4.5 is about the appropriate rating. i had one of the best dishes i've ever had and i can't even remember the name of it. it was a special that had broccoli stalk base, creamy white wine sauce, small soft pasta, clams, and a toasted bread/ nut crumble. it was just too small of a portion and too expensive to justify the 5'er. Ill be back for a Monday night supper or whatever their discount night is and want to try a few of the other notable dishes. I should also make a point to try the cafe that's attached. over heard good things.

Had the best Poached eggs i ever had, with porcini mushrooms. The hollandaise source was perfect , service was great, and so was the atmosphere.
Highly recommended.

I had the ravioli stuffed with burrata in a vegetarian sauce with mushrooms and other veg. Super delicious! The ambience is really cool. If you order a salad, expect a massive portion. We spotted some celebs too.

The best of the best. I feel like this comes in my top five best spots to eat breakfast and lunch and dinner. This being the top one. Pancakes are too good to be in existence (out of this world pancakes).

The food was good, but it was generally underwhelming considering that I paid over $50 for a small bowl of soup, a small salad that didn't include one of the major ingredients listed on the menu and, oily garlic bread (I think it was supposed to be garlic bread) that wasn't focaccia, and a plate of clams. The clams were worth the price. But not the other items. Plus, every bit of my order came out at once, instead of as I asked, one thing at a time so that I could actually enjoy the food without the anxiety of having to rush through each plate. And...I didn't even drink (alcohol). There is better fare at the same price elsewhere as well as hostesses that are friendlier. I probably won't return.

I feel like it s easy to make good Italian food but much more difficult to make exceptional Italian food - Lil Dom s has that down pat. My friend and I shared a salad and two main dishes and literally everything was delicious. Even the simple side salad had an incredible combination of flavors and textures. A special shout out to our waitress Emma who was on point and cheerful from start to finish. When I asked her for recommendations, she gave the best description of food I ve ever heard.

Hands-down the best place for a casual dinner with a date or just friends. Brunch is also amazing! The food is always great, the staff is polite and friendly. There is nothing bad I could ever say about Little Dom's.

I loveloveLOVE Sotto Mare! They do seafood, and they do it WELL. I try to go during weekday lunch, so the wait isn't as long, but dinner and weekends tend to involve a wait. My favourite dish is the smoked salmon pasta in a cream sauce... mmm...

The food was great. The thin crust margherita pizza was excellent. Dinner bread was meh. QUITE pricey. We were a table of six and each one us ordered an entree.A margherita pizza starts at $15 but to have toppings is more. One of the pizzas we ordered had prosciutto (+6), pepperoni (+5), arugula (+2), mushrooms (+2). So, for a personalize pizza (only comes in 1 size) for 1 person was $30. A bit steep. The most disappointing part of our dinner was the poor customer service. The staff never came back with the oil and vinegar we requested and our second round of alcoholic beverages. I talked to 2 people in the staff, our server as one of them, to let them know of our situation but their response was so lackluster and uncaring that it left us feeling with such horrible tastes in our mouths. We swore never to come back again.

Ever since the popular BuzzFeed episode that featured pasta, I've been wanting to try Pasta Sisters. Finally had the chance to make the drive out to LA to give this pasta restaurant a try. The location is nowhere fancy - located in a small plaza by a Laundromat and donut shop with very limited parking. Lots of street parking, but the area is quite busy with local traffic. The storefront is not big either. Bar seating and about 2-3 tables, so come early or with a very small group (or order take-out).

On my first trip to San Fran seven years ago, randomly wandered into this gem. I vowed if I ever returned to the bay area, I would be back. Though under new ownership since my last trip, they haven't skipped a beat. I ordered the same thing as last time (NE Clam Chowder and Seared Sea Scallops w Steamed Veggies and an oyster shooter), and it was just as I remembered.

I don t get the hype about this place. Their noodles are angel hair style and didn t have much flavor. The price is also crazy high for basic italian food. Good wine and cocktails - but save your money.

Little Dom's is simply the best! This Italian restaurant with a New Orleans influence offers the best dishes - although I am always sad when one of my favorites is off the rotation. Ask for: rosemary wood oven chicken; Cornish game hens; Alligator steak; Alligator meatballs.

