Splendid luxury hotel benefits to the top room with private pool breathtaking landscape several pools access a bit difficult to the sea but bathing is to be done

Beautiful location, lovely food and a very relaxed atmosphere

In summary very old hotel build not comfortable at all . If you must to stay there take only the sea view rooms or pool rooms. The food was good and the water slides were great . Even we was in all inclusive there is no food between 16 to 19 and after 22 .

I had a great week staying at this hotel! Excellent organization, clean, great food and great variety, from breakfast to dinner. We had the all-inclusive formula, so we could have cocktails, food and drinks at will! The animation is nice and unobtrusive. The Dell hotel location is great, with a couple of ladders you get to the beach, and in 10 minutes drive you can get to Lindos. Absolutely recommended !!! :)

The Lindos Royal (Cooee) we visited in our summer vacation 2019 in early July for 14 days. The booking was made because of the very positive feedback from the other visitors. The hotel is offered locally as a 5 star in the travel agency as 4 stars. The construction work on site we did not find annoying, if only because most of it is completed. The further construction work to take place in the future is not excluded because there was still space available. We had in our time a junior suite with sea view and terrace. The sea is about 150m over a staircase which leads to the beach The room was quite spacious for a family, but with little storage space for the things. Only a wardrobe! The junior suite was renovated about 2018. The main house and the restaurants are about 50 to 60m. The junior suite had a bathroom with a fixed shower head. The hotel is a typical all inclusive hotel with very good service in the restaurant, depending on the service staff in each season. At the pool bar and the Cooee bar were until 23 o'clock alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for the all inclusive granted. The drinks were no longer poured into a plastic cup, as it was until 7.7.19, but in paper cups. These took up less content than the plastic cups and therefore required frequent stopping at the bar, thanks to Greta for the environment. Therefore, this service does not receive a single star. Instead of dispensing with plastic and cardboard and using glass jars, it is placed on plastic and cardboard. The pool area in the hotel can certainly be considered successful, unfortunately, all beach chairs were usually from 8.00 occupied which we did not mind since we prefer the beach and the sea. The beach is a pebble beach but can be well entered with bathing shoes and is not painful without bathing shoes. Larger stones were limited and very little available so the beach is also suitable for small children. The beach chairs on the beach are not included in the all inclusive and cost extra. An area on the beach is used by the animation team for the Italian guests in the hotel, which daily hold their gymnastics exercises with loud techno music in the water. Where everyone can participate who wants. Ansich it is not a bad hotel we would also like to have awarded 4 stars only the drinks and the corresponding issue to match in any case a 4/5 star hotel and the price because we have paid for 14 days. At the place you are on the all-inclusive offer unfortunately instructed to walk to Lindos is virtually impossible, a taxi costs back and forth about 16 . If you want to rest during your holiday is in good hands for the others it gets boring rather quickly because there is not much in the area where you could go on foot. Those who prefer action are out of place and should rather spend their holidays in a tourist center like Faliraki.

When we got there late at night, the hotel made us some sandwiches to eat, which was great. We were on the 6th floor and it wasn't very well lit at night to get to from the lift (accident waiting to happen). TV has only a news channel for the UK. Only ONE bar open at night, people pushing to front of line, showing NO respect to others. ALOT of people waiting. Pools are OK. Trips via guide no good for Brits, the tours hosted by Italian guides. 12-14 to go by taxi to Lindos, 9 to get back to the Hotel. A hotel is being built next door, but you hardly hear it. For Your tour operator e.g. Jet 2 is situated on Level H, we found out too late and by accident. The staff in the Restaurant for all inclusive are ready Great. The area let's it down, as there isn't much to do or see unless you get a taxi. Children's entertainment is disappointing, no good for British children (Italian, we think). In ALL, we didn't enjoy it here. No good for Brit's.

Our room was facing the sea with a huge terrace. An excellent location. The environment is in continuous restructuring therefore also some negative aspects are due to the fact that there is always work in progress. However, the location is perhaps the most beautiful in Lindos.

