First time at this venue and will definitely be my last. Went to see Ward Davis and Charles Wesley Godwin, they were amazing! However, the staff were rude, pushy, insulting, and not friendly or accommodating to their patrons or to the band. The rules were absolutely over the top. This place should become a library and not a music hall. Do not recommend this place to anyone looking to have an enjoyable experience in Charleston. I would have given it a no star if it was possible. Very disappointed.

The Charleston Music Hall has a wonderful, intimate atmosphere, accented with a grand setting. I have seen several concerts here, and there are no bad seats in the place. You can sit in the back row and still feel like you could be talking to the performers on stage.
