This is Hands down the best Aquarium Ever!! We had the most amazing time. It's so Interactive for kids and such a great educational learning experience. We stayed at the hotel next door too and did the penguin encounter. I recommend every single thing. I would come here 100 times a month if I could.

Pretty nice aquarium. Not like the New York Aquarium, though. Plenty of free parking was a definite plus after driving for over 2 hours. The cost of admission I feel was a bit steep and I paid a little extra to interact with and pet penguins, which I thought was great. And they have a little sea lion show for about 15 minutes that was entertaining. I would visit again in the future....

It's very expensive for how small it is. You can feed stingrays, walk through a butterfly room and see a large array of fish and sharks but they nickle and dime you every step of the way. I've been a few times and never spent more than a couple of hours there.

Touching stuff is fun, touching sea life is also fun. You walk in and you touch the stingrays, they are so cute and squishy. To the right are the turtles, to the left the bird and butterfly exhibit. Enough stuff for a day, if you go late, not worth it. Start early, catch the shows before the sun gets too hot, carry water, they don't have any fountains out and about. Cafe is expensive, vending machines are expensive. Decent gift shop. Decent exhibits

Beautiful place. Many cool exhibits. It is a bit pricey but the money does go to a good cause. If you can't find street parking there is a lot that charges 12 dollars for a day or parking about 2 blocks over(just across the train tracks) handicap accessible and there is a food court.

Very nice place to hang out with family. Kids will really enjoy here. All the staff members are friendly and helpful. All colorful fish will attract you and moreover sharks will steal the show. Lucky to experience sea lion show.

I had a hard time rating this one because the experience is great however they did not enforce social distancing at all. The place was not regularly cleaned and children were running everywhere smearing up the glass and just generally out of control. They instated timed entry which would give the appearance of crowd control but they failed miserable in this regard. I felt unsafe and feel like they could be in for a rude awakening if the virus is spread due to their experience.

we have been here 2x now. to me their biggest attraction is the shark tank. it's something i can just sit and watch for a long time. it's huge and there are some pretty big sharks and fish in there. it is somewhat expensive in my opinion. $30 per adult to get in.

they also had a butter fly exhibit that's nice to walk through.

To tell the truth, I expected more. The tropical fish and shark tanks, at the beginning of the tour were fine but, that's it ! and I think the place is too dark. The rest of the place is just a fill in that has nothing to do with an aquarium: there are monkey, lizard, parakeets, butterflies and penguins areas that belong to a zoo, not to an aquarium.

Very expensive place for having almost all their attractions out of service claiming the weather wasn't good. But it seems that those attractions haven't been working in a while. Animals are fine, i would recommend this place to invest in fixing all the attractions that you pay for when you visit. Very sad and unsatisfied with this visit to the Riverhead Aquarium.

Price is ridiculous. $30 per adult. Off site parking which is another $10 and 3 blocks away. Oh and to buy feed for the animals it's at least $2. Lunch... Yea, I felt like I was at a major sporting event without the ability to add a $12 beer to my order. Definitely not a good value of attractions for what you pay. Don't waste your time or money.

Strange as it may seem, the social distancing was well enforced. Easy to follow the yellow arrows, registration moves quickly. We had 1100 entry that moved through the interior, then saw the seal show. There were no crowds.

I am writing this so you do not waste your money and time. Take my advice, If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First off when you walk in it smells overwhelmingly of mildew, they proceeded to tell us we did not know what we were talking about and the smell was fish. To continue, we went to the Snow monkey exhibit and witnessed the monkeys tearing off pieces of their swing and chewing it and swallowing the pieces of plastic, we brought this to their attention and again, I began by explaining that I was very concerned and that I am shaking from the things I witnessed and the depressing atmosphere, in which a "trainer" began to tell me she was shaking and upset too because I was wrong and I was making her upset. We spent about 20 minutes here, spent $19 and it was the WORST experience of my life, I asked for a refund and got denied. Do not waste your time, it was run down, tattered, and utterly depressing. I came here to have my spirits lifted, and walked out crying due to my experience. I truly wish I could fully explain the extent of how horrible this place is.
