It's not a bad store to visit, but do have limited fabric to choose from. Lots of other crafts though.

They got rid of a large portion of their fabric from this location, if you need sewing supplies, don't go here.

Wasted my time tripping into the city especially for this store.

Large and well organised, this store is a crafter's dream under the busy street and away from the hustle and bustle of Bourke Street.
Friendly staff and plenty of stock, and the ability to order items in, make this a great place to visit to scratch that creative itch. Long lines at the registers can sometimes be overwhelming, so steer clear at lunch time especially.

Large store with lots of craft items. Plenty of ideas for you to try. Everything you need to complete your sewing and more

Really lovely staff, very approachable willing to help. Nice variety. Would be nice if heaters were turned down a bit as it is rather warm inside.

Wide variety of products, and the retail sales assistant was very nice and helpful.

Only sewing place within walking distance of my home in the CBD. Doesn't carry basic supplies and the prices can be outrageous. If you have a choice between here and Spotlight, make the trip to Spotlight. The only reason I didn't give this place one star is that the staff is always friendly.

Seems a bit disorganised, want greeted by any staff in the 20 minutes I was browsing.

So so. Could be so much better. Not at all like the glory days where Lincraft was a fabulous spot to peruse and purchase wonderful fabrics.

Not a complete solution craft store - good range of most products mostly for hobby and decorating use.

Lots if variety o offer. More interested in the craft stuff myself which is quite good.

Thanks for a great shopping experience at the end of a hot and tiring day. The assistant went out of her way to help us manage the many bags we were carrying, reducing 9 to 3. They also had a wide range of craft snd gifts; we will shop here again

Have got a great selection of embroidery cottons from multiple brands

Overpriced, a lot of shoddy quality stuff, and there is an aisle with an intense sewage smell. Very small ranges or availability of things when I'm looking for them. Was stuck buying bad earring backs, which turned out in addition to be flawed. But location is very handy and the staff are good.

Helpful customer service and great selection of craft items

I got craft supplies here and it was good. The wool was blue and very soft. The knitting needles deff did the job - suppose it was perfect really. Music that they played was ok. Mediocre but at least it wasn t Mariah Carey coz I don t like that artist.

Compact craft store in the city that has oodles packed into it. Main entrance via escalator from Elizabeth Street, lift access also available via Bourke Street. Become a member & don't forget to use your rewards vouchers, the staff don't always remember to check them.

I think it might be to cut costs but there just needs to be more staff. Other that that, it's great. Bit expensive but quality is really good.

Great service but limited range. I wish they would go back to being the great dressmaking and craft supply place they used to be. More like a discount variety store now. Such a shame.

A true gem. This store was alot larger than i expected.. The journey descending down to the basement felt like an exciting journey into fun town..

I liked the wide assortment of sewing knick knacks. They also had a variety of crafting books from crochet to knitting, card making, beading but didn't find any quilting books (other branches have). There were a lot of fabric choices but hope they can have character fabrics too.

I'm a crocheter so I'm into yarn. Lincraft usually doesn't catch my eye but this last visit they had some lovely mill ends. Wish I had more room in my baggage.

The store has very friendly staff and stocks all that you would expect of a larger chain. That said, this particular store does have a slightly unintuitive layout and the location of some items are not immediately clear which leaves you constantly having to ask questions. Whilst this isn't such a big issue it does make it frustrating if you are in a hurry.

Has lots of bits and pieces for your handiwork. Helpful staff. Some good sale products at the moment.

Friendly staff, good variety of products in a very central and convenient location, decent prices available during sales. Note that this is a smaller store though, so you'll still have to travel out of the city to go to their bigger branches or to Spotlight in South Melbourne if you're in search for more curtain and blinds accessories.

Weird layout, advertised stock at sale price but had no fabric at that price. Over priced, rude unhelpful staff and average stock.
This is why I go to Spotlight and Super Cheap Fabrics.

Wait till there's a sale if you can- too expensive at full price! Now the only full craft store in the CBD, though.

A medium-sized craft store, with great selection of budget-friendly options. My go-to for an emergency ball of soft merino and 40-cm circular knitting needles.

Please, get more knitting gauges in stock! :)

Relocated to this smaller floor space but still have the fantastic wide selection... or at least it looks like that.

A handy Lindcraft store in the middle of Melbourne.

Really love this place, it is basically a heaven for art n craft, and with crativity, we can make anything. Used to be at collin street, now they had moved to elizabeth street, between lonsdale and bourke street, melbourne.

I went buy wool, I was able to get what I wanted but it is expensive!

Very good service I got what I wanted and dropped off some beanie I had knitted for charity. All good.

Nice staff, large variety of craft supplies (especially for a shop located in the city). Just be warned that it does get really hot in there if you're wearing jacket.

Lincraft city has a much smaller selection than the previous two-floor store, and smaller than maribyrnong, for example. Staff are friendly, some corridors are tight for mobility aids. Access for disabled through a lift on Bourke Street just before the travel agent.

Great store for women. Needs a mens drop off centre with reading material and coffee.

Huge range of haberdashery. Great for craft lovers. Good range of cotton reels.

Lots of good crafting tools. Similar to a Michaels in America.

Really poor customer service. Went in there to purchase elastics to make a face mask. Picked two options from a display labelled as materials to use to make your own face masks. When at the counter, I asked the sales person whether this was appropriate to use to make a face mask and whether it could be sewn and used in that context. The salesperson assured me it was. I took it home, used it to make a face mask and both options snapped. I called up to see if I could substitute it , and more importantly that they put up signage to communicate to customers that this is not appropriate to be used for face masks and she was just interjected and talked all over me.

Not much product choice. Smallish store but there were lots of the same thing instead of smaller quantities of a wider range.
