Litchfield Review

Valerie Stewart was very helpful in referring me to an agent here in Ohio that helped me in finding the house I'm currenty staying at and plan to use that agent again. If it wasn't for Valerie Stewart I might have never found this house that I love so much. I hope she can keep up the hard work and keep giving people there hopes and dreams on buying a house.

One of the nice things about the Litchfield company is the connections they have with other real estate companies. When we were making a move out of state our agent Valerie Stewart referred me to a realtor who eventually sold my home.

She gave us some local "hot spots" to visit and was always available for any need we had! She made our experience one to remember! First time staying with this company on vacation and will not return. We stayed at a villa which was not too bad. Things just were not as clean as I thought should be, both toilets had a loose seat or moved when sitting down, one bathtub had dirt in it, trash under couch, mold in one bathroom. Our fridge started acting up and they said they would be back to fix it but never did, which resulted in some of our food going bad. Then there is the damage deposit which I was told would not be charged but did. Customer service would have probably been great if we didnt have to call about any issues. I had thought we'd get past for the resorts beach access (a friend stayed at a vila and got one) but was told we wouldn't get one. Could have been worse but definitely have had better experiences elsewhere.

We worked with The Litchfield Company to purchase a home in the area and were blown away with the level of service that they provided. We were very hands on in the process and they were more than happy to answer all of our questions and guide us through every step. Courtney Koonce and the Jamie Beard Team worked hard to find us the perfect property at a great price and made the closing process very easy. We would highly recommend the company and will use them again!

We have been coming to Litchfield to vacation for the last 10 years and this was the worst experience we have ever had. We rented the Dale House and this house should not be rented in the condition it is in. There was mold on the ceiling, the upholstery was covered in cat urine (we brought beach chairs inside to sit down), the disposal didn t work, and the mattress pads were covered in cat hair. The cabinets in the kitchen were covered in a greasy substance, the stove was literally falling off the hinges and almost every piece of furniture was broken. There were stains on the upholstery and comforters (some that looked like blood). We were disgusted and called the office at least 5 times and went by the office to voice our complaints and no one ever returned our calls. We emailed after our stay to discuss the horrible, unsanitary condition the rental was in and received no apology or reparations. They need to fix the condition of this house before allowing families to be duped into renting. Had I known more about this house, I would have never brought my children and stayed here (especially as I am pregnant). Very disappointed.

Beautiful. Big. Well kept. Ill be staying here from now on when I visit.

We have moved from state to state many times throughout the years but working with Valerie and Dan Stewart Team was our best moving experience we've ever had. They are friendly, knowledgable and true professionals. They negotiated us the best deal possible on the oceanfront. We love Pawleys Island!

When we came in to town to look at a few condos. Diane was very responsive, listened to what we were looking for, and we found the perfect place. Extremely receptive to our wants and needs, and interrupted her schedule to help us find out place. Now the deal is done and she is still helping us, and now we consider her a friend. I have used The Litchfield Company since the day I started looking for residence in 1997. I was introduced to Valerie Stewart and instantly bonded with her energetic personality and willingingness to help me in any way needed. She actually brought me as a guest to a home on the ocean (a fellow realtor) who was having a party in which they were grilling fresh fish (YUM) and introduced me to many people. We were about to open our first restaurant Eggs Up Grill so Valerie did alot of PR work on my behalf. That was the beginning of a lasting friendship and we continue to use her when seeking interests in real estate!!
