I was super lucky to visit the LPL today! It was thier grand re-opening and it is AMAZING! It is now ultra modern, and has wonderful light! Plenty of cozy places to sit and relax! The kids section is fantastic! There are even cozy seats built into the wall! Lots of computers to work on, books, music and movies galore too! The staff is as warm, friendly and welcoming as the new atmosphere! LPL is surely a magical and helpful place!

This is by far the best library in the entire Onondaga County Public Library System. Such a vast number of CDs DVDs books and periodicals. I love how they finally put in a few years ago the self-checkout system. That certainly always is a help. I love the underground garage as well. It's also nice that they have a meeting room there where a lot of events for the Village of Liverpool as well as Onondaga County itself are held. The public bathrooms are always extremely clean as well. This is definitely the best library in the entire Onondaga County Public Library System. It's also very nice to see a police officer in the library keeping an eye on the cameras for both the underground garage as well as what's going on within the library. They have plenty of computers that are available for people to use and the staff is always extremely nice.
I absolutely love the remodeled library! The space is open and light. I really appreciate the additional tables and sitting areas, as well as the charging stations!
They may be the largest in the area but they have a chip on their shoulder and aren't affraid to show it. Parking is limited and is usually full. Will not be going back.
Large children's room with a train set and doll house. Plenty of space for many kids to play together. Within walking distance are two coffee shops as well so perfect for spending a morning and then grabbing lunch after.
Very friendly and helpful staff! A lovely Environment full of fabulous and current books, DVDs etc. Easily accessible since it is located in center of the Village . A real treasure!
One of my favorite libraries! So much stuff to check out! Refreshments available! Community rooms and community activities. Truly something for everyone.
This is one of the best libraries around. They have a great selection, excellent technology, helpful staff, and lots of activities. Take a look for yourself. You will be impressed.
Huge children's area with more books than you could have imagined exist. Small play area for little ones, plenty of computers! Large teen/YA section, ginormous fiction and non fiction sections. There's so much to explore here. A/C keeps it cool in the summer. Lots of programs for all ages.
I went Sunday to use the Quiet Room computers to do my resume. It was so loud that everyone was wearing headphones. It is too close to the front areas where there was so much noise, it was not like a Library environment at all. Horrible loud and I will not be back to this location again. I had to drive to Solvay to have a quiet space. I would give the renovations no stars if I could. The way it is set up is also very choppy and confusing and does not make sense. It is a very cold and sterile environment and is not welcoming. It was much nicer to navigate before.
Even though the kids place is still under construction they have a little space for the kids to still read and play, the new layout is wonderful, my son and I made snowmen in the kids room!
It was my first time coming to this library and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I ended up leaving with more than I came in to do, so I was excited about that!
Have great children's programs. I have gone there since childhood. Great place to relax. Cool off in the Summer. Stay warm in the Winter. Catch a great movie. Comprehensive web access and classes. U can catch great movies and socialize with proletariat comrades! Close to Grocery, coffee shops, and Parks. Both above and underground Parking. Within reach of Houses and Apartments. Highly Recommend.
The Liverpool Public Library has a wide variety of helpful community resources. In addition to a fairly large selection of books, CDs, audiobooks, and DVDs, it also has creative borrowing programs. For example, one program lets you borrow a ukulele and a lesson book.
This library also has a lot of technologies that make checking out books and DVDs simple. For example, you can scan your library card and enter your pin at one of the computer stations in order to check your own books out. You can also create a self reservation and immediately use one of their many desktops.
The kids' section is cute and offers a lot of choices. This library has an entire room designated to young adult books, and it has a spacious front lobby with seating available if you're waiting for a ride.
Desks in the back are designated to quiet activities. Just ask at the front desk to reserve one of these if you're studying for a test or just need some quiet reading time.
Wonderful library. It's a large place full of knowledgeable information. They have story time for kids, and plenty to read, learn and rent from book, movies, and much more!!! Don't forget to sign up for your card!!!
I love this library so much! They have a wonderful children's section, and the dinosaur garden outside is a wonderful place to sit and read on a nice day.
