Lilydale Agricultural and Horticultural Society Review

Lilydale cider festival should be called Lilydale beer festival.

I have been going to the Lilydale show nearly every year since 1966, and I always have a great time, however I am a bit upset that the last 2 years they have not had the steam engines at the show (they were my favourite exhibit)

with the grandkids - they loved every moment - except the scary rides - maybe?

Must admit that we were a little underwhelmed when attending the recent Lilydale Show. Plant and produce displays were minimal, photography exhibit was larger, very little in the way of animal judging and display (except the Alpacas) but we did see Young Farmers in attendance.

Was not too much in the way of food, even with the recent proliferation of food-trucks at various other events. Rides were rather generic and there was only 2 trucks selling show bags.

i m not sure i can be fair to review the rides because they have the most unfriendly staff i ever seen ,it s like someone put gun to their head and made them work there or something.
not to mention the rides were over priced
defiantly we not going back there .
