Was there for 10 minutes and I never even got served, walked out and nobody cared
They have high quality entertainment, great sound, I saw Teledonna there. The food and staff were absolutely incredible!
Kerry Pastine. and the CrimeScene were out of this world!!!!
My wife has been talking about this place for a couple of years from something she had read. So, on our trip through Colorado I took her for a late lunch and beers.
The place has character. Bras, etc. hanging on the stage, tables and bar was about like any you would see in a joint.
Live music was good, not too loud for an afternoon crowd.
The food was good and tasty, we had just your basic burgers, fries and beer Service was quick once we entered, but, was slow as time went by.
Parking for motorcycles was convenient.
Very Reasonable Prices for a Gift Shop In The Rocky Mountains
Cool place to have a party with your friends, listen good music and drink beer.
Awsome place to grab a beer and have a nice evening listening to music. I moved to colorado with my wife from Puerto Rico and somehow we got lost and ended up here. Cheers to that.
Everything about this place is fun: the music, down home locals, the burgers were average, but the beer on tap was great!
Same fun place I remember from my past! Great memories!
Loved the food and great atmosphere. Local musician played and sang while we ate. Love to go back!
Food was good but the place took a little to get used to.The place is great for bands. Needs bathrooms upgraded!!
Great service, fun atmosphere. Delicious burger. Perfectly cooked pink all the way through. Burgin'? Come here and get your satisfaction.
Classic little mountain town bar. Only 30 minutes or so outside of Denver this is a great place to grab a drink and listen to live music. Don't forget to ask for a marker to sign your name, or add a dollar bill to the walls!
This place goes back to the 70's (maybe the 60's) and the decor (license plates, dollar bills and photos of musicians on the walls and ceilings) prove it. The burger my partner and I had was pretty good. For $11 it should be! The guy playing his guitar was pretty good too. Not bad for a Sunday afternoon in Evergreen.
Good beer and the salsa was good, but don't bother with the guacamole (ours looked a day old). We stopped here after a hike for a little refreshment. There was a guy playing live music who was really very good, but they serve the beer in plastic cups (instead of chilled mugs) and the place was "old and tired" and, well, dark! Lots of bras hanging around the stage signaled that this is a party place more than anything. Probably the kind of local dive where lots of shots are bought and things get a little crazy. I probably would have liked this place in my college days but next time I think we'll drive a little further for our post-hike beer!
Food was ok dried out 1st 2 bands were good, but last band checked and tested so much we left
The fact that both Google and your WEBSITE say open until 11pm and when I call at 1020 for food, you tell me your closed. I drive up there and sure enough the doors are locked and all the employees are just chatting around the bar. Truly disappointed. Fix your hours!!
Just stopped in for lunch on a motorcycle ride beautiful scenery both up and down the mountains
The little bear has been in Evergreen as long as I can remember and I'm just amazed on the amount talented musicians that have played their over the years.
And such a small venue.
So if you're ever in Evergreen you should stop by to say you've been in the famous Little Bear
Fun place and good bar food. Historic building and must-visit tourist destination. Great local gathering place, too, with awesome live music groups. Come with your dancing boots on!!
Service needs help. They also need to clean up all the garbage off the walls. It's starting to look trashy. Otherwise, it's well worth it.
Good for hole in the wall fun, live music and fried food.
In for Denver for a week. Drove up to Evergreen to eat and drink at the Bear....was closed....what a disappointment. Website says NOTHING about being closed.
Please get your sh*t together for the rest of your patrons
Friendly bar staff and good food! Well-deserved legendary status.
the little beer is a fun place to hear a variety of music groups. You can enjoy your choice of a pizza, Wings, nachos or other choice is to go along with a cold relaxing beverage.
Great atmosphere--if you like roadhouses. Food is mediocre.
The food is terrible, service wasn't great but they did have live music that wasn't too bad. The kids thought it was hilarious that there were bras hanging from the walls.
I am an Evergreen native. The little bear used to be cool and fun, now it is lame at best. The doorman is a little twerp. Save your cover money and go to cactus
Always have good live music! Food and service right up there as well.
My husband and I went here for our 30th Anniversary there was a live band playing was very cool awesome atmosphere
Food was not very good and service was a bit spotty. Enjoyed the band!
Really cool bar, probably the best in evergreen area. Chill crowd , live music, good food. And to me, mainly, they get Shakedown Street to play regularly. Also seen JGB, Merlin Saunders here in the past.
good to go. Good time there weeks ago with my friends
Historic little place, great people, always great music. Just so small
I have never had too much fun but come close at Little Bear!
