Im a recording artist from Dallas Texas and I found this Recording Studio to be VERY nice, interesting, and laid back. With their welcoming spirits and great taste in music, as well as their wonderful audio engineers, it sets the right vibe for artists to come in comfortably and create great music!

I came all the way from New Jersey to visit the legendary Listen Vision Studios by Howard's Campus. Walking into the studio you will be able to see that the hip hop culture is still alive and powerful. The studio is filled with eager and impressive individuals who helped me with any questions/inquiry I had about the studio.

Horrible prices for rehearsing and recording, bad customer service, couldn't answer easy questions with professionalism instead I got sarcasm and a 3rd grade joke. I asked if there were any other recording studios nearby and they lied, telling me they were the only one in the Tristate area. These guys seem full of themselves.
I recommend 7DrumCity over these guys for rehearsal. Way better rates and staff.

Went to listen visions a couple of times. There site is out of date and when you purchase studio time from the site you don't receive any of the daily promotions. Turns out you have to call to and schedule time to receive any promotion. But that info isn't put on the site at all. Also when you order on the site nobody contacts you afterwards to schedule either so you have to call regardless and still won't get the promo deal if you ordered online. Also if you order online they charge you a hidden fee that they receive from paypal, but paypal is the only option they have to purchase online??? started calling in to pay and schedule so the studio still owes me 1-2 free masters but instead i asked to have my stems for 2 of my songs and they charged me. Wouldn't let me exchange $50 masters for $25 stems. The studio also looks nothing like the pictures real worn out and out of date you could definitely find better quality somewhere else. The engineers are great even though they aren't listed on the site as well. They have a high turnover rate so you may not work with the same person for long. Overall horrible experience. If I didn't like the engineers i would have stopped coming a while ago. Will no longer be back to Listen Visions. And I'd recommend artist look somewhere else.

Great staff, excellent studio for all genre, live internet shows and a must see incredible hip hop museum. Truly a one of a kind experience.

I see why they're rated DC's #1 studio! The first time I went, I went in to record some new stuff and ended up coming back to re record some of my old songs from different studios. I worked with G and I sounded way better than any other studio I've recorded at. Saw their ad on Facebook after the snow storm, regarding a free hour in the studio or a free show on their radio station. The managers are real down to earth, who tried to get to know me on a personal level and as an artist; as well as what kind of music I was interested in making. You will get your money's worth.

Buyer beware...go elsewhere. All they do is take your money and either do little or give you low quality music...All the good music engineers don't stay. And they have a no give back money policy- that one fines out about after the fact. It's really apparent they want money upfront without delivering their side of the bargain, which is produce music. Keep your money and time and go elswhere. WARNING. Don't give them a penny you'll be in the hole. The beat bar is garbage. Not much good sounds in there and even if you did find a good beat, what they can do with it is poor. This place may have been good back in the days, to bad I wasn't around then but now it's gone down hill. I cut my losses Oct 2017, tried them out 2016 thru 2017, hoping things would get better, but it never did. Sherman is nice, but the owner's policy is a BIG ISSUE. And once your money is in, you can't get it out. Shady.

I had a great time at Listen Vision! Talented engineers, great management, and the beat bar is sweet. You can't go wrong with Listen Vision. The best part is they haven't changed their prices in over 10 years!

I've heard about Listenvisions for a while. I came for a free tour and met the white guy that owns the place. This studio has history, from working rap legends such as Jay Z back in the day, to Wynton Marsalis. This studio is versatile not prone to just rappers and singers. I recorded a song at my home studio, brought it to Listenvision's for mastering. Shout to Awthentik for the master. I will be having all my songs from now on mastered here.

This place is the dopest. I wish I could just hang out here all the time. Their services are extremely extensive, with everything from recording studio time, to having your own weekly TV show. They also copyright your material, market your work, and shoot and edit photos and music videos. The staff is well-trained and professional. Looking around the studio, I also saw that the owner has worked with and produced for tons of famous artists, including Run DMC, Wu Tang Clan, Rick Ross, Flo Rida, Walle, and a bunch more that I can't remember. I can see why they're DC's #1 recording studio, and the world's biggest online radio station.

