I went to an event here for Howard Homecoming. They were showcasing up and coming DC rappers. It was extremely small and not enough seating to accommodate all the people that showed up. They were selling more than rap which was highly visible from opening the door. It was scheduled to be an outdoor event where children were welcome but because of the rain it was moved inside. They were rude and obnoxious about children being inside and as opposed to mentioning this, they approached people with children and evicted them, embarrassingly, in from of the entire congregation. I felt bad for them because it was unnecessary and petty. The atmosphere was not welcoming at all!