Buffalo burger was raw raw like slimy raw waiter only bought are food never came back only for are ticket she asked me do you want a new one i said yes please the cook ask to see the old one like if im lying about it and then instead of getting me a new one he used that slimy one smh Never again.
Live music. Good atmosphere. A little loud. My big knock on this place is the service. Felt bad, but they really need more waiting staff and bartenders. Open tables were not bussed and we had to stand for 10 minutes till we finally decided to bus our own table. Did not take our food order for twenty minutes and the table next to us said they had been waiting for their food for 40 minutes. There was a pile of food at the window waiting to be served, but the waitresses just kept walking right by it. The food sounded good, but we left with empty stomachs. Very disappointing.
Went to this place with some friends service was great friendly staff until we go outside to get on our motorcycles to leave and someone threw a drink all over our bikes the bar has a camera pointing where our bikes were setting I'm in the process of trying to get them to review the footage but no luck yet. Very disappointed
Great burgers after a long hike. Live music was nice. Definitely a good choice out of the choices we saw on our trip.
Dirty plays dirty bathrooms you can only figure out what else is dirty
Service poor and food ok. Fun and nostalgic venue. Good music.
I will always love this place. I've had so many memories here. Tammy has been there for...a very long time. She is hilarious.
Great rockin music and rock history of Evergreen. The place to see the best bands. And the photos of famous rockers who have played here. And the next generation of music history. This place rocks!
Fun and authentic. A true original. Great music regularly and a relaxed mountain town atmosphere.
My Dad tells me that little bear has not changed since he was in his 20s. I'm tending to believe it without hesitation. I love it here, so unique, so chill. If you have never tried a burger piled high with cooked and rich mushrooms, this is the place to try it.
Today, we visited one of our favorite spots in Evergreen (we re locals). So, disappointing and it ended with food poisoning. If there was a wrose pizza contest, Little Bear would take first place. The stew like meat, greasy cheese, crust tasted like baking soda. We couldn t even finish one slice! Ugh!
I gave Little Bear this four star review, six years ago... Every Wednesday we take the family for pizza night! Great prices food and drink specials. Would give five stars but its pretty dirty and needs new booths.
We stopped going because of the drunken bar fights at 4:30pm on a Wednesday night.
Great super old dive bar in the heart of Evergreen.
Such a cool old place wish we could of stayed longer
Food was not good. Building was a really cool old building.
Just a good old place to hang out and listen to some really good music with friends!
I finally returned to The Little Bear after some time away. It is the same as it ever was. But that is the mystique of this decades-old Evergreen bar/restaurant/night club. Awesome musical guests on Fridays and Saturdays. Good local bands the rest of the time. Standard bar fare for food. The one highlight for me was the Buffalo burger. Low in fat content and high in flavor. Four stars only because my appetizers and main course were served simultaneously and our specialty brewed beers were served in plastic cups. (Part of the atmosphere? ) Maybe.
If you're from out of town, this is a must-see Evergreen stop for you... history, food and music. Family-friendly during the day and serious music, dancing and drink for the adults in the evening. Locals, tourists and Denver folk all in one fun place. Always a good time when I visit here.
Classic juke joint saloon with good food and live music. Check out the upstairs. I grab a beer there everytime I'm in Evergreen. Love the rustic feel and old wood.
Was good food service and entertainment!!! But pricy...
This place does not serve good food. The fries were overcooked and tasted like cardboard. I told them if they could switch me so I could eat the chips. Some part of a 8 inch long chip were hard to literally crack teeth and some parts were underdone. I was recommended to this place and the only thing that was so so was the burger I ate. All the cups they served were plastic so people were drinking beer out of plastic material. I would give you a recommendation. To to the sunflower cafe instead. Even though I have never been there do that instead of wasting money on a ten dollar burger that is well done and chips or French fries that are overcooked. The service was also bad. They came around once after I got the food till the check. 5 star reviewers need to think once about the visit
love this place when Chancers Hooley is playing. The food is quite good
Good people running this place. Caught Austin Young Band and the blew the roof off.
The lunch we had was gross...cheap greasy hamburger meat, onion rings cooked in rancid-tasting grease, returned to waitress for french fries, also cooked in same grease. The waitress was attentive and pleasant, and said she was sorry for the bad meal, made no mention however, of adjusting price or making it right. Oh forgot to mention, the tables have deep carvings in surface, filled with crumbs, crud and no telling what. Yuck! This place needs to be condemned!
Food is good service was great place was dirty and beer was warm
