I saw this restaurant on a BuzzFeed video and decided to try it out with 3 co-workers for lunch. I got the spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was perfectly dense and chewy, not hard or too al dente, or too squishy. They had a very nice substance and mouth feel. The sauce was flavorful. One of the best sauces on it's own I've had out, rich with meat in the sauce. The meatballs we're huge and had a great flavor with a tiny bit of spice at the end. It was really great. I finished the meal with the saffron panna cotta which was amazing. The fruit was especially delicious and fresh in it. I really like the overall atmosphere in the restaurant. It felt like a new york Italian restaurant teleported to LA. Service was a tiny bit absent but the place was packed like crazy so it was understandable. I will definitely go back here soon.
Great brunch spot! Can reserve a table in advance which is awesome. Suggest splitting the french toast with someone - delicious but heavy.
I ate brunch with a friend here and we had a delightful time chatting and eating. The food was very satisfying!
Everything about this place is good. Very good. But diner be aware the prices match the quality (high) and you do not get bread or toast of any kind with your pasta dish. I've never experienced that before.
I think their food is delicious the pasta is out of this world and the ambience of the restaurant is also pretty amazing. Cocktails were fine. Place was comfortable.
It's fine. The chicken parm was highly recommended and fine. The cocktails were fine. The service was fine. The aesthetic of the place is quite nice. It's 4 stars at most and I'll go with the benefit of the doubt.
We went here for my boyfriend's birthday dinner. The food and drinks were great. Everyone is super nice and friendly. We spent a night here enjoying the food, drinks and atmosphere. Worth the visit.
Lovely little Italian. Food we amazing and nice prosecco
Tasty classic Italian place, meatballs are amazing!
It's okay for a local restaurant. The price is quite high, over $10 for a sandwich.
Little Dom s more like Little not. The food portions were small and overpriced. Twenty one dollars plus tax for a small spaghetti and meatballs, that resulted in a stomachache. I would suggest not coming here.
Little Dom's is amazing. They have an amazing Margaretta Pizza. Milo Ventimiglio goes there often.
they will make you feel like julia roberts in pretty women and make you wait but the vibe is classic and the food is worth it. hazelnut gelato sundae i'm looking at you
Food is good if not so busy! Service similar results!
Amazing Food. Quality standard is high. Waiter sat down and told us everything that was on the menu and what it was. Amazing restaurant.
italian food and the atmosphere at this location is super good. Food was so delish. The staff was friendly and observant. It has a nice atmosphere.
had a blast here every time. i probably won't go back for another year at least, but they never disappoint. i'd bet that it's a bunch of fun to go with fewer people but i'll have to wait and see. the next time i get to play NBA Jam with friends, or Pac Man or Street Fighter, it will be sweet.
Good site for delicious italian food. Visited on a Thursday. The place has a good feel to it.
Worst pizza ever, I'm Italian and that's not a pizza! Pasta was horrible too.
The people working there are so rude, and nasty when I ask a question did not know what I was talking about. They will not hire black's never seen one working there. I went in a day ago and had the best cup of coffee a nice young white lady made it. So I decided to take a friend in but the young lady was not longer working there. If you want good coffee it not the place.
I didn't hate it. Google you should be ashamed of your selves. Instead of asking me what I enjoyed, you are asking me to post why I hated this place. I love it
This was a very cute little restaurant in Los Feliz. They had some seating on the sidewalk and inside. The service very pleasant and very attentive.
Pizza burnt at edges but had good flavor. The house specials are tasty as are the desserts. Street parking is somewhat difficult during dinner hours. Staff is pleasant and attentive.
Great breakfast foods and a nice classic atmosphere.
the best deep dish pizza in the Bay Area. definitely rivals the ones i had in Chicago, and a bit disappointed i don't go there as often as i should. stick with the classic deep dish.
This place is delicious! I came here on a Saturday afternoon and was able to get a seat right away. While service was a little slow to start due to a sudden surge of patrons, they were able to catch up a while later.
