Excellent and amazing organization for anyone who is visually impaired. They offer training (on sight and off sight) for training with Activities of Daily Living, Orientation and techniques with use of tech. tools. Staff are also caring and amazing. Some are also visually impaired. They help my brother, with LYNX service, and getting him registered for a 7 week program. Simply amazing. If you want to find a source to donate, this one that is very worthy of donations. Such an important organization for ppl with visual impairment.
My twins are gaining the independence they desire! They are receiving services from visually impaired, as well as sighted instructors; and are learning Independent Living Skills, how to travel using public transportation, job skills, and currently taking braille classes. Two thumbs up, staff is amazing!!

I have been volunteering at Lighthouse for over ten years. I have nothing but great things to say about them. The organization creates opportunities and teaches those who are visually impaired how to feel more self reliant and confident. The entire team is incredibly passionate about the mission and are dedicated to creating awareness and helping the blind and visually impaired. Incredible organization!
