Many good memories in this aquarium. Very family oriented. A lot of activities for the little ones. They have a manta ray's tank to pet them and feed them before getting in the aquarium.

Great for family and kids. Price includes sea lion shows. There's a butterfly room, mining adventure, otter feeding, penguin and monkey exhibit and boat tour. We saw that there now offer snorkeling and other outdoor activities but were closed the time we went. (We went in fall) . Can't wait to go back next summer!

One of the best I've visited. Great place to bring the little ones, out of town guests or just yourself. It's not huge but it is very nicely laid out with a theme. The butterfly garden is an added plus. My daughter who lives in SC loved it more than the Georgia aquarium!

Second time I've been here. It's quite enjoyable. Or the space that they have, they pack a lot of entertainment and knowledge inside the walls. My niece and nephew had a great time as well. Parking was not on site. But close enough to not be a huge inconvenience. Will return in the future!

Where do i even begin!!! The gentelmen at the front desk, said that we could not purchase tickets to the aquarium (shark exhibition) unless we also purchased tickets to the butterfly and insect exhibitions ... my three year old it's a shark lover he did not care about butterfly and insects... he wanted to see more of the marine life, not that there was very much to see... i told the rep this but he insisted that to get an admission to see the marine life I Had to also purchase butterfly exhibition... I'll do anything to se my son happy so my husband and i paid it against our will. (Price are ridicules high for such small aquarium) shows are wack, theres not much to see...parking Price is high aswell... never get stuck there while there's a storm...complete chaos... no penguins etc etc .... when we got to the butterfly exhibition a small group of us entered a room where no one was asked to show their stamps to the female staff, but she singled my kid my husband and I out in front of the rest and asked us ONLY to show her our stamps... if this would of been required from all of us that were present it would of been totally normal... the protocol applies to every customer not to just one or two out of a group.... .gift shop is wayyy overated.... overall I would not go back....

Felt like they over priced the tickets for what they offer. Food was expensive and was not very good at all. The water exhibits were decent, particularly the shark tank was alright. The rest of the stuff there seems like it was shoe horned in to make the place seem better and bigger than it is. Like the horrible monkey cages and other indoor animal cages. Way too small. The place isn't a zoo, so I don't know why they're trying to act like one. Probably wouldn't go back.

I called and spoke to a guy about having my wedding there for 40 guests. I was told to make more friends since their minimum was over 50 people. Thanks for your disgusting comment. I will not be visiting your aquarium any more nor will I recommend my friends and family to have their wedding there.

Impressive tropical fish tanks, penguins, monkeys, sealion shows, lots of activities for the kids including a small arcade. Lots of exhibits including the shark tank where you can dive underwater with the large occupants.

My kids love this place, but it can get a bit pricey if you want to do more than just check out the fish tanks or occasional live show. Still a great place to go, especially on a bad-weather day. Try to avoid weekdays in June, though - it seems that that is prime school trip time. We also went on a weekday in September and it was MUCH quieter.

Great to see when people take excellent care of the fish and genuinely like what they're doing. They also have outdoor exhibits such as penguins and sea lions. They also hold venues for weddings and other occasion's. The place is kept very clean and has a parking lot available across the street.

Enjoyable way to spend the day with the family. Lots of tiny exhibits. Easy to jump in and out of different sections of the facility. Butterfly area is very different and highly interactive. Penguins and seals are always a popular draw. Seal show could be longer. Overall a nice destination for the family on a summer afternoon.

Nice aquarium. Not as big as the Camden Aquarium in NJ or the the Baltimore Aquarium in MD but just the right size for a family with young children. Also a nice outing for adults. Be aware, if you go on a cold winter day, many outdoor exhibits may be closed but still plenty to see inside. Adding the butterfly and bird experience is def worth it as well. Also, keep in mind, they have discounted weekday tickets in the winter.

My boyfriend and I took a day trip to the South Fork and decided to stop off at the aquarium along the way. It was an incredible experience and so much more than either of us expected. Between petting stingrays, coming face-to-face with sharks, watching sea lions dance, and having butterflies land on our arms, I can t decide what my favorite part was. The staff was exceptional. One worker even went out of her way to give us information on the butterflies and even offered to take our picture, which I ve posted here. I ll definitely be taking a trip back soon!!!

It's a fun place to visit but small and pricey. Plus, their parking lots down the block charge $$$ during the peak/summer season, so between that and their cafeteria food, you better hit the ATM before getting there. If you know you'll want to visit at least two times during the year, you're definitely better off purchasing an annual membership pass which includes food discounts (members are still charged full price for parking). I would skip the extra charge to visit the birds and butterflies exhibit, which I found disappointing. But the bottom line is that my kids love it there.

The Aquarium is incredible, with it not only being indoors but outdoors too. There is lots of attractions, besides it being an aquarium, they also have butterfly room and an aviary. Very kid friendly, with a bunch of interactive activities like petting rays. For all you can see and do, their prices are reasonable.

Took my mrdd population there. DISGUSTING PLACE. IT SMELLED VERY DIRTY AND THE FOOD WORKER'S WERE NICE TO THE INDIVIDUAL'S. BUT THE PRICE THEY CHARGE THERE IS NO WAY THIS PLACE SHOULD LOOK LIKE THAT..TAKE YOUR FAMILY ELSEWHERE...NOT WORTH THE DRIVE OR MONEY. PLUS NO PARKING..

Long Island Aquarium shows the expertise and love of marine life put into the design of the exhibits. From the large touch tank to environmental displays, to educational presentations, this is well worth the admission. We went on cool, rainy day. Because of that we did not explore much of the outdoor exhibits. We did take in the sea lion show which was educational and a crowd pleaser. The butterfly conservatory was smaller than some, but packed with a variety of species. We will visit again!

Really good exhibits. Interactive things to do with smaller kids. Feeding goldfish was a big hit. Petting the Sting Rays too. Sea lion show is a good one. Go on a weekday. Less crowded. Worth it.

It was really interesting and fun. They have a nice variety of fish, some sharks, a butterfly exhibit, and a bird exhibit. My favorite part was seeing the birds and butterflies because they land on you which is perfect for taking photos.

A great place to know under water life and also the natural life. Great place for kids as well as anyone. We expend quality time there with our family. The seal show added extra fun to this journey.
