I love this place. I ve been eating here for the last 15 years. Each time I travel, I make it a goal to stop and eat at this place. Please start serving on Sundays. I was so bombed that I drove thru town and you weren t open. I rate this place 5 stars. This family owned company always makes me feel welcomed and serves excellent authentic Mexican food.

This place is delicious, authentic, and has very fresh food. Definitely worth the stop if in town.

not from barstow...just passing through. enjoyed the clean, friendly, well lit environment. Lola'a is probably more on the funky artsy side for barstow, which I appreciate.

Delicious Mexican food. Even though they were very busy, the food came out quickly and the service was spot on. I would highly recommend the green enchiladas.

Bad service I ordered carne asada the meet was too salty I asked for a cup water they charged one dollar for the empty cup

The food was delicious! The place is literally a whole in a wall. Once you entered you are in a small corner of Mexico. Great atmosphere. Best restrooms in Barstow for sure. The art displays are just wow! The food was deliciously exquisite!

Coming thru Barstow can be disheartening to some. This can be part of the I gotta get to where I am going and this ain't it syndrome that attacks frantic travelers. Well chill out drive down main street. Turn into the vons shopping center and look for the not too well labeled lolas. Real Mexican food by real Mexicans. Done nicely. Polite service. The usual choices. Served hot. (Temp) and prompt. I will stop again . The breakfast was good and I suspect lunch will be even better! Worth the extra few minutes and you will still get there.... where ever there is...

Outstanding little place. Only seats about 20, but is cute & cozy. Food is excellent and served quickly. A must-visit if you're passing through Barstow. Don't let the strip mall environs fool you. It's great!

Because we are not too hungry, we randomly ordered a California roll and two drinks, about 14 pieces. We have to pay 1 more for the card, so we paid the cash and no extra tip. The free potato chips are a bit hard and the sauce is a bit spicy. The food is very fast, and the volume of everything is really huge. There is a circle of French fries in addition to beef and vegetables. It tastes good and is very full. Drinks are added casually, and you can take them away when you leave. Overall, the price is extremely high,

The wind decoration of the whole store has entered the dress of Halloween, and there are ghosts and jealousy everywhere. Looking at the square from the parking lot is quite desolate, but this restaurant seems to be very popular. There are so many diners at the time, the whole hall is filled in lunch time, and many people buy takeaways.

This gringa crossing the high desert from San Diego didn't need to know about Carne asada fries, but I am so glad that I do now. It's like a Mexican poutine! So much freaking flavor in this dish, and even better with about 1/4 cup of the enchilada sauce added. My friends has the beef enchiladas and said they were wonderful, moist and delicious. It's a busy place, friendly to the tourists (us) who came in and didn't know the drill (order at the register, get your beverage and sit down). It's a small, little place in a strip mall with fabulous food, do not be deceived by the exterior. Do not drive by.

Love their chicken tacos on soft corn tortillas. Beautiful white cheese, and the lettuce is divine. Green sauce - Oh yes! They are open 4:am -7:30pm M-F and Saturday they close early at 4:30 pm.

Small Mexican restaurant in a commercial area with ample parking.
After placing an order and paying for the small counter, the wait to be served at the table is reasonable
The dishes are simple and correct without more.

The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. The decorations are adorable. The table service is excellent. Yummy chips and salsa and huge portions for meals. Great beans and rice.

Wonderful homey little place to enjoy good mexican food and delightful, friendly service while sitting among cheerful locals. If you're new, go right up to the counter, grab a menu, find an open table, and sit down to read and decide. Then go back to the counter to place your order. They'll bring you delicious food and you'll be happy you came.

Poor customer service, and the price always changes depending on the person taking you order!

Stopped in here a couple of months ago while passing through town. We were pleasantly surprised and the owner or perhaps manager could not have been more gracious and the food was wonderful

Mostly takeout but some sitting space. Locals volunteered to rearrange their sitting to accommodate our large family. We. always visit when we're in the area.

This really is a great little restaurant! The chips are thicker type chips and soooo good! Beans are really tasty as well which means anything with beans in it is particularly delicious. All the types of meat we got were well flavored and moist. So glad we gave it a try!!

First impression is it's nice but, then we noticed they charged us 2 DOLLARS for PLAIN OLD WATER CUPS, THE WATER HAD OLD FRUIT not FRESH .the floor was dirty and the some water on the floor too . The food wasn't bad , but what a ripoff.

Great place. Good food. You must order at counter, they bring your food to your table. How do you tip at a place like that? When we walked in just after 5, we were alone, by 5:30, it was standing room only.

Amazing homemade Mexican! It is small but incredibly beautiful with very talented chefs and extremely friendly, attentive and hardworking waiters. Portion size is large and worth the price without a doubt. Definitely worth stopping for on our road trip.

A cost, local restaurant that's tucked away in a strip mall, well away from the tourist tat of Barstoe Station. The service was really friendly, but the soft tacos I had weren't particularly memorable.

Read the reviews and they seemed good. One even said good for vegetarians. HA!. We went in the AM and just about froze. There is nothing vegetarian there and the beans obviously had lard in them since our stomachs feel like there was a rock in them. Not impressed.