Found out about Listen Vision through a friend. After viewing their podcast setup I was sure that this would be the new home of my show. The studio is always full of good people and better vibes. Any issues or requests that I had were tended to in a timely fashion and the service is always top notch!

DC's #1 Recording Studio! Without a doubt Listen Vision is one of the best recording studio's that I have ever stepped foot in. They offer so many services at such amazing rates. On top of that, they have so many deals and bundles. The owner and employess are also super nice and accomidating. The engineers are obviously passionate about music and it shows in their quality of work. Definitely my new go-to studio. They truly are number 1 for a reason!

Had to come back and talk about Listen Vision studios and their radio station WLVS. I had too much of a good experience there not to share it with everyone else who is looking for either recording time or a radio show. I personally went there to book my radio show, and I was shocked how their broadcast was streamed simultaneously through video and audio. I didn't even know that technology existed in modern radio! This place is a must see.

If you are looking for a local station to launch your media/tv/podcast viewership - this is the place!!! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The space is adequate to host between 1-3 guest comfortably. Come for a tour - you won't be disappointed.

This small full-service studio hosts weekly radio shows like "Cooking with Alli" on WLVS radio which you can listen to and watch online. Located directly across from Howard University, Listen Vision Studios offers music video production, radio and television post production services, live-audio installation and event coordination, streaming radio services and fast track multimedia training courses with the Listen Vision Academy.

Time with Listen Vision was dope. Recording came out nice and I was real happy with the final mix. Will for sure keep my tab on them.

Online radio in the heart of DC... great experience at the studio.

I got 2 hours to record there and it was cool. I had Smokeyy K as the engineer and he knows what to do. His beats are fire too. Everyone there was so helpful and I appreciate the time. It was a dope experience.

I had took a trip all the way from Orlando up to the nations capital and I just had to stop by Listen Vision. Not only was the service and the outcome of the product great and money well spent but I really loved the vibe.

I came in town from Detroit and I heard that Listen Vision was the best recording studio in DC. I was not disappointed. I reserved a 5 hour block and had a great recording experience. I worked with engineer Danny who was very knowledgable and professional. I will definitely return to Listen Vision in the future whenever I am in the area.

I came to Listen Vision Studios to record a few songs for my upcoming R&B record (Coming out on Datpiff and iTunes August 23) and I have to say I loved it here! The employees were very nice and knew exactly what to do to make my mix sound professional and clean. The best thing I must say would be the microphones that they used on my voice, which made the mix sound nice and warm. This will HANDS-DOWN be the studio I do all my recording at. Can't get much better then this!

Listen Vision has the best customer service! Everyone was very professional and welcoming. I would definitely say that my best music came out of this studio. If you're looking for high quality recording I highly suggest Listen Vision.

I've heard about Listen Vision a number of times from my friends and they even contacted me but I already had a nice set-up at another studio. It wasn't until I actually decided to come in and take a tour that I was convinced I should record here. For one, this place is legit. Like, they have a radio show, a receptionist, and like offices, like its an actual business. On top of that, they have established artists come in like friggin Rick Ross! As far as recording goes, I worked with G Money and I mean it was quality work; from the mix and master to the production. I already wrote the song before hand and he really worked with my vision and made it come to life. Highly recommended studio!

Work with several artist here when I'm in the DMV area. Unique engineers..
Downstairs need an upgrade tho.

I have never had a better experience broadcasting then at Listen Vision Recording Studios. I booked time for a one time radio promo show and it was great. Listen Vision had affordable rates and their gear is very advanced. The staff was extremely helpful as well. I forgot to send them my videos earlier but they were cool with it and it got done before my show started. Everything went smoothly and I am definetley going back.

