Locke opened a tasting room at their vineyard and closed the one on main street in Murphys. The new barn tasting room is worth the stop. The winery is family owned and it's a great place to relax with a glass of wine in the garden or enjoy a tasting of their latest lineup. They also have a shop with various items from candles, olive oils, jams, lavender and fun signs. They also have special events, just keep an eye on their calendar. I took a yoga class here the morning after Thanksgiving.

I stopped by in late October for a tasting. They have a lovely outdoor area. Kirsten is very knowledgeable as she is involved in the wine making process herself. She answered all my questions about the wine making at Sierra Foothills. I loved Ponderosa blend and picked up a bottle to remember the trip later.

Amazing vineyard! The wine is great (but my bias for red is Sequoia, it's a MUST try). They host a bunch of events like paint night, yoga, candle making, personalized bath salt, harveting your own herbs and much more. Highly recommend a visit! Not to mention that they support local vendors with great merchandise. You can spend a few hours chillin with friends inside the barn or outside on the patio. You won't regret the visit

Kirsten and her family vineyard is everything that a small town winery should be. The wines are delicious, they are involved in their hometown history and they're rewriting what customer service should be. They exceed expectations with everything they touch. Love the Locke family.
