too it. We enjoyed the kayak tour with Brian and Leeann. Would suggest going in the spring months as there wasn't a lot of birds or other wildlife on the tour. Still a great paddle downstream with two great guides. We did spot an Osprey with a fish lunch in its talons which was the highlight of our journey on the water. Went on the Burning Kiln tour (straight forward yet very interesting) then had dinner. We were surprised by the food truck that provided the meals at Burning Kiln and were pleasantly surprised by the high quality meal. Breakfast back at Long Point was great. Fresh eggs, vegetables, sausage and bacon were complimented by orange juice and good coffee. We booked the observatory but clouds kept us from seeing anything. We were offered certificates but because we were leaving the next morning they just applied the credit to our bill. Speaking of our bill, this is not an inexpensive two days. Between lodging and all the extracurricular activities, it adds up but definitely worth the price. It's an out of the way area located on a beautiful bluff overlooking Lake Erie and wish we had more time to explore and look forward to coming back for another adventure.

Really relaxed atmosphere. Wilderness suites are awesome . Beds with electric blankets in a tent were so nice. As a proper toilet and warm outside shower. Night campfires were lovely and social. The Zodiac boat tour is very special. Your a lucky boy Garrett now that is what I call a job. Millie our daughter fell in love with Drake. Thanks to all for a magic last couple of days in Canada before the journey back to the UK.

The suites provide a perfect way for someone who wants to be out door more but can't do tent and portable toilets. Excellent three nights in long point eco adventures. Bring lots of bug spray! Ziplining is pretty good, they charge 8 per head for photos taken by a Samsung smart phone. Photo quality is not bad but don't expect anything outstanding. Tons of good mountain biking trails around as well, so make sure you rent a bike from them. The bikes and helmets are of excellent quality. If you mention you are staying with long point, you will get discount St turkey point water sports.

Breakfast is usually scrambled eggs, potato and veggies, pancake, sausage/bacon, yogurt, toast station (with gluten free bread in freezer!)

LPEA has something for everyone. Whether you want to hike or mountain bike, hit the near by turkey point beach, try zip lining, sip wine on the patio, or grab a flight of beer from the on site brewery, they have it all. The wilderness suits that we stayed in were the perfect combination of nature meets glam, a 5 star hotel room surrounded by woods and overlooking a beautiful Marsh. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Didn't actually do anything here just stopped in to get an idea of what it was, looks like the tour is the thing to do with ziplines, suspension bridges, and platforms to climb around, it's also attached somewhat to a winery, saw some girls painting at the winery then walked back to eco... U can also stay in these tent like cottages seemed a bit pricey but I'm sure it's fun, staff was helpful but there is a very nice view overlooking forest area if yoh just stop for the view
