Kicked me and my disabled daughter out because i complained about getting bit by bedbugs..i took pictures of the actual bug..the bites they left on my baby..we slept in the bathroom..and the head lady in charge told us to go downtown L.A. if we dont like it there..i wanna whoop her ass as im thinking about it...i should've called the health department on her ass when i was there...but thats what i get putting myself in that predicament...

The men and women, the volunteers, the broken people no one claims, all come together to make this a place where everyone is someone in God's family.

What a horrible experience most workers were somewhat polite, expect for carrol who was extremely rude to my sister and I. It was our first and last time there, not only did she follow us around the store giving us dirty looks, but when I sat to try on shoes and check out a daybed I was interested in ..I was told I couldnt sit on furniture. I dropped all my items and left then..my sister checked out hers and Carol looked at my sis and said " what you dont have the money do you" never in my life have I ever been treated with such disrespect..this woman should be fired immediately! Also there were rarely any prices on anything n store was a mess

Me and my Carlos were able to eat here daily and they also help me with what my baby needed im very thankful showing up to this place and being welcomed by all the staff it has help us alot

A safe space in which to recover and an organization that helps in every way possible to re-integrate one back into society.

Live and work there this place helps alot of people in so many ways This place is definitely blessed

I have volunteered here at Thanksgiving after I went there for dinner when I lost my job and had no food. The staff is friendly and food was good. I go to the store every week not because I can't afford to go else where but to try and support them when I can. The mission is a great support to the community.

I had my wallet pick pocketed or stolen in the church or dining room. It had credit cards, bank cards, a couple gift cards, $150.00 in cash, My EBT card, Medi - Cal card, store cards, AARP card and my Social Security Card to steal my Identity. I posted a reward for return of $125 plus the cash that was in it. The Staff didn't seem to care and apparently none of the Toxic people here are honest enough to return it. My drivers license as well was in it. Major Problems....

I was left to wonder around due to the unethical and unlawful actions of my said family members/siblings. I was forced to resort to homeless shelters in L.B. This shelter was disgusting & abusing with me. Refusing me a bed and forcing me to endure their religious cults ceremony before letting me have a warm meal that other volunteers help put together. I was discriminated because I was sophisticated and European looking. Shameless rude and inhumane.

Hard working ministry that serves the homeless population of this city and gives shelter, food and respite. Spiritual counceling given as well and referrals.

The Mission does such amazing and worthwhile work. They saved my life in several ways and helped me to access needed social services. They do God's work and allow those they help to be of service by giving back to the community. The volunteer program includes many successful graduate residents who actively participate in running the facility. I was blessed with the opportunity to meet my fiancee, a compassionate man of God, through his service and dedication while giving back to the Mission. LBRM works miracles on a constant basis, such good people and a genuinely safe environment to shelter and encourage those who are hurting and in need. God bless the Mission.

I've sent clients here and they have gone on to do amazing things a shelter it's such an important thing.
