It was a bit overpriced considering the state of the fare we were served. The smoky chicken was delicious absolutely and the corn bread tamale stuffing was very tasty the gorgonzola creamed corn was way too rich for creamed corn the taste of the gorgonzola overwhelming and offputting and not adequate as the only side, i guess the corn bread stuffing counts? The stuffed mushroom was well tasty but the mound of spinach was a bit too large and the whole thing was over garnished, the pasta was good but the cheese on top was not quite melted and despite the whole dish steaming the cheese was cold and just kinda smooshed on there haphazardly. The gnocchi were well executed and the highlight of the meal probably, everything lacked flavor, it was very conservative flavor wise and the team behind this menu has a refined pallet but definitely overzealous with these choices in my opinion. I would like to try some more of there offerings because they are obviously talented and believe out of the whole menu they likely got a few dishes right.. two of these 3 were not however in my opinion. Ambience was very nice and the server was attentive and friendly.

We absolutely loved Lilis's Bistro! The service was second to none, and the meals were the best. Make sure you make reservations as this is a smaller restaurant but with an intimate setting. We will definitely be visiting again.

Always great food and good service. Tonight we got there 10 minutes before it opened and they were kind enough to let us come in and sit at the bar. Also, it's great to hear the live jazz in the evenings.

Food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Wait staff was good but not exceptional. Was extremely noisy but on a better note the atmosphere was inviting. It was a pleasant dining experience.

The food was delicious! I recommend the bacon wrapped quail. I do not recommend the fried green tomato and shrimp. The gorgonzola fries were delicious. I also liked the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant! I highly recommend! The 4 star is because of the dish mentioned above.

Our first time here, but not the last. Lobster bites entree was excellent. Glad it's going to be on the menu. Tuscan beef tips were very juicy and flavorful. Gorgonzola fries are awesome! Music after dinner with a cafe au lait capped off a great date! Nice to see people walking up and down Magnolia in the evening.

One of the best restaurants in Fort Worth. Large menu, but not a bad plate yet (and really generous portions. Great vegetarian/pescatarian options. Live jazz pianist, great apple pie, and mind-blowing donuts (1 order serves at least 4).

Tonight was my second time to visit Lili's and I was as pleased as the first time I visited.

Lili's is very cozy, quaint establishment in Fort Worth's Magnolia Street District on the near south-side; just south of the Hospital district. It's divided into two sections: the bar area, which provides both bar-top and table top seating with live entertainment on weekends, and the more dimly lit, personal dinning area. Both are relatively small so seating is very limited, given it's popularity, and reservations are a must (at least on weekends) if you don't want to be waiting a long time.

The menu at Lili's is a incredibly diverse and offers up gourmet choices for all dinning preferences. All of the food is prepared daily, using fresh ingredients and offers up some amazing complimentary taste pairings that will delight.

The bar has a wide beverage choice and and they have a wonderful, albeit small, desert menu. HINT: Get the house made donuts with chocolate drizzle and coffee ice-cream.

Lastly, the wait staff has been (on both visits) personable, attentive, expeditious and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone... and everyone.

Small, quaint restaurant. Excellent service. Our waiter was very attentive, our food arrived quickly. We split a wedge salad, which arrived split do we didn't have to split ourselves. Recommend. Also we had the nachos- not your usual tex Mex, more of a gorganzo salad on pitta chips. Also recommended. Nice dinner.

So good! If you want lamb cooked to perfection, this is the place. (I suggest medium) We had appetizer, 4 different dishes, and 2 desserts. It was all delicious. The service was fabulous too. We will be back!

First off, I wanna say I never write reviews ever, but for this place I will make the exception. I took my girlfriend to this restaurant for our date night because I wanted to take her somewhere nice, what a terrible idea coming here was!! I ordered the smoky chicken and I took a couple bites to realize it's NOT COOKED all the way, it was literally HALF PINK like someone just cut up a chicken in the back. I internally started freaking out, I have had food poisoning before and it's the worst. After this point, that's all I could think about. I then showed them the uncooked meat and they got me a new one, this one was OVERCOOKED and DRY. I'm not even interested in eating at this point, but I was hungry cause I didn't eat that day. So they offer us free dessert and that's it, to me that isn't enough for giving me the possiblity of FOOD POISONING. I didn't complain more cause I didn't wanna ruin my date with my girlfriend. The other food was sub par too, my girlfriends chicken looked like it was taken from a package and the new risotto side dish on the menu tasted like someone learning how to cook for the first time, literally flavorless!!! This story doesn't end here. As soon as we get home, my girlfriend says she doesn't feel well and ends up being on the TOILET all night. She got sick from the food she ate there and was sick all the next day too. This ended up being a date from hell and it was this restaurants fault. I will NEVER go here again!! I will NEVER recommend it to anyone. They should fire the cook in the back, who does quality control back in the kitchen!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! I would rate 0 if I could!!

LOVE the atmosphere and the vibe, for a date with my husband or a night out with girlfriends. My husband has also had many work lunches here and only raved about it. The wait staff is always very friendly too and on top of things. AND they have my favorite dessert in town: the doughnuts with a Cafe au Lait!!!!! Happy Birthday to me!

Always. Always. I think I've ordered half the menu now and can't find anything I don't like. Very creative combinations, great presentation, and filling. Also the staff is first rate and Vance is a such a welcoming host.

Wow! I just had the best burger I've had in a few years. I'm not kidding it was the Lili's House Burger. No Soy or MSG. Just an old fashioned, old school burger made with plenty of love. This was my first visit but it will not be my last. Thanks guys. I highly recommend.

