People are super nice BUT they charge a package pick up fee! I dropped a fedex express prepaid box off and they charged me $1 as a service fee. Not necessary when fedEx will literally come to my house and do this for free.

As a regular here, I'm sorry to have to agree with some of the other reviews that it seems there is a delay to the mail carrier. I spent over $100 on priority overnight, and it apparently didn't reach the mail carrier until TWO WEEKS later. When I contacted Dean, he told me to take it up with the post office, and I have been on the phone with them for many days, hours at a time, and had a hard time getting back in touch with Dean from Lincoln Postal. He has been completely gracious the whole time, but those were important packages to the IRS! I paid a very high price to send them overnight, and they arrived almost a month later. It just doesn't seem like the accountability is there, just a mountain of work for the customer if something goes wrong.

I've used Lincoln Postal on multiple occasions and had the same experience on each of those occasions.

Pros: they're conveniently located and the lines aren't as long as you'll find at USPS; they have well-stocked supplies.

Cons: each and every time I've used them, they seem to delay transferring packages to the carrier.

For example, I shipped 15 packages on December 16 for USPS First Class, and the packages weren't even registered in the USPS system until December 28 (the "pickup" date). If you call Lincoln Postal, they'll claim that the packages were picked up by USPS; if you call USPS, they'll claim that the packages haven't been received. Whatever the reason, this has been a consistent experience and although I thought it was a one-off the first time it happened, it's clear now that despite the convenient location, your package will not reach its destination for weeks.

I go here regularly to drop off my FedEx packages. The charge is $1 to drop off which is amazing because it's a small business and for me to get to an FedEx office, I'd have to go another mile. They have any packing supply you'd need. If you don't see it on the shelf, ask and they probably have it. The line here never has been more than 5-10 minutes. If you're looking for good service and looking to support small businesses, this is the spot.

I had to go to Lincoln Postal twice today, and each time the associate was super fast! The first time, I needed to overnight some documents, and I arrived just as the FedEx carrier was arriving to pick up items around 5pm. The associate quickly whisked me through the process of sending my envelope and handing it to the FedEx carrier. Then, I had to come back again because I found out that I needed to scan the documents. Again, the same associate quickly took my documents, scanned them. I was able to forward the scanned documents by email to the recipient within 10 minutes.

Thanks!!

Pros: The staff is extremely nice. They are just wonderful.

Cons: very slow service (your package might sit there for days) and grossly OVERPRICED. Be ready to pay triple the price you would pay at a USPS location. Also, there is no consistency at all. In the past few months, I have been charged $8, $15 and $28 to post three identical envelopes containing exactly the same thing (obviously at different occasions). It doesn't make sense at all. I'm not going back :(

Lincoln Postal was a lifesaver for me pre-pandemic--they've always been patient, friendly (which isn't necessary for five stars, but it's appreciated!), and really helpful with my needs.

Lately that's been shipping packages--it's easier to walk a block here and spend a $1 on a pre-paid package than walk it to the Empire USPS--but I needed something faxed, and that was a breeze, too.

I'm grateful that they've remained open.

I've also noticed that when I bring a USPS flat rate package here it tends to move along more easily than at the post office. I know this is a matter of mail flow, but I'm still grateful!

Let me start by saying the store was very disorganized & it is very clear they have not future plans to change. The two employees on duty at the time (5:15pm) do not care about the appearance of the store. During a pandemic, the least you can do it clean up to safe guard yourself & others. Not to mention both of them were not wearing masks or gloves.

Today I went to drop off a couple packages & the customer service rep told stated its $1.00 per package to drop off. Mind you, I had to get her attention away from her phone to assist me. I asked if this was a new policy change? and when did this take new change take effect. The employee, with the 1997 hiphop music video wig, decided to tell me that it has been this way since she put the signs up and pointed at the back door. The other rep, with the glasses and head wrap, decided that response was funny. I really hope its funny when I call to speak & submit a formal complaint to your manager. Clearly customer service is not a priority for this location.

I will never use their service again.

The staff are great! I enjoy how nice they are every time I come in. It feels like a small town post office. The reason I can only give 2 stars is because they seem to hold packages for days. Every time I have dropped of packages they seem to sit at this location for 3 to 5 days before they are actually picked up by the carrier. I truly hate staring so low but considering this is a postal drop off point one would expect daily pickups. It is truly sad as well because this is the only conveniently located drop off in the area. I hope this can be improved because I truly enjoy the place and the people!
