Live stock event center and the sparks marina Review

The Events Center itself is nice so I'll give it 4stars; however, we went there for a dinosaur exhibit and that I rate 1 star. It was lacking in all aspects. Equipment was run down broken, stations were unmanned or chaotic and unrestricted areas were left unattended! It was a hot mess! Plus, the prices were ridiculous. $40 and $30...we got passes so gave them to others with small kids - once we seen the inside, we were glad we did. Such a disappointment.

One of the most important event center in Reno. Events like rodeo, monster jam, and many other popular events are held here. I feel like they are way busier in summer than winter. Parking is a problem during busy times, still this one of my favorite places in Reno.

We were here for the Reno Rodeo and it was an absolute blast!

Nice facility hosting various events. Parking can be a challenge for larger engagements so take an Uber if you can.

Went here for monster jam... they were limited a bit as the indoor course was smaller, but was still amazing... bring hearing protection...

Well we went to the circus had cotton candy. Made a couple laps around the arena. Watched little bit of the lions and tigers That's all Kayden was ready to go home.

Watered down. Events stretched out over 4 days to increase total income, food prices crazy high and souvenirs insanely priced high and low quality.

We had so much fun at the rodeo! And the carnival and shopping were great as well!

Large space and even filled with vendors and people it didn't feel crowded

Saw Reno Rodeo here, was fun. Lots of events, facility is a bit dated but good views from pretty much any seat

Currently were the health department is doing covid-19 testing. It's a drive-thru with a very short Q-tip, a new test. Appointment only, results in 3 days.

Its a little small for Monster Jam (most recent visit), but I have been going to shows here for 25+ years and still enjoy it. Perfect place for what it was meant to be, rodeo grounds and livestock auctions. The large sets of doors in each corner make it feel open. Staff is always on top of keeping it clean and safe. All in all a solid smaller events center.

Will not attend in 2015 - 40 bucks for a ticket to stand in an oversold arena - No thanks.

Accommodating, clean, spacious and event oriented regardless of full blown rodeo or just a small local junior calf roping competition.

A great venue for a multitude of various types of events from Monster Jam to the Reno Rodeo. They provide a number of family-friendly events that even my smallest kids enjoy. The downside: the price tag. Every time we go, it's literally hundreds of dollars between the show tickets, parking and concessions. It would be nice to be able to take the family out without breaking the bank. The easiest way to get more for your money is research the event you want to attend and get BOGOs or special pricing by buying tickets in advance. Parking off the lot in surrounding neighborhoods (in legal parking spots) and walking to the venue will save as well. Lastly, eat before you arrive and only plan to "snack" while you're there. It's mostly crappy concession-type food anyway, so you won't be missing out on much. And some events are general seating only (no assigned seats) so if you want a good spot, get there early or prepare to squint.

Stopped to see the vendors during HOT AUGUST NIGHTS, we had a great time

It was my first time but I loved it and it will be a tradition we have so much fun the food was delicious the drinks and the Rodeo in general it was amazing so much admiration for all the cowboys and cowgirls, they do wonderful things in the horses very happy and we will comeback.

Great time seeing the various gems and minerals. Most of the vendors were friendly and courteous.

Swap meeting was not quite as good this year during Hot August Nights nut drifting was fun to watch

Horrible place to buy tickets from. The so called manager was completely rude. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. Learned my lesson to just buy the tickets online.

Good event but too small for the monster trucks to do anything fun

I love going to anything there. It means something big is happening and they usually poor together an amazing show no matter what they do.

Lots of events held here...this was Monster Jam and we enjoy it every year. Bathrooms are not always maintained, but I think that's mostly those using it, not the staff's fault. Roomy and lots of fun!

Great facility for a multitude of venues! Some of the Security staffing, that is hired for particular venues, are rude and inconsistent in their policies and attitude! Check ahead on all rules for entry, for All events! They change from one venue to another.

Only one ADA entrance on an arena that big. Live stock grounds not very wheel chair friendly.

Went there to get tested for covid 19 service guys did testing and they where good looking, had good experience hope my test comes back negative , it was was was quick and smooth , thanks for serving guys,

We went to monster jam got there early paid for pit passes and got good seats. We supported the vendors and when my girl friend took our 3 year old to the bath room security made me move to give up there seats to two girls who showed up late and didn't even support the venders. They said this is there rules. If you stand up your seat can and will by force be taken. Absolutely horrible experience missed main event and I will never support the live stock event center ever again.

Attended antique show at this facility. A fair number of vendors in attendance. We were late in arriving but show seemed a bit stale and prices were quite high on many items.

This is a great place for city folk to visit to learn all about the heart beat of America. A place that is alive with true patriots.

Great Horse show facility, love the air-conditioned Arena!

Make sure to get there 2 hours early if you have general admission tickets. Got there an hour early and we had to stand

Whats not to like about the wildest Rodeo in the West?...great facility, World-Class competition, big money....yahoooooo!

Got to watch the monster jam this past weekend for the first time and it was amazing !!

Attended the rodeo here last year, it was a blast. The carnival games for the young children were perfect for my 4 yr old, and there were a lot of cool vendors set up