I had the pancakes and the burger with a side of potatoes. First, the pancakes were amazing. I loved them and had to look wistfully at the empty plate after I finished them. It came with some butter and syrup and it all worked together so well without overwhelming each other. The burger, on the other hand, was mediocre. Nothing truly compelling about it, and I would probably opt for something else next time. But! The potatoes were very nice! They were crispy and had a good flavor to them.
I will definitely be visiting again soon to get another order of those pancakes!
The food was good and the service was excellent. Will come back to try the Bloody Mary which seems very popular.
This Los Feliz spot was recommended to me by an industry member and my group was not disappointed. Delicious true Italian dishes, perfect portion sizes, and a great selection of wines. The restaurant was also able to accommodate our table of 7 without a reservation since we arrived a little earlier in the evening and there was a cancellation. The restaurant was quite busy by the time we left around 8pm. For me, the best part was their gluten free main course pasta option and a few gluten free appetizer and salad selections! We had two children with us under the age of 5 who enjoyed the pizza. I would definitely visit Little Dom s again when I m back in the neighborhood.
Sooo good!!! Get the rice balls. Friendly staff too.
Sea scallops (giant and generous with portions and the excellent side of veggies) and linguine with scallops (and upgraded to the large scallops)... Holy cow the food was good. Very few places in SF knock my socks off, but I thought Sotto Mare was fantastic and unpretentious. Service was decent, but perhaps it was because we were there toward the end of the night (around 10pm on a Friday night). Clam chowder, I've had better but still it enjoyed it here. I thought the prices were quite reasonable for the quality and amount of food we received. Wines were all around or less than $10. Charming spot.
Heard great things about this place. It has a wonderful NY vibe but the food was mediocre (especially the bread.) Chicken Parm was tasty but nothing special.
Small shop with great choices and very friendly staff.
Wonderful place to enjoy a nice dinner or a cocktail at the bar. Great place.
Good but not great Italian food. Nice place for breakfast.
Great garlic knots but you have to demand fresh ones that are not soaked in grease. The wine special is good but not too special on price. Huge portions of good Italian food, not great though, decent value for big parties and a regular night out.
Nice atmosphere but food was too overpriced for food that is not even that great..
love this place! check out the monday special. this is an east side institution <3
This pizza place is delicious.
I had the chicken Caesar pizza it was very delicious. The wings are also very yummy. Great customer service. The place is a bit small but they are in the process of expanding.
I would like for them to offer beer. I inquired about it and they explained that due to religious belief they do not which is totally respectable. Still a great place to eat!
I am a long-time resident of nearby city, La Canada Flintridge and have been patronizing New Moon for years! Tonight was no different...it was very busy and the not unusual waiting period for a Friday night. But my family of four have never been disappointed with the quality of service and food. Owen, the manager and our waiter Steven was awesome. They both took time to ensure that we knew that we had our beverages and explained that the food wait is unusually longer tonight. My family assured bother of them that we were fine with waiting as we knew that it was worth waiting for the yummy food. Excellent time overall!
Farro vegetables side with any of their delicious sandwiches! Egg salad so fresh it's a must with my three sides I pick up !
I love the Ambiance of this place. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Best for dinner not necessarily a place you want to go for breakfast. Don't forget to check out the deli for lunch.
They do not take reservations, but I think the wait is worth it compared to other restaurants. We have only waited for a table of 2.
Stumbled across this place without meaning to, and put our name on the waitlist because food looked really good. Guy managing the line is rude, and consistently tells every party the same thing: "5 more minutes, 5 more minutes." I timed it, and we waited "5 more minutes" for a whole 45 minutes. If I had known, I would've left.
First time visit and enjoyed the atmosphere. The pasta dish was awesome. The pizza was good too. The waitress was great. All good.
Good service, good food! Nothing to complain about, didn't blow my socks off either. Solid 4 stars out of 5!