Amazing food in general, but the green chile pork loin is utterly, indescribably (so I won't try) delicious. Mmm - just go. One of Fort Worth's secret gems! Loved this place. Excellent atmosphere. Dimly lit, romantic, great food. A little pricey but good for special occasions. One of Fort Worth's secret gems! try it

Took a friend that had never been there before and she absolutely loved it. The house wedge was wonderful as usual and was so happy that the special of the day was the poblano king ranch skillet that is no longer on the lunch menu but is by far my favorite dish there.

Celebrated our 20th Anniversary there -- could not ask for a better experience. I had a present for my wife I wanted on the table before we arrived and they accommodated with no qualms at all. The Manager was very nice, our server upon arrival was one of the best I've experienced (and I'm particularly finicky with my servers), the food was absolutely incredible, I got to meet the chef which is always a delight to be able to "pass the compliment" directly on, and there was live piano in the background.

My one concern was quickly put to rest -- I was a little apprehensive at first with how close the seating was to everyone else, but somehow they still pull off a private feel and it felt like we were all alone in there.

I don't mind paying a little more for a meal if the experience matches the price, and I absolutely got more than my money's worth at Lili's. A great date night spot, very affordable. We will be back time and time again.

Love Lilly's. Outstanding soups. Sandwiches are excellent. But if you like top notch soups, this is it. Lunches are busy. Try eating at the bar in this case to avoid waiting. 11:30 and after it gets crowded.

What an amazing ambiance! We had martinis that came in a frozen glass then scallop tostadas. Sounds simple right? Best martini and fresh scallops that were cooked to perfection!
Highly recommend this restaurant! You won't be disappointed!

The food was AMAZING! Highly recommend the duck sausage small plate. I also had one of the best steaks in my life. The staff was friendly and the ambiance set the perfect mood for date night.
Will go back again.

A return to one of my wife's favorite Ft. Worth restaurants did not disappoint. The Jalapeno Brie shareable was a great start with soft pita type toast points and toasted pecans. Sipping our bottle of Chardonnay and chatting with live piano music in the background was a great way to chill. We were so happy that our server, Keith, was attentive, but did not rush us to order and provided spot on recommendations when asked. We each had a wedge salad - mine was the house with Gorgonzola and my wife's was the Greek - and they were tasty and crisp. Main course was Tenderloin Medallions with add on Asian Crab Cakes, which were a nice, light change of pace compared to the traditional style. Lili's atmosphere is hard to beat. If you are looking for a weekday chill or a weekend celebration, this is the place. Make reservations because Lili's has limited space. Only beer and wine for adult bevs, but a great selection of each. Put Lili's in your rotation, you'll be glad you did.

Always great food.

Always great food.
Two of my favorites are the Clam Chowder and Quail Sliders (along with the coleslaw and the corn).
Vance and his staff do a great job of preparing the meals and service.

LILIES BISTRO 1/18/20
This was our first time at Lili's Bistro as my wife and I wanted to try a new place for our Anniversary.

Alexandra was our waitress whom immediately greeted us with an enthusiastic and infectious smile which made us feel right at home. She was fun, extremely knowledgeable and very personable. We found ourselves laughing a lot. She made for a wonderful experience.
Live music soon began and mixed in with the low buzz of the bar, added to the ambiance of the room. The volume of it all was just low enough that our conversation was never hampered.
We first ordered a bottle of Kunfu Girl Riesling which perfectly complimented our entire dinner.
Our food order was placed and before we knew it, the first course arrived. We anxiously shared an order of the Bacon Wrapped Quail which was just amazing. They were so tender, only a fork was needed to cut thru them. The sauce was incredible and the heat from the Jalapeno was perfect. The Jalapeno was also cooled down a bit by the bed of the exceptionally tasty coleslaw the Quail shared the plate with.
My wife ordered the Coffee Crusted Salmon. I only have one word Unbelievable! The Salmon was prepared perfectly and with the coffee crust WOW! She also had the Maple-Bacon Brussels Sprouts which were off the hook Phenomenal!
I ordered the Tenderloin Medallions with 2 Scallops. The Scallops were cooked perfectly! The Medallions were cooked nicely, however, their seasoning was non existent as they were bland. My side was the Boursin Whipped Potatoes which were extremely light and very good. To help the bland Tenderloin, I added a bit of the whipped potato to each bite. For dessert we tried THE Chocolate Cake. Just dip your spoon into the hot chocolate cake taking some of the vanilla ice cream along for the ride, then pour a little of the Raspberry Drizzle over Delicious!!!
Overall? We are most definitely going back very soon!

Absolutely blown away by their delicious Ruben. I ve never had something melt in my mouth and taste so good. I went for my first time at lunch yesterday and loved every minute I was there. My friend got their turkey burger and it was huge and delicious also. Would give it five stars but not a fan of the parking situation. I had to park a few blocks down because the area is so popular, but this restaurant is well worth the effort.

Good little spot for decadent foods with a creative presentation. Excellent service. Unfortunately, No liquor, only wine and beer. Casual attire. Only half of the restaurant is serviced by the live music.

Decided to go for an impromptu date night. It's a small, cozy little place with outdoor seating and heaters when it's cold. The food was amazing, we got the special, which was a petite filet. The bar, however, only has wine and beer. That's great, except when you're wanting a nice cocktail.

I love this place. The piano room sets the mood, the food is an array of eclectic affair, and service has always been attentive. I love the Magnolia area and this restaurant is one of the stars.