This popular neighborhood corner location, with glazed Italianate Deco facade, and warm wood interior is old school in all the right ways.

From the bar, a crisp, cold Negroni with house Plymouth Gin sets the proper tone for a night in Little Italy. Served up. Trust me.

At 4.2 I'd say this restaurant is overrated. There's nothing wrong with the place really. It's a decent enough Italian joint, but the food isn't THAT spectacular, and is full not of local hipsters, but rather touristy types who seem to feel they are having the hipster experience. Thumbs up, just not a 4 star place to me.

I am sick and tired of being charged $50 for a $7 meal. This was clearly a bad decision and you should avoid this place at all costs. We received a 1/2 baked, threadbare pizza the size of 2 outstretched hands as well as a small dish of cold spaghetti that I could hold in one palm. I live a 1/2 block away and picked up the food myself immediately. I regret not refusing to pay when I received it in this manner. I leave very few negative reviews but this is over the top.

The ricotta blueberry pancakes continue to be the best, but this review now focuses on dinner.
The spaghetti and meatballs is a delicious entree. Simple ingredients, yet very tasty. I liked it better than the lasagna, which was also good. The last time we had ordered the cheesy rice balls we were disappointed at how bad they were. This time around, they were perfect.

VeRy Overpriced. Food was great, but WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. I went there by myself, ordered the Chicken Parmesan with a side of Spaghetti, and only drank water. Check came to $41. That's way too much.
The food was top notch, but I felt like I got hit over the head when the check came.
A weird item on the check was the "health insurance charge". I guess they figured they can't raise their prices more than they already are, so they add this 4% charge to the bill, and explain that it is to pay for their employees health coverage. After, tax, tip, and paying for their health insurance, it cost me 50 bucks to have a plate of chicken parm with a side of pasta.
I'll go back after I win the lottery

Lovely Italian restaurant.

Lovely Italian restaurant.

My perfect meal to split- Bottle of Lambrusco, Arugula Salad, Rice Balls, and Spaghetti Bolognese.

SOOO good.

TIP: Can get pretty busy, and they don't take reservations over the phone, so come earlier in the evening, or be prepared to walk around while you wait. (They'll call you when the table is ready)-- You can eat a full meal at the bar though!

Came here before a concert at the Greek Theatre. We had a reservation right at dinner opening, 5:30. It was a good thing we had one, because the place was completely full within 30-45 minutes. The Italian fare is a nice change up from your typical Italian restaurant, although the classic standbys are still available. Their spaghetti and ravioli are excellent, and I was even more impressed with their crescenza dish. The bread pudding dessert was also wonderful. The restaurant was a bit more expensive than I would've expected, but the food was definitely well worth the price.

Found this 24 Carat gem of a a local Italian eatery after a Concert at the Greek Theater on 8/11/18. At 6:30 p.m., the place was super busy. We came back after the Concert, at 11:00. There were lots of diners & folks outside (at tables), still enjoying the hot August night. Open until Midnight on Saturday.
Ordered Spaghetti & Meatballs- $19.00, & the food was served within 10 minutes. I was so blown away by how incredible this food was, I made sure to give our highest compliments to the kitchen. This sauce was as close to my mother's friend from upstate N.Y., an Italian family with a Restaurant decades ago. The meatballs were HUGE, & beyond words. Pure Beef, beautifully seasoned, with a hint of Red Pepper for just the right amount of "heat."
We will definitely be returning; it's well worth the drive, the wait for a table, & the list of Desserts not yet tried!!
Bravo, Little Dom's!

The cioppino is incredible! The half carafe of sirah tasted bad by itself but was perfect with the meal. Impressed that I had left a voicemail regarding our reservation and was called back right away. Very crowded, narrow restaurant. Very fun and delicious!

Pizza is definitely a personal preference thing. For me, the pizza at Little Dom's is too thin, but if that's what you're into you will enjoy. Cute place. Sat at Jon Hamm's table. Ingredients are great and fresh and all the pasta dishes were fantastic. Cauliflower "Risotto" and Mushroom Bolognese were can't miss items.

I adore this spot! They offer excellent meals, their menu is rich, The chief cook in that restaurant is a real pro, I enjoy very much trying all their dishes. The dishes are consistently tasty, the service towards the customers is helpful. I often go to this restaurant and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it to all my friends.