Great location with spectacular views and plentiful pools. Suitable for families and couples. The bathrooms in the rooms, however, are ruined and not decent. Room cleaning is a little too fast. Above average buffet. Staff of the complex decent. Eden village below standard.

We stayed for a week from May 26th. Had a wonderful week. Our room was perfect..AC could have been a little better in bedroom but other room was perfect. Had a sea view that I am glad I paid that little extra for. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Only downside is might not be as much entertainment as some are looking for.

It's worth to see, but unfortunately no playground for children..

Excellent resort. Large volumes for rooms and common areas, triumph of swimming pools (8, 10 or +?) For those who prefer ? to the sea, cuisine that meets demanding palates, "Greek" sea and I think this is enough. Recommended without doubt and without fear of contradiction !!

The new part of the hotel is super nice. Here and there some finishing that leaves the wishes but that being said a super nice experience. The old part is due for renewal. A shower head that is full of rust, a toilet with a loose lid and yellow stains on the mattress are outdated. Fortunately we had a room in the new part, and we only stayed in the old part on our last day, to freshen up before departure. The hotel also has a nice buffet, better than other all-in buffets. Friendly service in the restaurant and good service at the reception.

Overall, fine. We had a room as a couple in one of the buildings. Nice room, though not too big, looked newly finished, but if someone likes to look at the details, he would find something for improvement. Sometimes it drew from the court unpleasant odor from the sewage system, helped to close the window and turn on the air conditioning. A comfortable bed. Pools in the hotel are alright though they are not large. Tasty food, in all inclusive you can always choose something. Some things fat, but not all. Some menu items are repeated even daily. But I admit that after a week of this food I felt better than after what served with us. Take the elevator to the top floor of the main building, nice view of the countryside, day and night, the opportunity to watch the sunrise. In the hotel you can rent a car, we used Kia Picanto to navigate the island. Beach chairs payable for 4 euros. At the beginning of October the sea was still warm - water about 23 degrees, at night warm.

A clean, well-kept hotel, although the glory days are over. Good food, nice service. The hotel has several swimming pools, thanks to which they are not crowded (in June).

Stay early October. After the peak season but still great. Mega delicious and a lot of food, different and not to be eaten. The weather is great, on average between 24-27 degrees. The room was cleaned every day, clean, working air conditioning. The service is great, takes care so that nothing runs out and that the person feels pampered :) There is not as much animation as in the season but if someone wants to relax or explore the island then he will be happy. A very enjoyable stay!

Super just for that extra vacation super would need to rent a car and see more

The food at the hotel is wonderful. A very large selection. The service in both the restaurant and hotel is doing great. Numerous attractions with animators as well as a large number of pools (although small).

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 10 days in June 2015.
And what can I say it was fine though with flaws.
The reception was nice, and we were driven to the room with the golf caddy quite quickly. Where we then had to find out that it was not the room we had reserved. But it was in a good way.
Because we now had a room with a bay view and not with a garden view as ordered.
Then we went to reception and asked why it was like that. And to our advantage it was because the room we had reserved was overbooked.
This is how a vacation can start well. The next day we first examined the room properly. And we found a few shortcomings.
Such as. That the room door didn't close properly or that floor tiles had cracked and there were water stains in drawers.

But then it was first time for breakfast. And that was awesome, as were the other meals. Really great. A huge buffet with a choice for everyone.
Just like the drinks, you could choose between numerous cocktails.
But what was really great was the fact that you had direct access to the bay on the hotel grounds and you could go into the water at any time.
And if you didn't feel like doing it, you just went to the pool area and got into the cool water.
Until then, a nice vacation. But on day four I almost burst my collar. At half past six in the morning a hammer drill was in operation in the next room. So that didn't work at all.
We complained about it and then got the cost of the taxi ride to Lindos reimbursed because the hotel did not inform staff and that renovation work was going on that day.
But I can say I would stay at this hotel again.
Also just because of the landscape that prevails there.

nice and friendly service, well organized staff. Great food every day wide choice of dishes and buffet but never crowded as well distributed in most parts of the hall. Three restaurants to book with a list of local wines (greek restau, restau Italian and grill) great idea for a quiet dinner, drinks to be paid extra. Pools clean and well equipped. One completely dedicated to relaxation and one perfect for children with slides. Bar with a good selection of drinks and a wide selection of special granitas and fresh fruit smoothies . The pebble beach is not 5 minutes away from the complex. The tarta club for children is well organized but for adults it is a sadness. The good guys but we see that the resources are the least sin ...

