Got two traffic cam tickets for going 36 in a 25. Hard to believe I was going exactly the same speed both times. It s more likely that they just set it for a minimum of 36.

They were both on a Sunday with light traffic. A cop was suppose to be present but I doubt it. His signature was preprinted on the ticket.

Someone told me they can t enforce them if don t pay the fine. Most like me probably just pay it.

Lindale s been getting away with preying on motorists for decades. It s their little money maker. They don t care about safety. They just discovered an opportunity and are exploiting the hell out of it.

At least the State kicked them off of 71. I know the city doesn t care but I avoid Lindale like the plague that it is.

The officer threatened me over the phone that he was going to tow my car because my daughter s name wasn't on the insurance card she presented to him.
Insurancee card had my name and VIN and make of the car on it,he said she had to have her own name on it .There is only my name and my wife's name on the card. All insurance cards say two people only (the policy holders .I asked the officer his name and he did not give it to me ,I asked him what infractions she was being pulled over for ,he said he did not have to tell me .hmm .My daughter returned home with no situation And nothing with the officers name on it .NOT VERY HAPPY WITH THE TURN OUT .Thanks to the officer who ever you are now I have to tell my daughter that not all of you are honest and one more thing the police officer wouldn't let her turn on the heat in the car but allowed her to keep the car running ,nice it's only 12 degrese outside .My daughter was treated like a criminal but I have no citation!!! Lindale talk to your rookies ,please be aware that the officers you have sent out to protect and serve are not being far.

I am glad Linndale has taken the effort to protect its citizens against people like me, who drive 36 mph through their beautiful town. I would rather get pulled over by a human being than get a picture of my car in the mail with a bill for driving - supposedly - 36 mph. What can I say - I like speed and I live on the edge. Take your $125 + the fee I had to pay to give you my money and .....

Yeah... maybe they should put up adequate signage so people know about the signs. I don t live in the area. In general, it gives the police and area a bad name. People complain about people not liking the police? These tactics are why. I drove through once and I have a bad perception of this area.

Clearly run by money grubbers with no moral compass. The city is a literal speed trap and I'm sure they make thousands of dollars daily off of this scam. $100 ticket for 5 miles over inexcusable and immoral. That's a lot of money for my family and we will have to adjust our budget to accommodate this extortion.

This so-called town epitomizes the term "speed trap!" The speed limit changes from 35 mph to 25 mph in the blink of an eye, so your best bet is to go 25 on cruise control until you clear the border of Cleveland. Even a crack in your windshield will warrant an equipment violation.