The pizza place with the stairs offers a nice environment and if you want to see celebrities it is a good place for that too. The favorite is the thin-breaded pizza I eat every time, but they have different food too - I see my friends ordering something else. They are as happy as I am. LD is my favorite place on Hillhurst, closely followed by Home.
Excellent food, atmosphere. Really enjoyed it, so cute inside.
Unfortunately our experience was very negative due to the poor service.
Being only two rather young adults we were continuously neglected. We did not get a table outside, while half the tables were empty and other walk-in guests easily got a table outside.
Also the waitress was not motivated (didn't get any water or bread).
Food is ok ;)
The one and only place I make sure I visit when I'm in L.A.
we recently had the "Monday Special".
the chicken dinner was bland and the service was rushed...
when we brought our disappointment to our wait person we were told that
'The Kitchen was having an Off Night'.
Excellent food and friendly staff! Every course was super good. Our waiter, Brett, was amazing and the manager, Frankie, was awesome and very friendly. Two thumbs up.
So yummy! Very nice staff. We felt safe that they were taking proper precautions given the COVID days among us. Great wine selection and delicious snacks. We stopped at the little market on the side afterwards which was also wonderful. We'll be back again when it's super safe to do so! Thank you!
I think their food is delicious the pasta is out of this world and the ambience of the restaurant is also pretty amazing. Cocktails were fine. Place was comfortable.
Quality food.. great sit down dining
Reccomend
Great American Italian restaurant. The place is quite French Bistro looking and there are plenty of pictures of horses everywhere. Service is good and the food is quite decent although nothing spectacular. The sound level is good so having a catchup with a friend or having a date here is a good option.
Great meal. Try the pancakes with Boar's Head bacon.
So delicious and family friendly! Fresh ingredients, expedited services, and a great atmosphere. I will certainly be back!
Great atmosphere, food and cocktails. It's relatively small and often busy so make a reservation.
A good spot in Los Feliz with a great ambiance and a good dinner. $18 prix fixe menu on Monday evenings :-) I had the prix fixe menu with their goddess salad, ragatoni with diced tomatoes and lima beans, and a cream puff for dessert. It was good, but a bit underwhelming in flavor and the dishes did not seem to complement very well.
I recommend the Penicillin cocktail!
Classic, delicious, a Los Feliz Institution. Streetside dining with a kind of European Flair as well. Delicious cocktails, great breakfast too.
Pretty classic. Unlikely I can tell you anything new, but let me add to the love for the rice balls. I'm also a fan of the hanger steak.
So happy there is a ramen place in La Crescenta / Montrose Area.
My 3 year old daughter and I had a wonderful lunch. It was tasty, customer service was great and friendly.
We will be returning.
Thanks for awesome food and prompt service!
Little Dom salad enough for me and partner to share leftovers for dinner. Meatball sandwich spicy and rich!
Great service and super thin Pizza. Did not like the flavor of the meatballs.
Good food. A bit on the "foodie" side, but excellent flavors, we'll presented and wonderful servers that seem to really be enjoying themselves.
They never fail me on my high expectations. Great interior from the outside until the inside part of the restaurant. They strive to provide us the best service that exceeds our expectations. I need to come back because it's a good one. Job well done on the presentations.
Little Dom's is a fantastic place with great atmosphere and top notch food. I came here for their Monday night supper and it was great. The bartenders are extremely talented and make great cocktails too! Highly recommended!
Great customer service! Fantastic food! Our host made a point that we were comfortable as can be. The bartender gave us a whole back story on the drinks. They were friendly and made our experience perfect !!!
The food was overpriced and the servings were way too small for what you were paying. Left the place still feeling hungry. The food didn t taste freshly made either. The only reason that I m giving it 2 stars is because the staff was nice.
Fun neighborhood hangout with eclectic menu and good cocktails
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. It is terrific. I make the trip from the Westside at least once a month. I have never had a better smoked salmon pizza. It is better than Spagos, in my opinion. The breakfast/brunch potatoes are spectacular. Just get there early because sometimes they run out! Yikes
