Little Moir's Food Shack Review

Baby girl & myself went a little Moir's tonight.
It was getting late in the restaurant wasn't that crowded. They seated us at a high top table which I didn't like. I asked a Hostess that she can move it to another available Booth table and she said they needed to save it for group of four. I felt annoyed and stayed at the high top. We tried to order the rock shrimp appetizer we were informed that they were out of it. So we ordered the calamari fries which I felt were disappointing but baby girl liked them. Then we order the seafood Bowl and split it between the two of us. It was just okay. The decor is done in a orange and black Marine theme which I find very tacky.
I hadn't been to this place in a couple years and now I remember why. When it comes to Seafood I need to go to Captain Charlie's Reef Grill Juno Beach. I would not recommend this place.

I just don't get it. Everyone raves about this restaurant and I think it's ordinary. Or less.

Always an outstanding, creative meal. The calamari appetizer was delicious. Plan ahead as the line to get in is long so have a cocktail and relaxed

Have enjoyed previous dine in, but just picked up crab cake sandwich with sweet potato fries and it was less than great and fries had freezer burn taste and look. Even the dog didn't want them...

I had good foods with my family. We're love seafood ~

Food was delicious and the staff is very friendly. The daily menu always has great options that never disappoint. Portions are large and perfect for sharing, or for someone with a large appetite. Can't wait to come back.

Local gem with great food, especially the fish dishes. Craft beers in bottles and on tap. I tried a delicious wheat brew. I tried the crusted tile fish and she had a well made cheese burger n fries. Mine came over a fresh salad ...very good. Her's with railroad fries. Peggy, our server was excellent and attentive. Prices were good. Try it.... you'll like it!!!

Great food! If you sit at the bar you can watch it being prepared. The cooks are amazing but no women. Why? The place is bit noisy but the volume "fits" the vibe the restaurant projects.

Fantastic funky place with awesome food and ambiance

I got the corvina with this amazing butternut squash crust and salad and it was amazing! Expensive but sooo worth it. The portion was huge and I might have complained except I ate it all! Every last crumb! I couldn t help it. Seriously good food. I got it takeout but looks like it would have been a fun place to eat at. Next time!

Creatively prepared, fresh seafood and other fare. Can't say it's cheap but I definitely can say that it is worth every penny and more. Unfortunately we aren't the only ones who know, so be prepared to wait for seating, but use the time wisely to deepen your appetite and sharpen your taste buds.

Not bad but not worth the usual wait. Try Lanna Thai for a more intimate dinner and authentic Thai food.

Very good service, tasty food. We shared roasted avocado as an appetizer and then had red snapper and Dr. Ordered-salad

Fresh seafood to choose from daily and nice little restaurant

I just can't say enough great things about Food Shack. We've been coming here for the past 5 years and it's our go to spot. We absolutely love it. Today, we had the coconut shrimp, calamari and I had the golden tile butternut, arugula, bacon... it was absolutely amazing.

Very crowded, uncomfortable seating but the food made up for all of it!

There are no words to explain how delicious the food at this hole in the wall fish joint is. Incredible flavor and incredibly fresh fish.

If you don't know, better ask somebody LOL This is a great local place with the best fish. The desserts are to die for. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu or the specials.

The best food ever! You d never know that this little hole in the shopping center has the best tasting most creative dishes ever! I m never disappointed and the staff and environment is just as! If you re hungry and don t want to wait go for lunch, if you have time then dinner. People love this place and it can get crowded but so worth it! You ll come back for sure!!!

Absolutely love Food Shack. It is my favorite restaurant to go out to. I love to visit as frequently as I am able to check out the specials that are changed twice daily! The creativity on the menu and flavors is amazing.

The one drawback is that there can be quite a long wait to be seat depending on the time and day. But it is completely worth the wait. I have never been disappointed at Food Shack.

It has a casual laid-back atmosphere that's great for dining alone, as a couple, or with family. I love bringing my family and friends visiting from out of town to enjoy their unique menu and fresh seafood. Can't recommend Food Shack enough!

Whole heartedly one of the best meals I ve ever had in my life. One of the absolute best food establishments in all of South FL (especially for seafood).

Had a great experience in this spot with my kid. The food comes out rapidly and the customer service is just fantastic. Prices are affordable.

I love this place! I would like to eat there every night while I vacation here in Juno Beach. It's so good and the atmosphere is very Bob Marley. The sister restaurant, Leftovers, is good, too.

We love hanging out. Yesterday we came to this delicious place which we didn t know before. We had a lovely experience there with excellent food and an efficient stuff and a professional cook. We put this restaurant in our list and we will certainly come back very soon. We deeply recommend.

We went on a recommendation from a guy on the beach. Non description place on the outside, very cool inside. Excellent menu, deep in culinary antics. Grouper burrito on special with sweet potato slaw. Had the oyster appetizer, both excellent. Very respectful of my service dog, ADA friendly facility, easy access. This would have been 5stars but the messed up the order and we waited an extra thirty minutes for items that were on the daily special. Super wait staff, clean and tidy facility, we will try again.

Great place, almost missed it..hidden in a strip mall.. i had one of the best mac and cheese and the clams were absolutely excellent.. That will probably become my to go place in Jupiter

Fun atmosphere with live music. Food prices were reasonable for the area, and great craft beers for $5. All the staff was super friendly, and several other families with little ones running around.
Must try the BBQ brussel sprouts, they're amazing. The shack bowl seemed confused about what it wanted to be.

I don't understand at all how this place has such high reviews the service was mediocre and the server swore up a storm like she was talking to her drunk college buddies. The food was uninspired at best everything sounded good but was poorly executed. "Beer" battered fish was burnt and had no flavour the slaws were drowned in dressing and the "crab" appetizer contained nothing but vegtables. All in all very disappointed oh and BTW a wrap is 15.50 ... a lunch wrap who is propagating this place as the end all be all of jupiter?!?!

Place is amazing. What s shocking is that Kraft got arrested in the same strip mall! Lol

My wife and I came here on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. We first enjoyed some sauteed PEI mussels, followed by tasty fish plates; I enjoyed the sweet potato crusted wahoo. The atmosphere is definitely "bohemian" as described by some. You might be taken aback by the fact that it's buried in a strip mall but don't let it distract you from being a great place for a seafood dinner.

Phenomenal restaurant - Fresh Seafood- prepared in a unique way. If you like seafood you might want to try this place.

Great small restaurant with excellent fish and salads. Enjoy the appetizers as well along with the selection of local beer. Can be a bit crowded so go early on especially on weekends.

By FAR one of the best food spots in Florida! Get any fish crusted over leafy greens and you won t be sorry!

One of my favorite spots! We never get tired of grabbing a seat at the counter, watching them prepare food, which is delicious! Everyone is very attentive and welcoming! Whether you re having a cocktail with friends, to dinners with the family, it s always a fun but relaxed spot to visit!

Don't let the size of this place or that it's in a strip mall keep you from going here! The did choices, quality and portions are all awesome. And the service was the same. Can't wait to go back

It appears to be like a local dive restaurant until you read menu and realize you are in hip floribbean food heaven. I loved Grouper in sweet potato crust over greens. Amazing appetizers.
Only reason I gave it 4 stars not 5 is seating is soooooo tight.

Their food is so good! Their staff is friendly and was very informative with the questions that I asked.I loved that my food was served hot! I will be returning again and bringing my friends. Oh! And the prices are great for the food that they serve!

Best seafood in town. Mussel appetizer is the bomb!!
