Too many arrogant narcissistic people who think they are better than you. If you are not part of the "establishment," "the good ole boy" group you will not get far if you want career advancing promotions. The place is like high school. There is bullying by management also Management pick favorites. It doesn't matter how talented you are, if there is a mother, father, relative or friend a part of the "establishment" who has a son, daughter, relative or friend that wants the same promotion as you, guess who will get the promotion. Merit does not count. You can be the best at your job, but if the person in line bidding with you is associated with "the good ole boy group" dream on.
Great people to work for and with. When most companies were laying off, FTP was offering days to come in and clean. When times got tough, they offered a buy our for people to take who were in a good position to do so to avoid lay offs. Compared to other companies under stress of a failing economy, great job! Thanks for not letting your associates down.
I took a buyout from ft precision Fredricktown ohio june 30 2016 . I was chosen by criteria. I applied for unemployment. i was approved but they appealed stating they did it to be more competitive. I know 5 department have been removed from building and machines scrapped with a local company . I was offered buyout due to lack of work. they say to be more profitable. they hired temporary workers to work our jobs. I have a recording of meeting stating they had no orders till 2018 maybe 2019 . THAT IS CLEARLY LACK OF WORK.
