The best in Barstow, breakfast burritos are to die for. I have never been disappointed in anything that I ordered, not to mention the service is great!!!

Best place in Barstow for authentic Mexican food! When all you have are older ladies in the kitchen (Grandma's) you know the food is going to be great. They are kind and loving to customers and will definitely be back again soon! I had the carne asada tacos and Chilaquiles with carne asada, rice, beans and two eggs over easy. Love it!

This place is small and personable and it is the only place I know of that opens at 4am in barstow. I have never eaten there and been disappointed. They have been in business for 25 years for a reason.

Albert greeted us so warmly and asked where we were from and thanked us for stopping by. We all enjoyed our meals -- they were tasty and served quickly.

Busy. Popular. Might be hard to get a seat. Guess authentic Mexican is hard to come by in Barstow?

I had the milanesa which was amazing. I loved the red sauce. My hubs ordered 2 breakfast burritos which were huge and delicious. He only needed one.

The chili verde con carne its delicious, very convenient place on your way to/from vegas. very friendly staff , nice and clean place. Easy parking

We like a lot going out. Yesterday we visited this superb restaurant which friends told us about. We passed a beautiful time there with great dishes and a professional stuff and a professional cook. We added this fine restaurant in our list and we shall definitely go again soon. We warmly recommend.

I absolutely love the chilaquiles and asada it s so good and the green salad is always on point I recommend Lola s anytime

Stopped in Barstow en route to Los Angeles from the Grand Canyon. Excellent mexican food, large portions and very reasonable pricing. Go easy on the chips and salsa lest you'll fill yourself up before your meal arrives. Very kind and attentive staff!

I love going to this place. Staff is always so pleasant. The environment isn't rushed and you can tell the staff take pride in their restaurant. Always clean and the food is the best food in Barstow!

Lola's is a charming little place, with delicious food at good prices. Additionally, you can tell that the place was decorated by someone who appreciates beauty. I had the breakfast burrito, which was tasty, yet spicier than I expected. Nonetheless, it was well within the realm of pleasantly spicy. I recommend that you stop here if you like dining in a place with character that serves authentic and scrumptious dishes!

Really good, kind of expensive. I've been coming here for 8 years. I like that the chips are still crispy when they bring out the chiliqueles.

I love it...! it's pricey....but delicious...you must try the tacos Puerto Rican.....an older review says this is texmex....oh please ...I am Mexican. In fact I grew up in south Texas. I've only been in Cali 4yrs. Lolas is the only Mexican food I will eat and pay for outside of my home cooked Mexican. Aqui..uno puede encuentrar comida authentica de Mexico. Las senoras y Alberto son muy lindos y attientes.

Great, fast, fun food stop. Counter service. Fun decorated dining and nice bathrooms. We would make a point to stop on our next trip. Salsa is a touch on the hotter side for those that prefer it, but the entrees were delectable Thank you Lolas.

It's always a pleasure to stop by and enjoy some authentic Mexican food! The food is great Everytime, the staff is amazing and the food is priced Right!! This is by far my favorite Mexican food restaurant and I recommend it all the time. 10 stars :)

A small hole in the wall location in a plaza. We knew it was worth the visit when we saw 3 police cars parked there having breakfast. Lola was there and was very sweet. Food was creative, delicious, with a Central American flare.

First off, the prices are outrageous. I understand people have to survive but the prices here are doubled if not triple any similar food spot. With that being said the food is not bad and yet not amazing maybe a 6 or 7 out of 10 (also charged extra for green sauce but not red) I was told after I ordered, but the customer service was less than satisfying . So to sum it up the customer service was a down thumbs, food was pretty good but not for the price they put on it.

These guys are great! Their business hours alone are fantastic. The breakfast burritos are huge and delish, and the nachos are an amazing lunch choice. Their chips are some of the best, and their salsa/hot sauce is perfection. I dig the cucumber water as well.

We tried it while passing through on a road trip because the reviews were so good. It was only ok. It is located in an ugly strip mall. It is tiny but sort of cute inside. Food was average, nothing special.

This was our first time there. Probably our last. When we arrived, it appeared to be a normal sit-down restaurant. We were given menus and salsa, but as the gal was walking away, I asked for water and was given a very rude look for asking. I looked at my husband and we both wondered what I said so wrong as to warrant such a look. After looking at the menus for a while, still no water, and no one saying anything to us, I went up to the register and asked if I was supposed to order at the register. I was told yes. So that answered a lot of questions but I was so confusing at first on what was going on. It was just us and one other table so they Could ve at least made it clear on how it worked there; At least when I asked her water she could ve said oh it s self service and handed me a cup or something. Food was ok but nothing to write home about.

Stopping in Barstow for fuel and a bite to eat. Googling places to eat, my wife and I came across this little hole in the wall restaurant. Four hundred and sixty something reviews and still holding on to a 4.6 star rating was promising.

I'm writing this review before even getting my food. So far the staff is friendly. I will update once I eat.

Update: Food was good, facility was clean and like I wrote before, the staff was friendly. The to-go menu claims that it's the "best mexican food from the coast to Vegas"; I wouldn't necessarily make that claim but I would say that it might be the freshest. This food actually taste like its good for you.

This place is worth visiting if you're passing through.

A very casual place. Interesting menu. Several things I haven't seen at other restaurants.

The food is some of the freshest I've ever had, they also bring it to you moments after it was done cooking! Easily one of the top 5 burritos I've ever had. Staff is friendly and quite quick to respond to requests for napkins or more chips. I'm so disappointed they don't have one of these near where I live, I'd come here regularly if I could!

Only eaten here for breakfast. But they open at like 4am. The california burrito extra hot is awesome. They chunk up habanero peppers and stuff inside

I was here with my family last afternoon on the way back to LA from Vegas. Clean place and good vegetarian food we had. Owner charges 0.85 cents for water and $1 for credit card charge. Receipt by email or text message.

I loved Lola s kitchen!!! It is such a great place to grab breakfast. I live an hour out of the way but I don t mind the occasional trip out there for a meal. Great customer service and great food, there s not much else to ask for! I will definitely go again. I tried the green chile enchiladas with potatoes, no cheese no sour cream and it came out perfectly!!!
