We have had a couple of our open heifers that could not settle to 'Artificial insemination, slaughtered and processed at Roskom's. So far the quality has been good and have no complaints. I also like the fact they are federally inspected so we can sell the Frozen meat directly to the customer from our Dairy Farm if we choose to start doing this in the future! We will continue to send the heifers to
Roskom's. I also believe Dairy Farmers should be able to market and sell their products directly to the consumer. We work very hard to feed the nation and we should be able to sell our products directly to the consumer if we choose to do so. Farmers must work hard to find alternative methods of paying the bills instead of relying directly on selling only fluid milk to a processor. Farmers should be price makers not price takers. With the internet and inexpensive advertising we can begin to market directly to our consumers. Farmers would not be inclined to overproduce perishable products if they were in charge of marketing and selling in retail markets. Overproduction is only profitable for the processor. Farmers are the only entrepreneurs who purchase all capital in retail markets and sell their products in wholesale markets! As young beginning American Dairy Farmer I can see beyond a pattern which equals insanity and business sabotage which results in financial ruin. Albert Einstein said "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result." When are the opportunities to fair free market competition going to break up the monopoly created by oversupply? When are Dairy farm employeeys going to be granted citizenship and the right to vote and participate in democracy, so they can advocate for our business. 51 percent of Wisconsin Dairy Farm employees are not eligible to vote! This is a big problem for the dairy industry! People deserve to have the choice to purchase their groceries directly from the farmer/producer! Fight for Freedom to own your own farm land, farm, and feed, the Nation! For a profitable livable wage for dairy farm family's who milk the cows every day for America! American work ethic would return if more American Dairy Farm workers were eligible to vote in our elections and speak and fight for Agricultural Freedom. Don't let down our Veterans who fought for your freedom domestically and in foreign lands! Fight for Freedom and Democracy! Fight For Freedom To be a beginning American Farmer who has a family that farms together and works hard every single DAY! Bring Back the Dream of every American being able to own and operate a farm if they truly are passionate about doing So! Above all Work Hard Every Day, it is the only way!

We had a pig butchered there this past fall.. our bacon is either cut into quarter inch thick slices or looks like shaved meat and our pig was not properly bled. Definitely not impressed!

I had a quarter of beef processed at roskums in January. The hanging weight was 235 lbs. I got 105 lbs back.thats a loss of 55%. I have been buying beef like this for 25 years and never had a loss of over 35%. So needless to say I will never buy my beef from there again. I keep wondering where did the rest of my beef went???

Great family ran business where the owners are not only reached by phone but can be found working the floor right alongside their employees. If your looking for a butcher or meat processor for your wild game that's honest and fair, Roskom Meats is the place to go. I had some venison and elk processed there and they had the order completed faster than any other processor I have ever taken any of my wild game to. They took the time to go over all my options with me and genuinely earned my continued business. The facility is very clean and well kept. Their packaging is professional and your meat is packaged to your liking.

Quick service, the cuts are good, the packaging is great. I will use them again. I have to remember to try the snack sticks when I am there next time. They looked really good and had good flavors as well.

It was a bit of a hassle in dealing with Roskoom Meats. What was offered and showing on their website was not what the lady who took the order said we would necessarily get. There were so many determining factors as to how many of what cut you would get it was confusing.
Meat doesn't taste any better than what you get at Costco.

Used to love there sausage but now it is bad. Found out they had another company make their sausage and now they do all there own. Hamburger and side pork and sliced ham are great. Just don t like there sausage they do themselves now. Leaves strong metal/bloody flavor in your mouth.

I bought a few steaks from Roskom for my wife's birthday. Great people and I love supporting a small shop that that. However for the price, my hope was for a USDA choice or better... but what I got had no marbling, as such... it was tender but lacked flavor and was dry (cooked rare). On a side note, got a sirloin for my kids and it was inexpensive and very good!

I really liked the selection here. I arrived around 8:45am and not everything they offer was in the meat case. I bought some frozen hot dogs, fresh brats, and meat sticks. The meat sticks are great, the cheese is actually decent size so you can tell there's actually cheese in them. I would go back again but probably later in the day to see what else they actually have.