Maximum satisfaction, food, service, environment. I recommend to visit. The hotel has a pier only, but a beautiful pebble beach is a short walk (100m).

A great place for relaxation with children. Pools, slides, own descent to the sea, animators for children, in the evenings for adults. Great service, kitchen also. The restaurant was sooooo nice and forgiving. You have to want to complain, because for a normal, working person is great.

Hotel nice and clean, very friendly service, delicious food. 2 snack bars, 3 swimming pools, rocky beach but beautiful views. I recommend renting cars outside the hotel half the price. The only minus is a resident whose goal is to push tours and that's all and the rest leaves miles and good memories I recommend

It 'was one of the most beautiful holiday ... our room was spacious and with a terrace. Rooms always in order and redone several times a day. Breakfast plentiful and varied buffet .. although I must say that since there was two weeks the food was repeated. Experience in every case unique, highly educated and caring staff both in calling taxis and renting cars. beautiful water ... back twice .. and sooner or later I will return to my paradise!

The first and probably the most important is the food ... Unfortunately ... it was DELICIOUS !!! We'll probably get 10 kg because it's so tasty! Rooms clean, tidy, new TV installed is a screen mirroring option and with a great WiFi, you can easily watch movies online. Overall a revelation!

Beautiful structure even if exaggerated, in addition with the new wing they ruined the landscape.
But above all there is no beach for everyone !!!
I confirm the smell of sewage in the gardens and paths, I confirm that the water served at the tables is not pleasant and the poor quality of the drinks. Good food for a village.
Eden and tui animation in the same village: a waste, especially if you take into account the absurd number of eden staff 10-11people ....

Great family friendly hotel. Many pools, also toddler pools. The green areas are very handsome, especially the meter-high palms. The food is upper class, very varied and varied. No private beach, only a public beach but not crowded. Nowhere on the island is the water clearer and turquoise. Distance to the beach is minimal and can be reached from the back of the hotel.

A very nice hotel. Delicious food. I recommend families with children.

Nice enough hotel but the owner is only interested in making money from rooms. The parking situation here is atrocious with the new hotel also. 3 hotels from the same owner and no car parks at any of them. The condition of the street to this hotel is terrible. Again, all he thinks about is money. The road needs to be completely resurfaced NOW and not at some time in the future. And build a proper parking facitily. It's not much to ask, is it?

A very nice area with many pools.
Animations unfortunately only in Italian.
Food and drinks are also laid out in Italian but still very good.

An extensive hotel on a hill. Nice views, tasty and varied food. Pebble beach, so you need foot protection shoes. Several pools. During our stay there was no fight for sunbeds. The service at the reception about the bars approx. Unfortunately, we lost 100 euros from the room (from a bag hidden in the closet), so it's better not to leave valuable things in the room.

Beautiful village by the sea, well organized and clean. The all inclusive package is excellent, apart from the beach at sea which has no bar, to consume you have to go up 70 meters (including stairs) to drink and eat. Spacious and clean rooms, a pity that the safe which is charged with 25.00 a week. Very good animation, it proposes external excursions, some valid, but many too expensive, better to make do by spending a third. In the structure the car can be rented at very competitive prices. Excellent buffet restaurant, with plenty of food and fish at will. Powerful Wifi, but does not reach the beach at sea.
Recommended for families, couples and companies.

