BUYER BEWARE on Lokal homes. I have owned a Lokal town home since Aug 2024. Since that time, I have had 3 different roof leaks into the attic, an HVAC drain line leak that caused damage to bathroom ceiling and drywall that hasn't been fixed (been over a year now), exhaust fans that didn't work, 1 was not even wired and the other had the wire nut fall off with exposed wires hanging, also have a 40 foot crack in the foundation that goes from the garage door all the way out to the front patio area. The quality and QC on these town homes are very poor, the excuses are many, the communication is atrocious and trying to get the warranty people out to fix something is pretty much a long drawn out process to get you to pay for and fix things yourself. Lokal homes does not care about their name or their product. Lokal homes is more concerned about building and selling these as quickly as possible and letting the new home owners deal with all the issues that arise. I give ZERO stars for Lokal homes and definitely can not recommend theirs builder to anyone !!!!!!!!
Lokal homes does not care about their product or name, they only care about sales. I have decided to go out of my way to inform other potentials buyers to stay away from Lokal homes.

We contacted Lokal about a stair being wobbly and they came out right away to help adjust the issue. The gentlemen that was sent out was professional and all around a good guy. Their project manager checked in after the work was done to make sure we were satisfied, which we were. Thanks Lokal for the professional customer service and high quality service.

We have purchased a home with Lokal Homes in Two Bridges. We started out Journey with Mary Jane to purchase and she has been great! As everything has gone crazy over the last year it is taking a while to get the house built, but they have been calling us consistently to let us know what is going on, instead of us trying to find out ourselves. The whole experience has been very smooth. They personnel for decor choices, electrical and project management have all been very pleasant to work with. They have been very honest about everything and not trying to feed us stories. Even talking with some neighbors they are very happy and we are excited to be apart of the Lokal Community.

I live in a new Lokal community in Castle Rock and we have had numerous issues with the sprinkler system and landscaping installed by Nu Style, the landscaper Lokal chose. The sprinklers and drip line have not worked properly all summer, numerous plants have died and Lokal and Nu Style have been telling the community for the past 2 months these items would be taken care of and still nothing despite many communication attempts from the HOA board and the property manager. It has been a very frustrating experience as last summer we all lived with several delays on installing landscaping and now this summer we cannot get anything fixed.

Incredible, unique homes built by a locally-owned company. From the construction, sales and warranty team, they truly care about their customers. As a Colorado Realtor, I have been referring buyers to Lokal Homes since 2013 and I love selling Lokal Homes. From start to finish, Lokal makes the home buying process a wonderful experience for my clients. Each home is thoughtfully laid out and buyers can feel the difference when they walk through the front door! Lokal continually updates my clients on the progress of their homes. I highly recommend Lokal to all of my clients and other Realtor Partners!

Overall poor quality and even worse craftsmanship. The finishing details throughout our entire home look like they were handled by intoxicated amateurs (we found numerous empty beer bottles and shooters in our crawl space). Damaged drywall installation is just painted over; texture looks like chunky vomit on the walls, not knockdown; they installed a warped staircase; grout and caulking are shoddy; mason work on the outside pillars is crooked; only two months after living in the home, lots of cracking and separating on drywall, trim, corner bead. They tell you they will fix issues with warranty work but IF they do, it doesn t look any better; we had to work with half a dozen different warranty associates in the process of trying to correct the poor craftsmanship and by and large, after a year, lots of things are still undone.

I am a realtor and I do a lot of new build transactions for clients. Marina by far is one of the best salespeople I have ever worked with. From day one. The way she explained the contract to my client was spot on. I felt like she was honest and upfront which made me feel like she would avoid a lot of problem, complaints and clients being upset later which I appreciated and so did my client.

I wish every salesperson was as thorough and upfront as she was. It just made the whole experience better.

Throughout the whole process Marina was a solution based person. She didn t have the no no no mentality of other salespeople. It was always let me ask, let me find out and trying to find solutions. We were both able to work together and she was always finding a way to make things work. In return my client got the home of her dreams. The design center was fabulous. I cannot remember the gals name but she was AMAZING also. (Emily I believe) She was so patient and so good at her job.

I would highly reccomend Lokal homes. I cannot say if it was truly Lokal homes because it was the internal people who truly made the experience. Jose the construction manager was so nice also.

I wish I could work with Marina on every deal. I would go out of my way to work with her again though!

Lokal is awesome! We ve lived in our new home in Buffalo Run for just over a month now and can t say enough good things! The build quality is far superior to other builders that we looked at and a lot of typically premium upgrades come standard! The layout of our house is absolutely perfect and definitely maximizes the usable space. We did have some hiccups in the construction process, but Lokal went above and beyond to make sure we understood how sorry they were, and our home moved along quickly after that. I know some people have reviewed that once you move in they don t care about you anymore, but I ve experienced the opposite. We had a few small issues post move-in that we discovered and warranty sent someone out and had them taken care of within a week. Erin also personally followed up with us to see how things were going. I can t say enough good things. We LOVE our home!

Very satisfied so far! We are having a home constructed by Lokal Homes. To date, all steps in the process (Contract, Design Center, Electrical Upgrades, Assistance Selling Current Home) have been executed professionally and with a personal touch. Communication has been outstanding. We look forward to continue working with their professional team!