Listen Vision has to be the greatest studio in Washington D.C. I'm an artist about to drop my album and they helped me with my recording, production, photography, radio play. They have great instrumentals as well. It's perfect and the one stop shop for all an artist's needs. Great staff as well!! They always have the artist best interest in mind and share the same vision. Definitely coming back to Listen Vision!!

DO NOT USE THIS STUDIO. They're highly unprofessional, unskilled, and dishonest. My friend and I came into Listen Vision to record 2 songs and they BUTCHERED one of our songs. The sound quality was the worse we've ever heard from a studio before. And when asked to help, instead of being honest with us and telling us no, they pretended to try to help, and sent us back THE EXACT SAME FILE. We felt very taken advantage of from these people, and urge the public to not use this studio ever.

I did a one time radio show with WLVS radio, and I absolutely loved it. I was a little nervous at first, but the DJs were so nice and professional, and they made sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. I will definitely be back, I really feel I got my money's worth.

Listen Vision has already made history by becoming DCs official home of the Hip-hop museum but they are also the place to be. Love this place, they have always treated us like family. It's a great community hub and meeting place for local musicians and artists. The radio shows and parties are always welcoming and full of great local talent. The new cannabis community forums are an awesome way to meet and great DC native cannabis enthusiasts.

I came in from Pennsylvania and made a stop at Listen Vision to do a radio broadcast. I was extremely impressed by the great customer service and chill vibe of the studio. I brought a bunch of media clips that they were able to convert no problem, and Jay ran my broadcast without a hitch. I ll definitely be dropping by again.

Great experience and opportunity for local artist in the city. My guy Igor is one hell of a Engineer/producer that will have your sound brought to life. I recommend going to listen vision to have your project sounding AMAZING.

I went to an event here for Howard Homecoming. They were showcasing up and coming DC rappers. It was extremely small and not enough seating to accommodate all the people that showed up. They were selling more than rap which was highly visible from opening the door. It was scheduled to be an outdoor event where children were welcome but because of the rain it was moved inside. They were rude and obnoxious about children being inside and as opposed to mentioning this, they approached people with children and evicted them, embarrassingly, in from of the entire congregation. I felt bad for them because it was unnecessary and petty. The atmosphere was not welcoming at all!

I came to town from Charleston, SC needing to book a voiceover session that would eventually be played at the Washington, D.C. Convention center. I was incredibly pressed for time but the staff at Listen Vision was accommodating and helped me out SO much. It turned out even better than I had expected. 10/10 would recommend

The rates they charge for the equipment they have are unreasonable. They have inferior equipment compared to all other studios I've been to. Their auto tune made me sound very bad as well, the worst I've sounded at any studio. On top of this, they didn't fulfill their flat rates. I will be disputing the charges with my credit card company shortly. I believe it would be foolish to waste your time and money here when there's studios around the area with much better prices, equipment, and ethics. Now as for the tough question: where should you go? I would recommend you to try others like Cue Recording Studio in Fairfax, that is a good one. Experience and reviews from sources close to you will reveal the answer to the question. I bid you good luck in your quest and hope you don't across a studio like this! :)

What impressed me most about Listen Vision was the amount of services offered in the company from album deals, to photo shoots, radio advertisement etc. From touring the studio there are numerous records along the walls with some of the top artists in the game who have done work in Listen Vision. Prices for services are reasonable and the quality is top notch. Engineers and staff are professional and do great work. Certainly would recommend Listen Vision to others.

Came to DC from the west coast and decided to use their services while I was there. Great equipment, friendly staff, and overall positive and supportive environment.

One of the best things about this studio is they are not just a recording studio, they are committed to the artists they work with. They offer music video services,radio advertisement,and even album deals. All of these services are centered around the artist and getting your music out there in the social media platform. I came to purchase a mixtape deal and they did everything for me even the mixtape design.

Listenvision studios is such a awesome place to record music,the staff is great and producers/engineers are very well skilled. This place has alot of famous musicians in the area that come and record here. Not mention the staff is very great. This is a great place to record