I'm writing the review while I'm in Rhodes on the 4th evening.
The beginning of the vacation was chaotic and stressful. The flight was postponed by 8 hours. The royal overcrowded, stayed 1 night 20 min away. The next day, the travel agent already gone because they knew nothing about outsourced guests ..... The assigned room was terrible. Mold on the edges of the bathtub and a view of a construction site. Got a new room, that was okay. In my opinion, the all inclusive is only worth mentioning because of the food because this is meega delicious. The drinks come out of the hose and are served in paper cups. In addition, it only contains alcoholic no-name products and you don't even get what is on the menu at the bar. Wine served by glass - wine from the slushy machine in a paper cup
Bacardi with soft drink - cheap rum with cola from a tube without carbonic acid. After we said that we wanted to have at least what is on the menu, the bartender replied: You didn't pay for Bacardi, if it doesn't suit you, go to the hotel manager and complain. No sooner said than done: We got 2 Bacardi-Cola, the bartender was in trouble and the next day the menu was changed: ') There is now rum-soft drink. If he comes to us again so stupid then I order another wine served by glass and then go to complain that I get a paper cup: ') Then on Wednesday we generally complained to the tour guide about: Every evening sound from very loud Italian animations, Despite the back room and closed doors and windows and the performance of the All Inc. - this is probably completely normal because we would not have booked a Fully All Inc. ... ok nice to know ... in general we would have been advised wrong and she is sorry. We could either add 800 and move to another hotel for 6 nights or we could get a room with a private communal pool. Since we have already paid 2400, the former was out of the question. The room with the pool is very nice and renovated. The tour guide and the hotel manager really tried to make the holiday for us as beautiful as possible for us through the misinformation from the travel agency. For the great service, the new room, the beautiful hotel's own bay, the delicious food and the great view, there are still 4/5 stars. Some parts of the hotel are in need of renovation and should not be offered as great rooms and some work should be done on all Inc. so that there are perhaps hard plastic cups instead of paper cups that are then used several times. A good place to relax, a hotel beautifully located near the town of Lindos, a nice pool complex. Food decent.

The two of us spent a week in the Lindos Royal in mid-May 2019 and had a very modern and clean room with a private pool on the terrace. All the staff were very courteous and helpful with any questions.
Generally speaking, the hotel was very clean and (perhaps due to the preseason) very quiet, you could tell that it was far from fully booked. The beach could be reached on foot in 5 minutes and had enough loungers with umbrellas in the pebble beach. The buffet offered a rich selection of local and international dishes of top quality - you could eat very tasty here from morning to evening. The water tasted a bit like chlorine, which didn't detract from the overall impression.
Lindos could be easily reached by public transport and taxis, but a rental car is recommended to get to know the area and the entire island better. Rental cars could be rented directly in the hotel at reasonable rates - we used this and took a small car for 3 days. Everything went smoothly and without complications here.
All in all, we felt really comfortable at the Lindos Royal, had a very relaxed time and would recommend it at any time.

Very beautiful landscape. Should one look absolutely like the Greeks so life and their culture.

Very nice village, lots of pools, clean and very good food, thanks to the Italian chef for the fabulous pasta he prepared on the spot. A special thank you for the Eden animation guys who are available prepared and which made us have a great time.

Huge resort facing Vlycha beach, we've been given room 1064, old and facing the entrance of the main restaurant, it wasn't possible to open the only window available due to the constant passage of the people.
We've asked the concierge to change the room, after some hesitation we've been given room 1611, located at the sixth floor of a new building, with much nicer furniture and a nice view on the resort.
The hotel is huge but has several common services that can cope massive audiences, food is nice and quite varied, there's plenty of choice.
There are also two other restaurants (Greek and Mediterranean), food and service is very good.
There's a private rocky access to the sea but it gets crowded very soon, the same goes for the pools, Vlycha beach is a short walk away.

It is a very nice hotel. Room very modern and newly renovated. Beds very good. Restaurant very good. The food is tasty and varied and of very good quality. The pools are very nice. The beach next to the hotel is made of pebbles and it gets very deep. At the bars there are all drinks from disposable plastic cups, that's not very nice. The staff is very nice and helpful. For small children a playground is missing and the evening mini disco is only for the Italian children listed, that's a shame.

Excellent village for both service and hospitality. Beautiful cove of stones within walking distance
Not convenient to reach Lindos or Rhodes reachable only by motor vehicles or scooters.
